Very interesting old architecture made lodging like stepping back in time

Check in was awkward. Couldn't find coffee mugs.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room, quiet, comfortable bed. Interesting automated check-in and payment system worked perfectly with my USA credit card.

As most others say, the check-in process can be challenging. We are super confident at using technology but it proved a little tricky. The machine didn’t read my passport so I had to add in all of the info manually. We speak some Spanish but we had to use our phone to translate some of the questions. None of that is a drama except we were doing this late at night & tired - and you just want to get in!

Location was good and quite place away from busy streets and town centre.

Check in was difficult and couldn't recognise my booking reference. Had to have to call for someone to come and assist to get the key and get inside the hotel. I paid and the machine never presented me with my transaction receipt !! Not a pleasant experience at all. Imagine if gust arrive after dark !! And the hotel was in the middle of renovation and your website never mention that they are painting and working on the restaurant and the hotel vicinity .

Good location between Castalla and Ibi. Room was large, bed was comfortable.

There was no staff. When we arrived, the room was cold and the heater did not work. Since there was no one on site to notify, I immediately sent a message via the booking app, informing them of the problem. It is now 24 hours later, I have checked out, and have yet to receive a response. OK place to stay if you are happy dealing with non responsive robots when there is a problem. There was a note on the inside of the entry door with a reminder not to forget and leave the room key, however there were no instructions where to leave it, so I left it in the room with the door unlocked. I also sent a message to Booking, regarding the lack of heat, but never got a response. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Love this old country house, great countryside location and even though it has a self registration reception it is quite straightforward and this is reflected in the reasonable price.

Kitchen could be more user friendly and have more of the basic essentials like cutlery

It was a one night stop for us but amazing value for money. Although completely self service it had everything you wanted. From the automatic checkin to the fully equipped kitchen & dining room.

The machine for checking in and obtaining the key was cumbersome, a person at a counter would be nice. upon completion the machine provides the room key and is supposed to provide the keycode to unlock the front door. This was not provided. Then the person answering the hotel phone number did not understand English and effectively hung up. I needed to get Booking.com to phone them to get this code. So check-in took too long. The interior of the room was tired, the bathroom needs to be refurbished. The hotel is in the middle of no-where. There are shared cooking facilities which we did not use and snack/drink vending machines. plus some leaflets to a local fast food place. This overall was very poor value compared with other stays during my holiday.

OK few things- takes more than the 1 minute they say to use the automated check in! Worked well enough though. King suite says balcony, living room but neither there! The suite with the 4 poster is a better option. Kitchen with 'Full facilities' isn't- a 2 ring electric cooker, oven, microwave and toaster!!

Good location and old style

The location, quiet but not far from the centre. The property is traditional and attractive. The rooms were clean.

Check in via machine was a nightmare . It was confusing, frustrating and time consuming! We witnessed two other couples struggling to check in as well. No staff so very impersonal, no greeting and almost unwelcoming. The bed was uncomfortable and small, definitely needs replacing. Only one pillow per person and no spare ones. Coffee vending machine which didn’t work. Toilet wouldn’t flush so had to go downstairs to use communal toilet. No shelter outside for rainy conditions. We will not go again.

We like quite rural settings in nature and this is what we got. The Hotel is a little out of Ibi on an olive farm with a giant fish pond in an old stately house. It’s very nice and modern on the inside- very clean

The check in procedure is automated and a little complicated for a 60 year old IT illiterate person,-)

The outside and gardens are stunning and very rural and quiet, really good parking, and cheap vending machine for some snacks and drinks.

Check in was a nightmare on a machine and each room individual and took ages. The rooms are not like the pictures and are outdated, the aircon machine was so huge and noisy you couldn't sleep. Saw one member of staff the whole time, there wasn't a bbq you could use, the fridge wasn't plugged in, hairdryer didn't work, Shower hanging off, each room had same facilities advertised but didn't actually have them.

The location was very good, far enough away from noise and light pollution, easy access to the main roads and supermarkets or convenience foods in either direction. The properties decoration was fantastic with the nick nacks. Car parking was excellent.

The property was clean in a very general way, but needed a good spring clean in all the little areas like the backs of doors, air vents, windowsills and ceiling timbers, lots of cobwebs. Kitchen was rather poorly stocked and the room fridge froze everything, probably needs replacing, a little bit dated.

Nice good hotel with clean rooms and comfy beds. Air conditioning in rooms private bathroom and toiletries included.I'm very happy with my stay and as well with the price.Thank you.

It's saying that there's a kitchen but actually you can't cook anything cause there's no hob (cooker) just a toaster and microwave.

The hotel and location are truly stunning. The facilities are good, the character of the property and the views were amazing.

There is absolutely no staff on site. Check in is automated and a little complicated, but ok. I expect this is why the price was reasonable.

The location and tranquility!

The automatic checkin was quite difficult and arduous especially late at night and the ticket for the code to let us in didn’t come out of the machine! Perhaps it had run out of paper. I rang booking.com and they were very helpful and it was sorted over the phone!
