Sea facing building, kitchen with washing machine, microwave, stove and some cutlery. Friendly helpful staff.

The interiors are from the 60's - and that of a 2-star hotel. Uncomfortable beds, very small bathrooms., not enough hot water shower for 4 people, dangerous faucets (turns on scalding hot water or super cold water). I think given their location they get fully booked so they may not care - but the interiors don't match the picture perfect white exteriors of this place. Nothing against the staff. It is the property that is very old and not at all on par with modern facilities.

Beautiful resort, clean, friendly and kind staff, family friendly amenities! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent, we would return, the restaurant was great as well.

They were too hard, I had to sleep on the couch halfway through the second night. I added blankets to the bed to make more cushion, but it wasn't enough. My husband felt the same way and napped on the couch as well to get some sleep.

My Apartment Location.

Shower stall way too small for American can't move in it. Only for small children.Taking a shower in bathtub is very Dangerous. I am a Senior Citizen and need very secure handles to grab in order to enter and exit the shower. Due to the bathtub tub wall being so high. Also there is No Anti Slip matting in bathtub shower one wrong move and you can be severely injured.

Some of appliances older and/or not working properly. Door locks not very secure, particularly sliding doors

The location of the accommodation is great. It’s on a cliff and just a 10-minute walk to the beach, which is small but beautiful. There’s also a bar and a restaurant on the beach that serves excellent food. The nearest town is a 20-minute walk away. The town of Carvoeiro is lovely—small, but it has everything you need: shops, restaurants, bars, etc. We didn’t use the pool at the apartments because of the weather. It’s small but perfect for a quick refresh. The staff at the reception are very friendly and always willing to help.

In the apartment, we missed having a dish towel for drying the dishes.

The facility overall has a lot of potential. The room was very clean and the space was great for the price. The breakfast location was very nice and food was decent, plenty of variety. Very nice to park right outside of our unit. We didn’t use any of the kitchen facilities. The staff was kind and helpful.

The room needs maintenance. One room had a darkening curtain missing. The towels are old. We had trouble with hot water. After getting it to work it was hit and miss. The beds are ok, firm as many are in Europe. Pillows were thin. Most of these things are easy fixes so hopefully they do a few updates/fixes. I would suggest an ocean view room to avoid being near the tennis court (can be noisy).

Very nice quiet location. 5 min bike ride or 10min walk to beach. Great layout for a family. Close to the cliff trails.Air Conditioning units in each room. Big bathrooms. Nice Kitchen, washing machine and drying rack. The staff was friendly answered all my questions and they gave you map and explained the attractions available around the area.

The beds were to hard for my taste but the couch was very comfortable and big.

Loved the pool. Loved the location. You could walk a short distance and be on the cliffs with fantastic views, or in another direction you could be on the beach. Breakfast was pretty good. Location was close to town, so you could walk there in 20 minutes or so. (Parking was not easy in town, but you can find spots with a little work.) The buildings were a little worn, but they were clean and comfortable.

Hot water in the bath was a bit sporadic. Mattresses were quite hard.

The room/ apartment was very bland. The beds were hard STIFF & had a Plastic mattress cover. The whole place was odd & cheap. But might be perfect for many. Good location to beach nice pool, dinning etc. family Vaca at a good price....YES.

The pool was fabulous! The staff were helpful.The restaurant staff were amazing and the hardest working crew I have ever seen. They were friendly, helpful, genuinely kind and hospitable. The villa was spacious and very functional. We loved the “look” of Pestana- pretty, colorful, and we loved our garden area with ocean view. It was in walking distance to Centeanes beach, Algar Seco, and downtown Carvoeiro. It was very family friendly.

The beds were not comfortable and the villa though clean, it felt more superficial.

Location, the pool and the house!

They had only filter coffee. I bought a coffee machine with caps and I left it for future guest and hope the property will leave it in the house!

The location was great!

The place is completely outdated. Broken screens in villa, rooftop terrace was covered in bird droppings, kitchen cabinets were peeling. The villa smelled musty and wasn’t clean upon our arrival. Grounds are not kept up.

We had three villas for our family two of them with sea view was great. The third one with a view to the tennis courts had many ants and cockroaches. The first night we even found one in our bed. My husband killed over 10 of them.

It has old world charm with modern amenities! Our rental was much bigger than we anticipated. Very spacious & clean! The AC felt amazing and the pool was marvelous!

Maybe a few more umbrellas for around the pool area. We did stay during an unusual heat wave!

The facilities were lovely and the location was so perfect. It’s a ten minute walk from the Praia Centeanes. Pestana Palm Garden is a special place for our family. It’s quaint and the staff is OUTSTANDING. Especially, Igor, Vanda and Garca. Pure class and kindness.

The water temperature in the showers were a bit temperamental. Other than that not complaints.
