    Pros +

    • The facility, AC and heating, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfy and very clean. Walls felt very soundproof too.
    • The place was peaceful bed was comfortable and clean and cosy. Its located in a peaceful village closed to paris. I loved the garden. At the breakfast i had one of the best croissant i ever had.
    • Room was spacious and had a bathtub.

    Cons -

    • It was hard to find Bolt/Ubers from Disney paris back to the hotel. 30 Euros that the app generates won't get you a ride at night from Disney Paris. Had to pay 50 euros. Train was estimated to be 100+ mins from Disney Paris to Mitry Station.
    • It needs a car to be able to be able to go to paris.
    • Not very clean. Restaurant closed. Very few dining alternatives on a Sunday. The place is clearly set up for various conventions, but was virtually empty when I was there. Its “mountain lodge” decor was surprising and not very appealing.

The arrival outside of the establishment

if you think you are arriving in a 4 star hotel, well you will be very disappointed... the exterior of the hotel is very pretty but when you arrive in your room, well I say that it is more of a 2 star and I explain why bathroom with a bathtub and a shower be careful you can slip in the bathtub because there is no anti-slip to get out of the bathtub elderly people be careful it slips a lot, carpet very well with urine stains certainly because of animals, no power outlet except on a small desk for the kettle the coffee cups two small paper cups so you only make instant coffee and the cup becomes soft and very hot, no safe in the room you have to go to reception (really practical isn't it?) very comfortable bed I must admit in my opinion the management of this establishment should spend more time because the maintenance is really to be seen, finally no catering offered in the evening because the restaurant is closed ok but please plan a minimum because you will have to do between 10 and 15 kilometers to perhaps find a passable place, sorry I'm not used to being negative but I think there are 2 and 3 star hotels that are much better served than these so-called 4 star hotels (perhaps in previous years the management was much closer to the important details)

The room and bathroom were big and beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in while traveling Europe. The garden was pleasant. It had easy access to CDG.

The restaurant was never open and the next closest restaurant was a town over, not within walking distance. Also, there were no laundry services.

The historic location is neat. The staff are so friendly! The courtyard is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious!

The property needs some attention as far as cleaning and updating and pest control. The carpet in our room was pretty stained throughout the room. White carpet probably is not the best choice. The shower head was dirty. Wall paper is peeling. Found cockroaches and ants in the room during stay. The pool had hair and parts of the cover floating in it the entire time we were here. Not very nice to swim in.

    Proximity to airport.

STAFF WAS AWFUL. They don’t care about tourism at all. We managed to book and arrive at hotel at 9 pm after flight was just cancelled, for the second day in a row. They couldn’t serve us in restaurant - we were starving so they offered us room service. We decided to do that as we didn’t have a car and the closest town was a few miles away. The menu looked high end as well, a dish costing 20-30 euros. After waiting an hour, we received our “room service” which was premade/prepackaged jars of food warmed in the microwave! We were so hungry and decided to try since it was now 10:30 pm. It was terrible. We sent it back and the staff tried to have us pay the 76 euros (yes, for soup and 2 entrees) multiple times after showing up at the door and calling. The next morning they still wanted us to pay. It was so bad! Out of all the places we have stayed in the EU, this took the cake for worst ever.

Close to the airport. Definitely has a nice French feel.

Elevators not convenient for all rooms, as the layout of the property is to get everyone a view from their room. Therefore, all rooms are on the inside of the building, looking out into the courtyard, which is beautiful. You may just have to walk or cut through the garden to get to an elevator.

Charming property close to airport and perfect for a short stay! Loved all the artwork, garden and rooms!

We were on the go so did not eat there.

Staff should make the effort to put people, especially seniors close to front desk. Some rooms are a real long walk to get to.

Except for the breakfast room employee, the staff were very friendly. Beautiful garden with a pool. Beautiful building with victorian interior and peaceful place. The nature and environment around the hotel is very stunning. Cute little centre by ~30 min walking along the river and fields.

The breakfast room employee wouldn't let us sit at a table for four, which would have had more space, even though the entire room was completely empty and there were only two of us. He immediately brought the bill and was a bit rude.

This is our second time at this accommodation. We very much enjoy the quiet location (but still within decent driving distance to Paris, airport and Disney) and the restaurant (particularly dinner). The rooms are of good size, preserving the manor character but still clean and comfortable. EV charging stations are available free of charge which was a big plus for us.

I recall the breakfast being of better quality than what we found this time. We would have liked some fresh vegetables and the bacon looked a bit off.

Friendly staff, lovely large and comfy room

Wine and food costs quite high

Convenient location for stopover after flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.

My colleague was charged almost double the rate for the room for accommodating her pets following a transatlantic flight. On a previous stay the charge was included in the room rate.Rooms are not soundproof, which is particularly problematic for travellers arriving from North American flights.

    Comfortable rooms, impressive building

Lack of an open bar or restaurant on a Friday, despite receiving an email before arrival to the contrary. It was really inconvenient for us on this occasion.

Great location near CDG. Quiet and beautiful setting

    Breakfast was expensive

    7WernerPosted on: 10-20-2024

Breakfast buffet is very nice. Many choices and excellent food ! Also the bar was quick to serve a drink.

In general the place is a bit dated. Meaning that it is time to maintain the place. Given the prices charged, you expect a top of the line hotel. So when you see the hotel in reality is "past glory". So a bit TLC will do miracles for this place and bring the experience in line with the prices...
