The staff are wonderful as is the location!

The first room we were in was desperately in need of a remodel. The wall paper was peeling off the walls and there were holes in the bathroom walls among many other issues. We asked if a different room was available and were able to switch rooms after a couple of days. The second room was much better, but still in need of a refresh. The staff were really the best part of our stay, plus the breakfast was very good!

The breakfast was well presented, very nice staff. The cut fruit selection was depleted due to greedy guests.

The A/C in the bedroom was set on the lowest heat stand, it made terrible noise. When I tried to switch it to the cold stand it didn;t work. I informed the reception and he said - no it needs to be on that setting. I had 3 very uncomfortable nights, and as I flew in from the USA for a wedding - sleep was premium. I spoke to friends who also stayed at the hotel and they had the same issue. The rooms look much more modern on the images but when you come to the hotel, it is a mirage. the wall paper is correct but the rest is all 70/80ties. So it looks worn and not modern at all.

Location to the beach and town is great.

The entire hotel has great potential but all of it is run down. Staff was not that friendly when we mentioned that the air and power kept going out in the room.

Perfect location — walkable to everything you need or want! They even had a place for your toiletries in the shower that was not on the floor?????Dinner was very good and the breakfast was delicious (apparently they own a pastry shop, too)?

Great location, good pool and sauna

Staff is extremely friendly. Good bathroom and very nice indoor pool area. Very central and close to castle and sea. Good size rooms, too. Very recommendably for cyclists.

Amazing location, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff.

The pool area is great for families. We spent hours in the pool with our kids (9 and 7). The staff are very nice and attentive. The location is excellent. Two minutes from the centre of Castiglioncello and walking distance to multiple beaches (most of them private though which means you have to book a spot). Off-street parking is available but not very spacious.I lost my keys and credit cards in the parking lot. They found them after I had left and mailed them back to me within a day!

The AC in the room was not working as effectively as I would have liked. Some of us found it quite hot during the night.

Lovely little hotel, near shops restaurants and cafes

A very comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff were really helpful and the rooms were very clean.

Location was wonderful. The place was very clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Sauna was a nice plus. We had a delicious set-menu dinner there which had great creativity and taste .

Facilities were run- down. It all needs updating.

The rooms inc. bathroom and beds are very outdated. Thereby de shower doesn't work correctly anymore. I think that the rooms must be updated to a modern standard. Like boxspring bed and a modern shower.

Cute hotel, but we paid extra for a superior room that was no different. Just access to another patio. Bathroom dated.

Nice reception, outdoor seating area. Lovely feel of the hotel in general.

Pool was indoor, and needed a little attention, to the jacuzzi area.
