Fairytale Elafonisi

Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared just for us. The place is quiet and charming, with rustic stone walls that give it a special touch. Parking is available outside. The host was very kind and gave us great tips on how to reach Elafonissi Beach.

Lovely room and location paired with excellent helpful cheerful hosts = sheer delight! We should have planned enough time to spend many more nights in that tranquil space.

The water in the shower came out very very hot, a little too much for kids, just be careful

Beautiful location and close to Elafonisi Beach. Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Easy to find parking.

It was a bit confusing as we weren’t sure if there was a common area , opportunity for breakfast etc.

I wish I had more time to stay there! The owner was helpful with directions when Booking.com changed the location at the last second. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was wonderful to meet the owner. She gave me a delicious piece of homemade cake.

The shower was tiny. I barely fit through the opening. The room backed to a common area/patio that looked beautiful. I had the window open versus running the air conditioning. There were people on the patio talking quite late, and I had to wake up exceptionally early. Multiple cats were fighting in the middle of the night. There were extremely bright lights in the common area that shone through the window, and lights in the room and bathroom that you couldn't shut off. It was so bright I had to sleep at the foot of the bed.

Beautiful traditional stone house in a small charming mountain village, nicely appointed with authentic furnishings. The apartment was very comfortable and the people who own and manage the place were warm, friendly and tremendously helpful in telling us about the village and local beaches, places to eat and places to buy locally made/grown products. They gave us cake made by their mother in law when we arrived (so delicious!) and breakfast included honey from their father in law and tomatoes from their farm. A lovely place to stay if you want to get away from the tourists and stay in a place that is authentic, beautiful, gracious, and unspoiled. We will definitely come back!

Booked 2 units for just 1 night. Amazing hosts and we had rhe entire place to ourselves. Too cold and windy to use the pool but that was expected this time of year. Hosts treated us with a dessert on arrival. Was a perfect spot to stay to visit Elafonisi. Wish we had stayed longer

The people operating the property were very helpful and friendly. We arrived pretty late at night. Once we called the number, the lady appeared immediately. She was also so nice to offer us a cake. I definitely enjoyed the stay there.

Outstanding hospitality. Lovely rooms in the heart of Cretan mountains. You’ll wake up to fresh air, lemon trees and an amazing breakfast (recommended to get that extra breakfast!) We loved our stay here and would definitely come back here.

Beautiful location in a little village,a quiet place where you can switch off from a busy city. Beautiful house in a Greek style with a stone walls that is so cooling as well when it’s hot outside ,the garden in gorgeous as well

Cozy spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing delicious breakfast, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful.

The place.was very clean and the host was excepcional. Very friendly and received us with cake and warm welcome. The breakfast was also great, almost as it was done just for us. At the end shs even told us to take what we.didnt eat for.the trip.

Downside was only the village, which didnt have any taverns. If we wanted to eat, we.would need a 5-10 minutes drive in narrow roads.

The owners are lovely, kind and genuinely good people, friendly and ready to assist.Their breakfast is delicious and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

It can be improved in the cleaning, and the bathroom is a little bit uncomfortable, quite small especially the shower, maybe some shelves can be added to have some please to put your bathroom stuff

A really nice place to stay , just 20 minutes drive from Elafonisi beach. The hostesses were very welcoming and kind! Also the breakfast was delicious with traditional dishes from Crete ❤️ Definitely recommend it! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

Such lovely hosts. Very thoughtful. Accomodation extremely comfortable and felt like a Cretan experience in a lovely village. Highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful - hosts, breakfast, location

We stayed at a beautiful and clean stone built room. The owner was very friendly and kind, and the breakfast was amazing, both in quality and quantity. Delicious locally produced items, such as pies yogurt and honey.

Google maps gave us somewhat confusing directions, but the village is tiny, so if you drive around you find it.

Beautiful and quiet setting, wonderful and welcome hosts, fresh and delicious breakfast. Close to beautiful beaches!

If you are fearful of heights, this area could be a difficult one to stay in. The driving was tricky, but well worth it for us!
