The view from the terrace is amazing. Good breakfast.

It was a bit dated but in general very nice.

Sea view from terace. Reach breakfast.

    Bathroom was ugly

    3CoralPosted on: 8-21-2023

Room size, balcony view and breakfast all excelled. The air conditioning worked well. Some of the reception was nice, helped arrange a taxi, let us check in early and let us leave our bags on check-out so we could spend more time at the beach.

As many of the reviews state, the structure is extremely outdated and could use some renovation. The bathroom is extremely decayed, very musty (mold perhaps?) the ceiling in the shower falling apart and the shower box had broken bits clearly taped together. The beds were OK and the linens were basic. Fine for just a one night stay, and honetly I only stayed because it was a last minute overnight trip but if you can plan in advance- stay elsewhere. The real damper on the stay was the abusive treatment at the hotel's bagno (paid beach area with umbrellas and lounge chairs):Do not book the bagno below the hotel. The staff there are aggressive, obnoxious and extremely rude and need therapy or counseling. The chairs cost 32eu for 2 hotel guests (45eu for non-guests), but they nickel and dime you elsewhere. Showers are usually offered at bagni but here they are coin operated, meaning you have to pay for the shower. I made mention I found this unusual and they proceeded to yell, insult and name call me. Very unprofessional, uncouth behavior from what should be adults. If I hadn't gone to the bagno, the hotel would have been tolerable for what it was for a night. This should not be rated as a 3 star hotel. Suggestions: Would have been nice to have a kettle or a coffee machine in the room as well as a mini-fridge. They should hire new staff for the bagno and not charge for the showers.

Breakfast was good. The hotel requires refurbishment. The staff are friendly and helpful

Wifi only available in reception area and not in rooms

Excellent views and helpful staff. Great coffee and variety of sweet pasteries for breakfast. Limited parking places next to the hotel, but extra are available nearby. Unique experience of riding the hotel elevator (max 2 person).

Smelly bathroom and very limited breakfast choices if you are not in the sweets. Outrageous prices for sunbeds at the "private" beach (not part of the hotel).

only it’s location although it is on a busy street with no sidewalks and a blind turn. very dangerous if on foot and especially at night.

it was sub-par. definitely not. 3 star hotel. nothing worked, including the shower which had no box but only a drain (not working) on the bathroom floor. very bad, easy to slip and fall. staff at reception is nasty and night porter is always on her personal dell phone attending to the customers while speaking away with someone on her phone. two women in the breakfast room very nice.

Dear miss or sir, I informed the hotel on the day that we hired the room that our rented car Had broke down and we hopefully be in. We could not the car was not possible to repair. I informed the hotel to cancel the next day. That we also booked. They said can only be canceled through booking.com. (Remember we were in the Middle of nowhere in Tuscany with police and waiting for a towingtruck in the evening and a lot of stress ) Late in the night and moretimes next day I tried to reach booking.com on the app To cancel the hotel. The app didn’t work on my and my wives phone. On both days. I hope after reading this you can see that it was impossible for us to stay at the hotel and give us some money back. We’re not insured. Greetings Wim Hoogstra

Dinner was like in the most elite restaurant. The cook is perfect. Waiters, staff are nice, and cleanliness reigns everywhere. The view from the room is unforgettable. Huge terrace above the sea. Great location! .

breakfast was weak, there is hardly any choice. there are many types of cakes and they were nice.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The front desk provided us with all the info we needed, and they let us stay at the facility after our check out time as a courtesy due to our train been few hours later. The cleaning crew was very friendly and attent. The room were always clean and fresh smelling each day. The restaurant staff were again friendly, caring, and willing to go an extra mile to ensure all our needs were meet! I want to said thank you to you all! We went there for visit my young nieces after the recent passing of my sister and you all made this time easier for all of us!

This is not something that I didn't like, but just a preference. The room pillow were very thin, I would have preferred them to be a little bit ticker.

The bedroom was simple but nice, the entrance to the balcony and terrace overlooking the beach and coastal front was perfect and close to the bedroom. Breakfast was nice, staff were polite.

The parking is offsite up the road 200 metres and requires you to walk more than 50 steps on the mountainside on a steep incline to get back to the hotel after parking and then doing it in reserve when checking out! Climbing up and then driving down to drop the gate swipe card off at reception. The reception is down a decent flight of stairs making it very difficult to carry luggage down before you can access the elevator to go up to your room. We had to unpack our suitcases in the middle of the car park because we could not get them down the stairs. The shower was directly over the toilet; not a great experience.

    Proximity to the sea

It was a very disappointing experience staying at the hotel. The expected room with balcony and view was not the one we were given. It did have a large balcony but the sea was not visible from the room itself. Everything in the hotel seemed tired and a bit worn or grubby. Lots of dust and areas not properly cleaned in our room. The shower had a nasty clinging shower curtain and the shower tray overfilled and overflowed onto the floor every time we used it. We were given one pillow each and these were thinner than the towels in the bathroom if they were folded over twice. We asked for more and these were provided. Disposable plastic items everywhere, even at breakfast. Breakfast was, for me, almost nonexistent, despite my alerting them before our stay to the fact that I needed gluten free products for breakfast. I was grudgingly given some individual pre wrapped tiny hard biscuits, although everyone else was well served with breads, focaccia, freshly baked cakes, etc. After my partner complained, the following morning the staff member in the breakfast room delivered a plate with one tiny pre wrapped bread roll to our table, leaving it there without a word nor any eye contact. The absence of any personal or friendly contact from the staff was actually the worst aspect of the stay. It’s always possible to find something to laugh about when things go wrong or are not as expected on a holiday, and we did that at first, but it honestly felt as though the staff at the hotel resented the guests for being there. I hope they enjoy a break over the winter and return to work refreshed and happy for next year’s guests.

Location and view from the rooms!

The staff has never been helpful at all and slightly arrogant.

    6ThomasPosted on: 8-2-2021

Hotel is outworn but the positioning on the beach with amazing view is priceless. Breakfast was disappointing, the rooms small and the lack of a refrigerator made the stay a bit complicated. We would return only for the view itself. If the hotel was upgraded the potential is huge. Having said that we enjoyed our stay very much.

Location was fine, but that´s all.

Quite prizy for this old hotel. Wifi works only at reception (It´s year 2021!) The beach was dirty :-/ Breakfast wasn’t bad,lot of sweets. Terrible coffee.

    7AlinaPosted on: 6-12-2021

The view was fabulous with huge balcony, beautiful colours in the room and nice design, and also discount to a restaurant

Unfortunately, was no fridge in the room (not ok for a 3 star hotel), the pillows were very small and old and the conditional air' filters hadn't been cleaned properly and a sharp smell was coming from it.

    9DanielPosted on: 5-27-2021

The location was perfect, close enough to the sea to hear the waves at night!

The bathroom seemed rather old, but it was clean and everything worked.
