Villa de Elciego

People work there are pretty good and that is about it.

The location was quite poor. Although it is close to 2 local sights, it does not warrant the location where it is. It would serve its purpose better if it were to locate in an area more open. No wall in room was straight, obvious from the tile work.

Everything was great. Nice and friendly staff.Excellent location and nice food and tapas.

I wanted to see the Bodega Marques de Riscal and perfect location. A lovely surprise that it is such a beautiful and historic village.

Amazing value for money - we booked fairly last minute and got a great deal. The location is right in the centre of a beautiful town. There is a restaurant down stairs which was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area!

Bad

I would not recommend this place to anyone if you are on holiday. The bar below, where breakfast is served, is open late and frequented by noisy people shouting and singing until late at night. The reception is non-existent. You won't be able to sleep because of everyone's shouting from evening until morning. Wifi was not even given to us. I will definitely not be returning.

For me it was a bad choice. We arrived and received a poor welcome. Come back a 2.30 pm your room is not ready. OK we do that. The entrance to the hotel was through a packed restaurant and we arrived back at 3.45pm. Nobody was around to give us keys. Eventually the manager appeared and show us to our room. The room was so noisy and all through the night it was a job to sleep with people passing our room.

Nothing. Dreadful place. We did not stay the two nights and left the following day.

Restaurant and hotel are the most lively part of town. Breakfast (extra a la carte) were good and great staff

Town can be noisy because of drunk tourist but Rioja is all about wine… so it happens…

Wonderful location in the center of Elciego. Nice room that is clean and has all facilities.

Wifi did not function on the room and we were charged a higher price than mentioned on Booking.com. Also the dinner was overpriced for what we got.

The hotel is very well located, just next to the main square and the touristic information office, where you have an outdoor parking where you can leave your car. The room is very spacious and was very clean. The mattress was quite nice but the pillow was hard as wood. The bathroom is also very spacious and even has an hairdryer. There were some weird smells close to elevator and in the reception floor.

Room furniture is very outdated and an upgrade would be advisable, taking into consideration that each room costs 70€/night. My bed had a very hard pillow that made sleeping a bit harder.
