Hotel La Caleche

La Caleche in Durbuy is a nice hotel with restaurant, The rooms are fancy and have all kind of gadgets with light and window shutters, pretty cool. The rooms are nice, but make sure you don't order a small room :-) Breakfast is great and there is enough to pick from.Restaurant/bar is nice to have.

The room is small but very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and informative. The location is perfect.

We loved the location. The room was a bit small but thats okay. The bed was super comfy. We didn't hear any noise from the other rooms or outside. The hotel is dog friendly which is great because we travel with our dog.

The parking could've be explained a bit better as it took us good 10 mins to find it. If you do drive make sire to get proper explanation from the staff.

The actual room was very small with no sitting area at all and the bathroom was up a narrow flight of stairs.

Very modern room interiors and the rooms are very clean.. The hotel is located just in the city center. We also had breakfast at their restaurant. The prices are generally high in Durbuy. Rather than paying 16 eur just for a toast in another place, having an open buffet breakfast here is a good option.

Room was very nice with nice bathroom. The staff was very friendly and location was great. Beds were comfortable as well.

Parking cost money during the day which was pretty expensive and we thought it was free. Also the air ventilation wasn't working well so the room got very hot at night. Opening the windows was not really an option because of rain or mosquitoes.

Very nice, tide and comfortable room. The breakdast is very good. The hotel's retaurant is one of the best choices in Durbuy.

The pet's fee was not included on the reservation price while booking and payed extra on the check out.

We had an hour wait to eat at the restaurant, seems there was an issue at the kitchen… though when the food arrived was delicious. Rooms not well soundproof.

Great location, right in the town center. Plenty of parking, that shouldn't be a problem. There's no traditional reception as in big chain hotels, the reception is at the restaurant downstairs itself. Rooms are not big but comfy enough, sound isolation is okay-ish as I could hear my next door neighbor snoring. Rooms, at least mine, are non traditional as the bathroom is on the second floor, so yes, you get a two floors suite. Keep that in mind for people with mobility issues. Might be interesting to ask if they have other options. All-in all was a pleasant stay, surroundes by nature, nice restaurants, beautiful river walks and a pretty small medieval town.

Take-in at arrival… very unpersonal, probably due to business period on Sat. evening. But even afterwards no effort was done to rectify e.g. by asking if all was OK …

The room was very clean and the shower was fantastic! The automatic self closing Velux window when it rained was very handy

The bed wasn't the comfiest but ok and the energy saving lights cut off too quickly

The rooms were very modern and comfortable with excellent fascilities. In addition there was covered parking available which was of great use.

Excellent location, very modern rooms (automated window blinds etc), clean.

Some rooms have the bathroom on an upper floor, and the stairs are quite steep. Moreover there is no door dividing the room and the bathroom.

Excellent, friendly staff - good breakfast, choice of warm beverage, great eggs! Airconditioned rooms with lots of domotica

Didn't manage to find how to switch off the light in the shower - admittedly : we did not ask either :-)
