- BE AWARE OF DOUBLE CHARGED!!!!!!When we arrived at the evening we had a nice guy at the reception. But next day when we check out there was a rude girl. Obviously she doesn’t want to say hi or talk to us at all and when we leave she double charged us. And I try to tell her that it was charged. All her answers were ‘ I don’t know I don’t speak English or any other language ‘ so I had to use translator to talk to her and she was refusing to communicate and giving and attitude. She insist the charge from booking is an deposit even I try to show her she doesn’t want to check. I told her it never happened before with other hotels she gave me an ‘so what ‘ face and not even making a sound. So we are going through costumer services now. It’s absolutely a sham for such a nice hotel with a person who doesn’t know what she is doing and not professional at all !
- Car parking is always a little tight.
- The breakfast was a bit chaotic. The coffee machine worked randomly and the hot breakfast and cold cuts were not replenished until I asked! But perfectly fine for €14.

Easy to find and comfortable accommodation for an overnight stay.
Car parking is always a little tight.
Location, friendly staff, nice & clean rooms, restaurant
Dourdan is Such a lovely beautiful village with a great craft beer shop (that also sells wine) around the corner. Full of friendlyLocals that made us feel very welcome. Hotel was beautiful with big comfy rooms and very accommodating with our 13 week old puppy! Will definitely return. Was concerned it was a Best Western but honestly really good. The staff were lovely. Dinner in the restaurant is exceptional.
The breakfast was a bit chaotic. The coffee machine worked randomly and the hot breakfast and cold cuts were not replenished until I asked! But perfectly fine for €14.
Amazing location, beautiful room, safe parking, delicious breakfast. We only stayed for one night whilst travelling back to the UK from Spain. The location was perfect. We event managed to go to a market in the morning. Loved it. Will definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect
Restaurant was good. The food was good. There was a good atmosphere, with an open fire.
Beds a little small and utilitarian.
The staff was super helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately upon arrival it turned out wifi isn't really available in the rooms and only in the public spaces, the restaurant was closed as well and the room clearly had a humidity problem with old single glazing. At a lower rate this would have been acceptable but for the price we paid we were expecting more.
Comfy bed. Very clean. Good breakfast. Central location, lovely small town.
Cramped parking, difficult to find as down small lane.Room too hot and air conditioning set to 18C and wouldn't reduce. Opened window but very noisy from event downstairs.
Beautiful building and friendly staff. Though we were just staying for the night as a short stop while traveling, the location is right in the center of town and parking is very convenient.
Room was nice but a bit too loud.
Very good
‘Very good’, however, the hotel spams you repeatedly with long emails in French (how about english?) about saving energy, ‘demanding’ you fill in a survey and if you dont, they just assume you agree and give one towel for 2 people. Very arrogant and it has only to do with saving money for the hotel.
The history behind it and the beauty of the castle and its surroundings. Also, the towel heater in the bathroom!Room size was great after upgrading to the suite, we had a beautiful terrace.
The food in the restaurant was not as good as advertised or expected, but overall okay.
Restaurant for dinner & breakfast was very good & we ate there every night. The staff were very helpful & the location was good in the centre of town.
The town hall clock in the centre does chime on the hour & half hour all through the night so if you are a light sleeper, you may find this a bit bothering....but it is obviously nothing to do with the hotel!
Nice friendly service
Expensive. £160 for a one night stay in late September is over priced for what you get.
Quiet location, charming staff.
WiFi signal in 104 was extremely poor (please fit a WiFi extension)No kettle as advertised on booking.com in 104, just a Nespresso machine with a few odd pods. Most hotels have a selection of tea & coffee with sugar, milk and an actual metal spoon… not cheap wooden stirrers provided just to satisfy environmentalists by eliminating single use plastic stirrers, which have no place in a decent hotel anyway. The huge sofa bed is extremely difficult to sit on comfortably due to the depth of the seat and only a few cushions, if you’re 2.2mtr tall it’s probably ok.The USB outlets did not work, managed to charge my phone by connecting to the back of the TV.The room decoration was very poor, only a single drawing above the bed in a 2 room layout, just plain beige walls that created no atmosphere at all. When I pay €175 (breakfast not included) for one night, I expect everything to work properly, be comfortable and enjoy a nice environment… not feel as though I’ve been ripped off!
Excellent restaurant, comfy beds and a working AC (not always the case in France)
Person on reception was not too friendly
Room fine , very clean , very comfortable bed.Restaurant really nice. Restaurant staff exceptional. Good breakfast very reasonably priced.
Towels could have been bigger.Decor a little dated
Lovely, helpful reception staff, easy relaxed check in.Great restaurant on site, lovely food and wine out on the terrace.
Good restaurant, decent sized rooms.
A little faded in parts!
Our room was very comfortable overlooking the church. Dinner was very good, sitting outside on the terrace. We didn't stay for breakfast as we had a long journey ahead.
There was nothing we didn't like!
Lovely building and location. Room was spacious and comfortable, there was also a nice restaurant.
A little bit expensive
