Lovely view, good breakfast, very friendly and kind hosts with good advice about activities and souvenirs.
The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the access was a bit hard even by car (narrow steep road)
Very nice owners. The hotel room itself is very clean, as towels are changed every day and the floor and dust are washed. Rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with kettles and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers.
Unfortunately, the mattresses were very worn, you could feel every spring, and the wooden bed creaked a lot when you moved. The shower head was broken and water was pouring out sideways. No electrical socket in the bathroom. The dryer was mounted in the corridor and very low, so using it was a big problem. Breakfast is average, the same every day, available from 8:30-10:30. Before 10:00 there was almost nothing. The food was replenished after we twice pointed out to the owner that we did not want to eat leftovers. To get to the hotel, you have to take a long and difficult route, so you need to rent a car.
Rooms where cleaned daily by staff.
Acces to the vila/hotel. Road was up the hill and very tight
nice staff, great breakfast, quiet rooms, The hotel is well connected to the main road that leads to the most interesting areas of the island, and is located on a high point offering a spectacular view
the road (shared with other structures) to reach the hotel is narrow, fortunately it is very short, the parking is small but it is not a serious problem
The concept of the pool side bar was well thought out and practical. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and roomy, plus the balcony was amazing. We would recommend this hotel, but you should have a rented car.
I stayed here for a long weekend to attend a wedding in town. The room was super spacious, good shower, comfy bed (I'm a big fan of a firm matress though so if this isnt you, then doubel check other options in the hotel) and an iron provided that actually worked! The elusive trifector of a good hotel. Overall, exceptional value for money compared to other hotels in the area and exceeded expectations. Breakfast was plentiful and set me up perfectly each day, but I'd say get there early for the best bits! What made the stay extra special, though, was the owners. They couldn't have done more to help me. My friends were staying at a hotel next door that could have been a 25 min walk down then up the hill, but the owners managed to arrange a little shortcut with the hotel next door which meant we could all travel together with ease. It's not often you find places and people that will go above and beyond for you, but you definitely will here! An absolute gem of a place that I'll have no hesitation recommending to friends and family, and I'll definitely be back. Book it now!
I have absolutely nothing negative to say!
Staff was very friendly
The hotel is very old… also the rooms… parking there was very difficult…
Location,staff, amenities,quiet,privacy,
This is a simple but very comfortable hotel. The views were exceptional with a lovely balcony and air conditioning in the bed room. The swimming pool was very nice and floodlit at night providing a lovely area to sit and have a drink before retiring for the night. Breakfast was also served by the pool which was very pleasant.
No negatives but I would suggest that a car is a must really.
The view from our room was a top feature, we really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony at the end of the day just admiring the view. The room is exactly what we could need for our stay, the bed was comfy, the TV had netflix, and the air conditioning saved us since we saw temperatures about 40C. Breakfast was delicious and the pool was always clean for the week we've been there. Everyday there's a tiny robot cleaning it.
The internet inside our room was a bit flaky and we struggled with it. Outside and in specific spots it did work quite well.
The pool is refreshing for the hot days and some points have a good view of the coast.
The structure is not terrible, but challenging to reach: it's on an extremely twisty and steep hill, which is not mentioned. Breakfast doesn't match the pictures and wasps take over the food when you try to eat; many other guests were upset at this like us. The room was basic (again, not as pictured), far from amenities and some rules are never stated. We were two people in a twin room and got only one key, with an electricity card on the keyring. Since we had potential separate plans, we detached them as one wouldn't be able to use electricity if the other had to open the door at the same time. Apparently, it's policy not to do this and to never leave the electricity card in the room to be "eco-friendly". We were never told, nor it is on Booking, but we would have obviously avoided if so. During dinner out together, the owner secretly took the electricity card, which we discovered after returning. Upon asking for the card back, the owner insulted and yelled at me, would not allow us to put it back on the keyring and insisted he had to do it personally. After this, they sent a message blaming us instead, saying we escalated the situation and they'd be "willing to forget" if we apologised in writing for "insulting the owner". This never happened, with witnesses present. He then tried to dissuade us from leaving this review by giving us a small parting gift which I appreciate, but doesn't change that they left us in a boiling, dark room because we were literally deprived of electricity.
Was a lovely stay, the pool are is great with lots of shade if needed. There is a great breakfast too. The owners are very lovely and helpful with places to see. Thank you
Friendly ,helpful people, nice clean.room with beautiful view ,nice location ,good breakfast !
We loved the hospitality of the owners, very kind and accommodating at all timed. The location was privileged, close from the city of Kerkyra but quite calm and relaxing.
The bathroom was a bit old fashioned and the shower did not have a curtain to avoid splashing all water outside. The mini-fridge was very very old, could potentially be renewed.
Lovely little hotel - staff and owners just delightful. It's a bit off the beaten track but easy enough by bus. However, car is probably better in this area to get the most out of it. Breakfast was really good - good variety. pool area nice and clean. Views amazing.
It was perfect - we knew it was a bit out the way and should have done more research. But what we wanted it for for a few nights it was fine. Also for those without a car - its a big hill to walk up so something to consider
Very nice quiet neighborhood. Also, although the hotel was fully booked, on several occasions we were the only ones by the pool, so you could really enjoy the silence. Good breakfast. Nice view. The owners dog. :)It's better to rent a car, because the hotel is a bit far from the center, but it's also okay to travel by bus. It's about 15 minutes walk to the bus stop. So if you are not scared of a little hike, you do not need a car. :) We didn't rent a car, and it was okay.I am not giving the maximum score, because the room was just a little weary.
