Lagoa Hotel

There are many weird quirks about the hotel. There are not many outlets, including no outlet in the bathroom. The telephone didn't work. The wifi did not work at all. I had to go in the hallway to get wifi. And there was a cockroach in my room.

Location was good but challenging to see the hotel entrance until you passed it. Microwave available was nice. The staff were helpful by moving me and doing an extra cleaning when I reported mold.

Mold in the room. A lot by the bottom of the sliding glass door and in the bathroom. They moved me ro another room which still had mold in the bathroom but not as much as the other room. They did try to clean it but it didn't really get rid of the mold.

Very friendly and helpful professional staff, good location, private parking facilities, value for money.

Everything was great. My only caveat was that I had to carry my bicycle up 2 flights of stairs, including luggage, as it didnt fit in the elevator.

The staff were extremely helpful and the shower was excellent ? There is a restaurant which looked nice but I never used it so I can't comment on the food. Concrete stairs up the apartment are steep to navigate if you have large pieces of luggage. The room looked a bit "tired" and the view was not good if you are not overlooking the pool.

It is very close to where we need to work during each visit.The staff is very friendly.It is within walking distance to Nice places to eat.

This was our 3rd stay and the room this time was not nearly as nice as the other two. The bathroom was VERY small with a shower that you can’t bend over to pick up the soap if you drop it and nowhere in the shower to place your shampoo or soap!The room has suffered bad water damage and it seems the door was broken down at one time so the fixes made are quite shoddy and don’t reflect the nice furnishings of the hotel general areas.The fact that guests have to walk considerable distances exposed to the weather in order to reach their rooms is very unpleasant when raining. Water pools on the walkway surfaces which causes wet feet and can be dangerous to fall since the tiles are slick surfaced.

The front desk staff was exceptional. The pool is very nice with great lounge chairs. The palm trees around the pool are great. Our room had a seperate entrance from pool to room with private parking if you have a vehicle. The hotel was clean.

Hotel needs updating. Breakfast is an additional charge and is expensive. Not much to see or do within walking distance.

Employees behind the Reception was a 10. Very kind and relaxed. The rooms are good en the bed was very good.

Only thing what i don’t like was the little cabine for the shower. The shower was very good. Powerful and nice temperature.

Room was big enough.

Outdated decor and lack of urgency from the staff.

The breakfast was good

Our room was across the street from a gas station and beside a busy street so unable to go on balcony due to noise but was worse was a horrible foul smell outside that never went away. We asked to change rooms and told no other room like ours available so we said we were willing to down size but told to come back tomorrow as someone may be able to help us then. When we went back next day we were told it was sold out however at the end of the day I decided to search on booking as it didn't look very busy at hotel and here was a room available so the next morning I went back to reception to inquiry and I was told sold out. When I searched again room was gone and they were sold out.Also the pool was leaking so everyday they had to add cold water from the hoses as

the apartment was really cool and practical. bed comfortable

the noise and light insulation is just a bit lacking !

Convenient location, free parking.

No coffee or tea provided in the room.

Private access to the swimming pool as well as private parking spot. Very good breakfast and amazing staff. Very comfortable room and beautiful place overall.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Especially Barbara and Savaldor, always met with a big smile and genuinely interested in what you had to say. Under the apartment is a garage. This kept the car safe and cool. Food from the snack bar was great and an amazing price. For the price and staff hospitality, 10 out of 10.

2 blinds were broken in the room, permanently closed. Leaves and insects in the pool at the end of the day.

The pool area and the staff were very friendly.

Only thing was the air conditioning unit wasn't very powerful even on cooling setting, but it was very warm weather.

Great facilities, nice big pool, short taxi ride to the coast and the hotel is cheaper than ones nearer it so it's perfect! Room was very large too

The pool was perfect temperature, beds were super comfy and it was great to have a kitchenette so we could cook our own meal one night.

The bathroom had a few hairs in the sink and there was no fairy liquid which made washing up difficult.

Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. There was a kitchen in the room but we did not use it. Convenient location in Lagoa on N 125. Staff was very friendly. Great value for money for a one night stay in Algarve (we were driving from Lisbon and flying from Faro).

The patio/balcony of the room has a high wall around it (there is another building next to it), so other than drying wet swimming suits, it was not that enjoyable to stay. There is also a high wall at the swimming pool area, right behind it is N 125 so it was quite noisy there. The swimming pool itself was nice, but there was a bad smell in the air (possibly from fields around?) that did not make it comfortable to stay much time at the pool.

Staff were helpful and friendly,Car parking was great under the accommodation.Breakfast was good.

In the room the tiled step over to the kitchen area was quite dangerous for anyone not steady on their feet. The room was a little tired in places.
