    • Location was great for accessing ski lifts. Staff very friendly and helpful.
    • Great location looking over the valley and the mountain beyond.
    • Internet nowadays is everywhere, why pay 27 euros for only 3 access codes? that is hard any usage costs for the residents, Why paying so much extra for it? Also, we asked is we could a cleaning set, because it was available at the reception desk but they told us those packages were only for short stay e.g. 1-4 days and not for week. Why?Laundry we need to bring to the racks ourselves, could be included with the check-out as well. The swimmingpool was overcrowded, no place to change and the jacuzzi was constantly occupied with way too many people. Also the Sauna was so tiny, the smallest I ever seen , where you are also packed when 5 people were inside. Also the hygiene of the apartment is fully depending of the previous occupants of the apartments, so standard service is not what you normally might expect from a average holiday rental like this vacation residents.

    Cons -

    • You have to pay extra for everything, towels, wifi in apartment, parking, cleaning pack. Kids in hot tub, would have been nice to have had some adult only time set aside for the pool.More coat hooks to hang things on as well as hangars in the wardrobes
    • It was the height of season but it was too expensive for the quality of the room.We also pre-booked sheets, towels and WiFi and those extras never came our way.

Location was just great - a short walk to town and to the lifts and just down from the bus stop.

No-one was there when we checked in, despite arranging a late check in. No-one answered the phone or messages so we had no room for the first night! After travelling for 13 hours with two kids! (We managed to grab a key that was left from someone who had checked out, otherwise it would have been a disaster).Hot tub & sauna permanently overtaken by groups of teenagers so hard to access.

Nice location, shuttle bus nearby! Cozy apartment, nice view!

Sauna and ski lockers were a bit too small!Washingmachine very loud ?

Lovely basic appartment with most of the things you need for a comfortable stay, exceptional clean, good location to the town, 10 min walk into town.

Bed was very hard and uncomfortable, no tin opener, potato peeler or cheese grater, main light in the room wasnt working, also paid 64 euros for parking at the hotel but because there is a steep hill to get up to the main road from the appartments we couldn't use the parking as the road is not useable without snow chains in the winter, we got stuck trying to get up the hill on the first day, after that we left the car at the top of the hill for free for the rest of the week, I think management should look at clearing the road better,

The location was pretty nice. A 5-10 minute walk to the closest ski-lift and the skibus stopped right before the house. The sauna and pool area were nice but pretty crowded.

We visited with a group of 14: one apartment for 6 people and one for 8. These apartments were really small, also due to the sleeping-couch that is necesary for 2 people in each apartment. There was also no storage space or any closets at all. I wouldn't recommend going here with large groups. The ski-lockers are also too small for 6/8 people. We couldn't fit more than 5 pairs of skis in them.

The location is great, direct access to the ski bus, Parking is a bit limited. The staff is friendly, and the appartments are spacious, certainly for French understanding. You have everything you need for a cool ski trip. Bakery is 5 minutes walking distance. Supermarket 10 minutes by car. All over, the place is clean and well managed. They lend you stuff like raclette or fondue for free. They are ok with pets.

The spa is definitely smaller than in the pictures, the wood in the sauna is rotten. Most other guests were misbehaving there and nobody controlled for it. The ski wardrobes are clearly too small, same for the tables in the appartments, the fridge was super mini for 8 people. Lots of the lights were broken, no good light in the kitchen. wifi at extra costs except for in the lobby. slow wifi. you have to pay for the garage even if your car does not fit the garage. the driveway to the venue is slippery when snowing - and they don't prep the driveway really. Cleaning service is not included and super expensive (probably b/o not much staff avalable, but you can clean the rooms in an hour). No wardrobes really.

We had stunning views from the balcony. Size of room was enough for us as a couple. The location was perfect for us to travel between France and Switzerland for day trips.Staff were very friendly, always had a smile.

Would have been better if cleaning products were provided as we were expected do our own cleaning before checkout.

Pool was quiet and kids loved it, nice to have hot tub too. Reception staff friendly. Nice and quiet location, only 10 minute walk into centre of Chatel.

We were expecting full bed linen including duvets but were only given sheets and pillow cases and had to make beds on arrival. There were no duvets and we were provided with "prison esque" brown blankets that did not look like they had been cleaned. Also being expected to clean the whole apartment including hoovering and mopping floors, wiping window panes was way too much at the end of the holiday. You can pay the extortionate 65 Euro to have it cleaned but you still had to do partial cleaning yourself so simply not worth it.

    6NealPosted on: 1-16-2023

The price of 400 EUR for a 6 bed apartment, for 3 nights was quite reasonable. (13 Jan - 15 Jan 2023).There was a kitchen, Pool, and Sauna. But these are all very minimal. Underground parking availble at 5 EUR per night.

There were lots of extra hidden charges. For example: Towels, WIFI, Television, Parking, City taxes. It was not walking distance to the ski lifts, the website reads 500m but in reality it is 1.4km. The spa facilities were always very busy, and the closing time is too early at 19:00. The spa was also different to the photos, as we stayed in the apartment block, whereas the photos are from the hotel. The room was dirty, with hairs all over the bedding.

the location is fantastic, staff very helpful. very basic but value for money

The choice of bedding, the sheets supplied were obviously very clean but still very old fashioned & using blankets which are obviously not cleaned every time. As mentioned it’s great value for money you pay for what you get. Maybe a few more door hocks & hangers would be helpful as well.

    4IngridPosted on: 3-22-2022

The location is good to walk downhill into the center which was very lively around 5.30pm

Not very sound proof. Unfortunately there were noisy groups of people and as the reception is then closed and no staff around, difficult to tell drunk people to keep it down!

    8SchubePosted on: 3-13-2022

All cars were nicely in the garage, the sauna nice hot but a little bit small ( 6 people are fitting in ) , it’s a shame that it is closing already at 19:00.

The chalet is near to bobsled track. This is great for children. We had a pleasant view on the Linga. We appreciated the clean rooms. The bathroom is small but charming. It is a real "chalet" ambiance. The radiators work perfect. We say thank you to the courageous and smiling staff that helped for all the things that went wrong in the very few hours they are allowed to work. We could park close. The outside ski room is a great idea. The pool with a part outside is great (but fresh).

We had to wait 1h30 to check-in, staying in the cold. The rooms and table are small, this is the minimum to live in. There is not a lot of cupboard. The internet connection is 3MB, and disconnect at every session. There is no oven, only micro-wave. The pillows were ok, but no duvet (Only woolen blankets, it remember me the army lol). The pool is nice but still fresh. Everybody was happy to go in the hot jacuzzi. But there is one 4 places jacuzzi for the 5 houses (more than 80 flats i think). The garage is max 1m99. So with our bus, we had to stay outside, but we paid the same.

There was parking on site and the view from the balcony was lovely.

Didn't enjoy having to make own beds. We were expected to clean before we left but there were no cleaning supplies. There wasn't even any soap to wash hands with. The sofa was worn and there were hairs left on the blankets for the beds. The spa - a huge reason why we booked it, was closed on Saturday for cleaning! Won't be returning.
