Hotel Lavaux

View is perfect face to the lake. Room is clean, just the bathroom need to repaint , cos the shower cabin paint have some mold. Feel less comfortable.

More shower gel could be easier to take shower. One tube is not enough .Give one more water bottle for 2 people.

Location is fantastic, right at the lake; it is also right at the road and train, but windows are tight and noise doesn’t get through. Beds are comfortable, staff is very pleasant, parking might be full sometimes, but there are other places reserved for the hotel on the street.We have come several times to this hotel, and that is -I think- the best review one can make… :) And we plan to come back!

Breakfast is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel, specially thinking of its location in a cheese-makers country, but the person in charge was very kind!

I like parking, nice location with easy access to lausanne, beautiful lake view. There is good fridge, kettel in the room. Room is clean room, comfortable bed. Pleasent service. 24h reception. Good restaurnat

It is a fake king bed as there is a connections of 2 materacees, so is not really king bed.

Nice room. good location and close to Lausanne. I was on the non lake side so no traffice noise what so ever.Small but nice fitness. Good bed.

The heating system made noise so I turned it off.

Parking was an issue if arriving late when the restaurant was open.

This is our second time to stay at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the location is great. It’s great to get free passes to ride the local train. It’s also nice to have free parking. Views of the lake and vineyards are wonderful and everything in the room is very comfortable. The air conditioning works well, which was very important during a hot spell. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Food at the restaurant was just mediocre. I would suggest going down to the Vevey to find a restaurant. It’s a short train ride.

Location, Parking Situation

Cleanliness (fungus in the bathroom), overall shape of the rooms not well maintained anymore, empty minibar

The property is located in a nice place right on the lake and has a beautiful walk up the wineries.

A couple of times our rooms were not cleaned / tidied up, and when addressed to hotel staff, they were not willing to do much, only after I went ourselves to the reception and asked for clean towels, they acted like they are doing a favor and gave them to me. Moreover, when asked why this happened they try to make up justifications like the cleaning is only once every other day.. Also, AC didn’t work, we had a fan in our room, but it wasn’t much help. They were not willing to call the technician to fix the AC.

The absolute highlight was the majestic view from the window – truly breathtaking and worth every penny, especially on a sunny day. The room was comfortable and had everything needed, including a nice toilet. Sound insulation from the outside (despite train tracks nearby) was superb. Service was good and as expected. The free on-site parking was also very convenient.

The walls were quite thin, so you could hear the neighbors easily (though ours weren't too noisy). The breakfast selection was a bit limited.

The hotel is very well located right next to the vineyards and several local vineyards with wine tasting.

The hotel was in an ideal location to visit the lake area by car. The room facilities were adequate. The room was ideally sized and very clean. The view from the balcony was especially magnificent! I highly recommend visiting the Lavaux region during your visit.

View needs to be seen to be believed. Shame the room smelt of cigarettes but manager swapped it immediately.Meatballs in restaurant were outstanding.

We booked a Family Room and got two adjacent 2 person rooms which was most welcome and the best format for kids at any age.

The family rooms do not face the lake.

Noisy road, train line. Tv not working, burnt myself on the broken bedroom kettle. Breakfast was not upto scratch, the place has gone down hill since I last stayed there several years ago.
