Hotel Eremitage

Great Hotel, charming small town, 1/2 hour by the yellow train which stops 2 Min from Hotel.Great breakfast.

Very nice hotel in middle of Arlesheim. Has good underground car parking (if you are driving), although a little pricey.

Staff was excellent, rooms very comfortable.

Breakfast

Owners and staff are great. Breakfast is excellent . Beds were perfect , no back or neck pain , comfortable. Very happy we stayed there. There’s more expensive hotels that could learn from them .

It’s perfect as it is

The staff was fantastic. They helped too much with lot of info about the city and give us a ticket 24 h for public transport free.

clean great hosts great breakfast

room too hot/ we finally realized we had to open window at night. Would stay again!!

Lovely stafff, super comfy beds and doona, great location

Excellent location for Basel , on site parking, friendly welcome, good restaurant and nice breakfast .

Close enough to our new home

Parking was hard to and and expensive

Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, very quiet

Super nice people. Good breakfast. Easy to find from the tram.

Breakfast is good, room could use a bit of renovation, but overall clean and comfortable - excellent and friendly staffs!

Very clean. Excellent breakfast.

The plug in the washbasin did not close properly.

Really friendly staff. Great value for money and super comfortable beds. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Arlesheim.

Location and cleanness

No sports channels on TV

Secure garage. Very friendly multilingual reception. Lift. Room well equipped. Bathroom with bathtub, and small soap, shampoo, face cloth, etc, frequently not supplied these days in hotels. Good continental breakfast.

There was nothing we did not like.

Staff could not do enough for us. Friendly, super helpful. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the kitchen staff was very good. The outside garden was lovely and I’m only sorry that we did not have the opportunity to have a drink in the garden or have a dinner at the hotel.

The owner's family are all kind, friendly and helpful. The sweetest surprise is the young couple speak Mandarin. The husband was in China for 4 years and the wife is from China. The food is very good, both breakfast and during the day. Very good location. 1 minute walk from the tram station. Beautiful mountains and lake nearby. Thoughtful advice on sightseeing.

The hotel was very nice (it's upstairs above a Coop grocery store). Everything was fine. Parking is available underground in a public car park for the Coop (as well as the hotel). Very convenient.

Nothing to complain about

Location, cleanliness, our Host Marc Marles was fantastic! he was extremely welcoming and very accommodating in every way. the breakfast buffet is fantastic! I can’t say enough about this little gem. If you are ever in Basel you must stay.
