Hotel Montecallini - Adult Only 14

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.Staff was extremely attentive and accommodating.The in-house restaurant Mirto Bianco was exceptional.Overall a score of 8 out of 10

The showers obviously were the regular cubicle Italian. They were hard to maneuver And unfortunately were moldy and the jet sprays were clogged. Showers should be replaced with larger open kind.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We loved the garden and spending time on the sunbeds, the pool was amazing.

Most of the hotel guests are elderly people that is not a problem of course, it just came a bit as an expected surprise.

A lovely accommodation- very clean, comfortable, good service. The building is beautiful. The breakfast is exceptional with a large selection of sweet and savoury breakfast options. There are lots of fruit, eggs, yogurt, pastries, bread, meat, cheeses, etc. Breakfast includes many quality coffee options. Staff were very helpful at all times of the day. Location was great and served as a good base for exploring the area. The pool was fantastic and we spent every afternoon relaxing and refreshing with drinks by the pool side. The hotel restaurant food was excellent and we love that the vegetables come straight from the garden on site. The free parking is an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Clearer info about spa services - the masseuse had to come in from outside and the massage was in your room rather than in a spa in the hotel . However the masseuse was excellent !The dinner menu was relatively expensive

Pool, great rooms, breakfast, location and staff

Perfect location if you are looking for a quiet place to recharge but still close enough to visit the Salento region by car. Plenty of parking space. Lovely breakfast area (inside and outside) with a combination of Italian and continental breakfast.

I liked The Slyle and architecture of the entire structure, almost everything was new inside the rooms (with a touch of tech also) and oustise, the Hall is wonderful with that touch of mixed modern-old Salento Style. Everything is well maintained and very clean, the staff is very focused on cleanliness - very good service. Beds where good quality and confortable, Breakfast was stellar. Staff was kind and helping, the organization in general very guest-friendly and easy-going. The Pool area is very green and tranquile. There's a Big and beautiful Car Parking area inside the structure, surrounded by Olive Trees and by the typical sandstone walls. Relaxed Check-out times. The Value/Price ratio is quite high.

There's no Gym, even a small one would be good. In my room (don't know the others) I could hear some noises from the corridor and from other rooms early in the morning, but nothing unbearable, it was not enough to stop me from sleeping in those comfy beds. Lighting in the room could be a little warmer (more towards yellow, but it's just our a taste). Breakfast time could be extended by an hour or so. All that said the Hotel is great and with a gym + very little improvements it could be a FIVE STARS structure.

The sea view suite with 65m is really nice. We got as welcome a Prosecco served in the room.

The coffee machine at the breakfast buffet deliver poor coffee. If you asked you will get a good coffee from the bar.

Staff was very nice, helpful and professional. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Food was simply amazing for both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend the place!

The swimming pool was wonderful.The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious.It was a short walk to the rocky beach which was frequented by locals and to the small supermarket.

The air conditioning was a little tricky to program.

Amazing place for some quiet days of retreat. Rooms are spacious, tidy and clean, breakfast was amazing and the staff, kind and helpful. We highly recommend it

Pool & garden were fab, they brought out more sun beds if those out were taken, the garden is a lovely place to relax. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful

Perfect location, to explore both of the sea sides of Salento peninsula with a short drive (Ionian & Adriatic sea)Breakfast was amazing, and the hotel had gorgeous nature and settings around, staff also was very nice & helpful.

Excellent staff, nothing was too much trouble. My wife is Celiac so finding places that can cater is sometimes an Issue, this was not the case at Hotel Montecallini as they provided gluten free and this was done to ensure no issues. We had a great room, clean and well appointed. Lots of car park space as well. Would definitely go back

Amazing breakfastAttention to details

Everything was perfect, but if we want to be really picky:- the bin in the room had not been emptied- the hand towel holder had very little room between wall and sink

Pool area was great. Extensive breakfast, great bed.

Drinks a bit pricy

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant closed the day before we arrived although there are good local restaurants nearby. You do need a car.

Not being able to walk easily to restaurants and bars. No public transport or taxis.
