    Pros +

    • Best qualty for price we encountered in Greece
    • staff was excellent and very attentive
    • Loved breakfast. Location was good.

    Cons -

    • Shower/tub was a little high. Big step in and out. Water pressure could have been better.
    • The bathrooms are way too small and the bathtub is a hazard. Most of the hotel's guests are elderly and I had a fractured arm and it was scary to get in and out of the bathtub. The bathrooms need to be modernized with showers for easy access.Refrigerator was very noisy. Knew that the hotel was old but didn't want to be in the smelly downtown.
    • If you want a place where the staff couldn't give a care if you lived or died, had bland, inspired food offerings, paper thin walls, limited lounge chairs outside to enjoy the pool, and can't even accomplish something so easy as ordering a taxi, this is the place for you. The front desk people are colder than white sharks.

Location was good if you want a place somewhat close to Central Corfu but far enough away to avoid all the hustle and bustle.

If you want a place where the staff couldn't give a care if you lived or died, had bland, inspired food offerings, paper thin walls, limited lounge chairs outside to enjoy the pool, and can't even accomplish something so easy as ordering a taxi, this is the place for you. The closeness to town. The food was very good. The staff are excellent. The pool is good.

I've stayed before had a room overlooking the pool. I went with my husband this time and the room (213) needs updating. Bed on one side was pushed against the wall. The bath/ shower was dangerous had a step in it and the standing room was no bigger than a basin. Had the mirror and shower gel dispenser and the shower head all tight together. The balcony need furniture that fits the table needed to be half the size and the clothes line needs to be on the end wall. Can't complain about the cleanliness but they are a bit mean with the coffee and tea bags. Would come again but look into having a different room.

kindness of all the staff, location, facilities

My experience at Mon Repos Palace was excellent. The breakfast is truly spectacular — one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, with plenty of variety and fresh options every morning. The staff also took care of arranging a transfer for me, and the driver was beyond kind and courteous, which made the arrival even smoother. As for the accommodations, the room had a slightly older style, but it was still very comfortable and well maintained, offering everything needed for a pleasant stay.Overall, Mon Repos Palace delivers a combination of great service, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

Bed and pillows excellent and ambience wonderful

I didn’t like the plastic shower curtain touching me when I shower

    Really nice view and breakfast.

Tin walls, I was able to hear absolutely everything that my room neighbors did or spoke.

The location, the room, the ambience including evening music, the food.

    Lack of a private beach

    9IrynaPosted on: 8-5-2025

Great location, near beach and 15-20 min walk to old town, lots of restaurants nearby, amazing staff and wonderful service

    Bathroom was a bit outdated

Beautiful hotel with a vintage touch to it. It has a beautiful view on the ocean, in a cute location, 20 min walking to the center of Corfu. We booked a sea view, and the view was incredible. The rooms and beds are super spacious.

This property went out of its way with small things, the Nespresso machine with replenished coffee every day, to a welcome snack in your room. The staff were willing to help and offer suggestions. The breakfast had plenty of options and the Greek salad with bread for lunch was divine.

The rooms were a little tight so maybe less furniture to accommodate luggage’s we had two big chairs that could easily be removed to make space. Also we could hear every movement from upstairs to outside our hall. Light sleepers might have trouble.

    Location only

It doesn’t reflect a 4 stars hotel , i took it because i saw the pictures and the location was attractive, but unfortunately you can hear anyone passing in the hallway, the bathroom is tight and has no ventilation. The staff weren’t helpful, the cleanliness was below average

    10DeborahPosted on: 7-19-2025

The property itself was beautiful and elegant. Air-conditioning was spot on and the views of the ocean from right outside were amazing. Breakfast was abundant and delicious and the pool was relaxing and lovely.

    8NicholasPosted on: 5-30-2025

    very good

We asked for 1 double room and 1 room with single beds. Both rooms had single beds so hence not the best scores.

Mon Repos Palace has done a really good job incorporating the modern amenities we have come to expect into a classic old building. It is lovely and the team offers a high level of service. They are dedicated workers and some of them appear to be there 24/7.The location is great because you are just on the outskirts of town and have wonderful views along with a more relaxed ambiance. It is a about a 30 minute walk to the old fortress and a little further to the far end of Corfu town. There are also buses but it is a scenic, pedestrian-friendly, mostly flat walk. Many restaurants and a couple of corner stores (one with fresh bakery items) are an easy stroll away along with the archaeological museum. The entrance to Mon Repos Park (side note - it is not open 24hr day) is a bit of a trek on the streets shared with traffic but worth visiting. Multiple ancient churches and ruins are scattered right around the hotel. The breakfast buffet is amazing. It is akin to something from a cruise ship. Many delicious options and such high class service. You feel like royalty. (Started at 7a with the hot foods starting at 7:30.) Dining or sitting outside on the porch with the view is so nice. There is a full bar and they have singers in the evening. There is a relaxing and inviting atmosphere throughout the public areas. They also offer a dinner buffet. It was just as nicely done as the breakfast but we found the food uninteresting compared to other options in the area. It was a good option for a rainy night. Tip: Arrive for meals at first opening during rain or be prepared to wait awhile. In May parking was doable - if you can parallel park well. We had to circle once or twice at times. In high season I'd predict major parking issues. (FYI: The rental car company told us that parking along the water side of the street is short term only - not for overnight.) 20E cost for the transfer between the ferry terminal and hotel.

The bed is strikingly hard. Firm doesn't begin to describe it. I took the bedspread and folded it multiple times to sleep on top of in order to shield my joints. It then felt like laying on a slightly padded table. That being said, once I drifted off, I slept better than normal every night so maybe they are on to something. The tub sides are very high and dangerous for getting in and out of after a shower even for tall and fully ambulatory people. It was also narrower than normal but that can't be avoided given space constraints.Corfu itself - nothing to do with the hotel - is plastered with so much grafitti. I was really taken aback by it on the initial cab ride to the hotel.

Location was good, near Old Town.

No control over air conditioning. Room was too warm. Was told thermostats don’t control temperature. Shower wqter turned scalding a few times.
