Very nice hotel on our trip between coast and Toledo. Room was exceptional.

It was very hot and air conditioning was struggling to keep it comfortable. A fan would be a nice addition.

Traditional Spanish Property.

HVAC unit set to A/C and <15c was pumping out hot air. Has to turn it of & open windows.

Very clean. Large balcony with amazing view of the castle. Room good value.

Bed/mattress needed replacing. Staff weren't very welcoming, otherwise we'd have used the bar.

Super comfy beds and excellent dinner and breakfast. Not what we expected for a hotel on a main road but was quiet and an interesting place.

Soundproofing between rooms a little thin

The whole ambience of the place and the friendly staff make it a fabulous place for a stopover that also accepts pets. Good food is available in the evening and there is a breakfast menu also. Overall very good value.

Perfect location on drive south from Santander. We have a small dog. Although not allowed in Bar or Restaurant there was a comfortable lounge area where we could eat with him. Recommend ground floor room which was in quiet corridor. Has inner courtyard for secure parking

Great place, nice staff, secured parking, other gusts a bit noisy at night and you can hear them talking and walking outside but besides that recommended!

First room which we booked smelt very badly of cigarette smoke. We were offered an alternative room which was much smaller than we had booked and paid for so will be looking for some kind of refund

We loved everything about this great find and the food was amazing. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

The only negative we could find was the mattress felt solid. New mattresses and then it would be faultless

Family of5 and a dog in 2 rooms. Fabulous stay. Rooms perfect. Had dinner in the awesome dining room. Food was very tasty including the steak. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but communication was difficult as we don't speak Spanish and their English was limited. However they made great efforts and made us very welcome.

Everything was great, especially the treat i got

The burger I ate for dinner was just alright. But maybe the spanish local food is much better. I gotta say, the tapas were delicious

The courtyard

Very dark in main reception and I would like to take my very well behaved dog in the restaurant

The hotel is beautiful. However, our room was a bit disappointing. The only outside window opened into another room, not ours, not outside.The lights are really low power so it was difficult to see properly, or to read. There was a restaurant, but no pet friendly area, so we couldn't use it unless we put out dogs in the car.I know it's traditional but we can't sleep with a bolster pillow. It served the purpose of a convenient overnight stop but that's all.

Located just off the motorway it is a lovely old bodega. Always warm inside with decent food and drink available. They also accommodate dogs although not in the bar or restaurant.

Location and parking were perfect . Beautiful inside

Only problem was soundproofing in room . Was kept awake by wits on next door on phone and then snoring all night! Had to put music in the tv to drown done of the noise ?

Old style Spanish look and feel

Very, very dark. Small rooms with nothing but the basics in it.

Restaurant was offering varied menu, steak and pork meals were excellent. Private parking in enclosed courtyard was a bonus. Opt for a ground floor room if stairs are not your preference. Staff were very welcoming and always on hand if needed.

Cannot think of any downside to this hotel, frequently used en route through Spain
