Algar Seco Parque

This is a fantastic vacation spot. The units are charming, inviting and well equipped. Sitting on your terrace enjoying the beautiful sea view was awesome. The pool was clean, refreshing with lots of loungers available. There is also a great bistro onsite. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The property is very well situated, with the beach/main strip a short walk downhill and lots of restaurants and shops less than a 5 minute walk.

Loved the view from our room and the size of our room.

Signage to the pool and the pool temperature could have been warmer.

Location was excellent to walking into town and the coastal boardwalk. Gorgeous view from the pool, one pool was heated which was awesome. Staff were great and friendly. Very clean, nice touches ie delivered Easter bread, well equipped kitchenEtc.

Beds could have been a little more comfortable

This is a really well kept resort. Lovely and clean. The staff will accommodate anything if you ask. Great location and views.

Everything was perfect.

Fabulous location, excellent staff and facilities, spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms and showers also excellent, the cleaners did a fantastic job too. The cafe and bar are also excellent with friendly staff, lovely food and a stunning location looking out to sea.

I am 6 feet tall and weigh 12.7 stone and found the bed a little on the small side, but this is only a little issue, did not spoil my stay.

Didn’t have breakfast. Location was excellent. It was nice and quiet.

A washing machine would have been nice.

The location was absolutely amazing,wouldn’t change a thing.So much to walk or drive to -car certainly not necessary though.Our apartment was exceptionally clean with lively sea views and was cleaned 5 days of our week-long stay.The staff are really lovely-very positive experience.Would definitely return.

It would be wonderful to have more of a heated pool at this time of year,would make a tremendous difference.The pool that was heated slightly was very small and the heating was subtle.The breakfast option on site is distinctly average.But you can work around this very easily.

Fantastic setting - 10 min walk in to the centre along the boardwalk.The accommodation was perfect for us. We loved the balcony which has amazing views.Pool area is v good too. Quiet.Staff all very friendly - and the cleaning was a bonus. All in all a classy place and hope to return.

The complex is in a perfect location overlooking the Atlantic ocean and boardwalk taking you into town. A minimarket and some lovely restaurants are very close. The bistro beside the pool is so good with great staff. All the accommodation has great views over the ocean. The grounds are so well maintained and our apartment was cleaned every day. Just love this place.

A little dated

Very relaxing place with the best views imaginable .Pools were fantastic and staff very friendly in the reception and Restaurant. Restaurant Food top quality.Also loves the location, just a minute away from a very cool beach bar/ Restaurant and cliff jumping .Very clean and pretty all around the grounds.

Can't say I disliked anything, everything was perfect, didn't want to leave .

Beautiful spot in Carvoeiro. The resort was so peaceful and exceptionally clean. The gardeners were busy sweeping paths first thing in the morning and continually tidying the gardens. The pool area was clean and tidy with easy access to the onsite Bistro.The apartment was serviced daily, to a very high standard. Victoria, who looked after our apartment, was a gem. A short 10 minute taxi ride to the Intermarche was ideal for groceries for the week and very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend Algar Seco Parque resort for a self catering holiday.

Location, site, apartments all very good. You are in walking distance from all bars and restaurants in carvoerio, but it is very peaceful if you just want to chill out day or night.

Nothing - this was our third visit

It's such a lovely place "on" the rocks at Algar Seco. It is perfect for us. We chose quiet accommodation within the complex. We had peace and tranquility but are close to bars, restaurants and amenities in central Carvoeiro.. Views are stunning. Staff are so welcoming.We are returning visitors. We like to run and swim so it is just the perfect package for us. Great attention to detail. Well serviced in terms of attention to detail, organisation and well equipped accommodation

A superb complex in a beautiful location. We were looking for a week in the sun somewhere relatively quiet and chose this place with a little searching. We were blown away by how amazing everything was. The apartment was spacious, spotless and had great facilities for self catering which is why we didn’t eat out much to keep the cost down! A real gem of a find. Amazing sunsets on the doorstep! We will definitely be back.

The Pillows were a little hard and uncomfortable - but I’ve seen in another persons review that this could have been rectified / swapped out had I asked at reception!

The resort is offering spectacular views of the sea. The well-maintained gardens and large outdoor pool area provide a relaxing environment. It’s just a short walk to the lively town of Carvoeiro, where you can find shops, restaurants, and a lovely beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Although there are some dining options available, the variety is limited compared to larger resorts. Breakfast is quite limited and you need a reservation. Bathroom in the room needs some renovations.

The location was excellent, spectacular cliff views. The resort is very well managed and all staff were lovely. Cleaning service was provided 5 days out of 7 and was exceptional. The resort is very peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to Carvoeiro town Pool areas lovely and always loungers available. Overall a great holiday experience :)
