Hotel La Quinta de Santillán

Location is good, very close to the main square and not far from sporting facilities, restaurants, etc.

There was no light bulbs in both the nightstand lamps. There was no mosquito net on the window, so opening the window mean flies and mosquitos would get in. Only one power outlet in the whole room, and right next to the bathroom door - very far from the bed.

Beautiful old building and spacious rooms. Easy to arrive and enter at any time. Really good response rate by chat for arranging our arrival. Very convenient location in lovely historical Chinchón.

We had a very large van and it was a bit of a tight fit getting in and out of the parking lot.

The Hotel is actually ok.Totally spoilt by the staff attitude.

Should you use Booking.com for reservations at this hotel triple check your booking! We arrived the three of us for two rooms, only to be greeted by a long wait (20 minutes +) & questions of how we booked (all in Spanish!) Nothing wrong with the language piece but the overall attitude of the flu ridden lady checking us in was awful. Trying to clarify with Booking.com is virtually impossible.As for the stay, rooms are plentiful and clean. The hotel is located approx 5 to 10 minutes from the main bull-ring. This is where there are plenty of restaurants/bars located. Car parking is in a parking area approx 100 metres from the hotel. Easy access & was safe to park. We had dinner & breakfast outside of the hotel. I have no idea whether the hotel was providing breakfast. Having had our check-in experience we would not stay here again. Overall, should the customer service improve it is worth considering. However, other hotels in Chinchon provide a better experience.

Comfortable pillows, great staff. We liked the location more local than touristy.

The toilet paper was aweful and very small rolls. It would be nice if they ran their dining area.

Location was within easy walking distance of plaza mayor where restaurants are located. Room had everything we needed.

At the moment there is no restaurant for breakfast although I believe there are plans for this.

The hotel is an old traditional house which is very typical in the area. The receptionist was extremely nice. The rooms are big and it's very easy to park the car in the hotel park.

Mariluz was a life saver. I got injured and she went above and beyond what I could have expected. The hotel is very lucky to have her. I totally recommend this hotel.
