About
Nestled in the tranquil Valley of Canyamel, Mallorca, and surrounded by natural beauty, Cap Vermell Grand Hotel is itself a haven of calm and a truly sanctuary of well-being. Only 15-minute walk from Canyamel and its quiet and heavenly beach. The hotel, that reflects the style of a traditional Mallorquin hilltop village in its beauty, nature and vegetation, emerges from a hill with views of the Mediterranean Sea to one side, and pastel-toned sunsets over the valley’s rolling hills to the other. Its one-of-a-kind design, an exquisite gastronomy alongside a breath-taking scenery stands the five-star Grand Luxe Cap Vermell Grand Hotel as one of the unique luxury retreats in the Mediterranean. This sanctuary of well-being offers all necessary to enjoy a dream getaway: the landscaped pool side terrace features 2 swimming pools plus a separate children’s pool and an exterior jacuzzi; a spa which is a truly sanctuary of calm; 4 restaurants (including 2-Star Michelin VORO and a delicious and spectacular buffet breakfast); a 24-hour gym and sport and leisure complex (Cap Vermell Country Club), all surrounded by natural beauty. Guests can get pampered at the Serenitas Spa, an oasis of peace that invites to create a comfort and wellness journey, inspired by the local culture, featuring the only quartz sand bed in Mallorca. Serenitas honors the beautiful and ever-evolving island of Mallorca while at Cap Vermell Country Club, adjacent to the resort and with free access, guests will find the perfect place to enjoy playing sport or joining group classes of yoga, Pilates or spinning and various additional fitness activities. The Sports Center also features 6 paddle and 1 tennis courts and a 82 ft indoor pool. Through its 142 spacious and elegant guest rooms, including 16 exquisitely patterned suites and 2 presidential suites, guests will indulge in the most sophisticated comfort, all enriched by private terraces overlooking the verdant valley or the Mediterranean Sea. Cap Vermell Grand Hotel is a luxury well-being oasis, but also a gastronomic retreat. The resort offers an exquisite gastronomy thanks to the fine-dining restaurant VORO under the direction of chef Alvaro Salazar. Awarded two Michelin stars - VORO is more than a temple of pleasure, it is a daring, thrilling and intense free-spirited cuisine with Mediterranean soul, commitment to our environment and roots. At Tapas Bar or Balearic our guests will also encounter the perfect blend of local, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine, a nod to our local and national gastronomy based on local produce. Enhancing their desire to extend its unique culinary proposals to guests, the Japanese restaurant ROKA offers its award-winning Japanese robatayaki concept, an authentic but contemporary Japanese cuisine. Set in the beautiful, rugged countryside in eastern Mallorca, guests can enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking and golfers will find four different courses in the vicinity of the hotel. Palma de Mallorca and its airport can be reached in around an hour’s drive. Country Club is temporarily closed due to safety reasons and ongoing recovery works.

Pros +
- The hotel was sensational, without any exaggeration at all. From the time you arrive at the property you will receive “white glove” level of service. Pictures can’t do the views from this property justice, they are absolutely stunning. The restaurants on the property are phenomenal, be sure to make a reservation at ROKA when you check in (highly recommend the crème Brûlée). Additionally be sure to take advantage of the country clubs fitness classes that are free to you as a hotel guest (e.g., Pilates, Yoga, etc.)
- Nice place with a nice Michelin restaurant
- How aesthetic it was
Cons -
- No music in a pool,in a bathroom was not good clean the tube where goes the water in a shower
- The staff for a 5 star hotel they were a 2 star staff rude not helpful we waited at the spa for 45 minutes till someone came to help as house keeping sometimes the don’t show up there was ants and a random jacket on our room
- Only 2 restaurants open in April, they were good quality food but after a few days we’d of liked more options.

The excellent staff and clean extensive facilities Great deal for moneyThe Michelin two star restaurant was superb
Our room was spacious, clean and the views are beautiful of the valley. Golf in local area is great. Facilities and all staff were excellent. The staff made our stay extra special and went above and beyond to help us when needed. The restaurant staff took our party’s allergies seriously and it was greatly appreciated. We visited in April and had a peaceful time.
Only 2 restaurants open in April, they were good quality food but after a few days we’d of liked more options.
Very comfortable rooms, size is bigger than usual. As well as the high quality of rooms and well maintained infrastructure. The village style of hotel together with a perfectly designed outside environment, makes it a little paradise. And last but not least, the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
For us it was perfect to be in a bit of remote area of the island. If you look for partying, this may not be the right place.
Friendly Staff, Fantastic facility, super clear rooms, and comfortable. This luxury hotel is worth the money. The location is a bit far from the centre, but I understand the resort is just one of the villages.
All good,
We always enjoy having dinner at the Balearic Restaurant - where we encounter creative dishes with a Mallorquin touch and specials according from the season. Asking for the chefs special is always a treat. In the same restaurant breakfast is served in the morning and the variety of dishes - international and majorquin - are always, fresh, homemade pastries are a must have and attention to detail a given. Massages are great at the serenity spa. The whole place is secluded and has a magic spell. For us it is perfect, away from the noise in a lovely setting.
Nothing really
Beautiful resort, perfect location, great service and could bring my dogg.
Room to big for power off the airco so room much to hot all night. Stay was overall perfect but i won't return because of this reason.
Beautiful property , lovely staff. Great food. Added bonus of having the restaurant Voro on site which is a real treat! Perfect place for a get away for a few days to relax , beds really comfy and a decent gym at the country club!
This hotel has been built like a small town. You can easily walk around through the narrow streets and encounter a nice restaurant or bar. At the checking in, we got a personal service, with advise, tips on what to do. The rooms (suites) are spacious and very luxureous. The staff is always friendly and supportive, something we truly appreciated as my spouse is disabled and needs extra care. Tip : definitely book a spa-treatment. It is worth every penny.
a rather small swimming pool and relaxing area for such a big hotel. It was always full, crowdy and extra service for a five star grand luxe was missing. Definitely an topic to work on.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Capvermal Hotel in Majorca, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The hotel's location is good but you will need a car to go to the city or Beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with a balcony that provided a stunning view of the sunset each evening. The hotel's restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, including both local specialties and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries ….Additionally, the hotel's amenities were top-notch. We enjoyed spending afternoons lounging by the pool, and the spa offered a range of relaxing treatments that enhanced our vacation experience. The staff was attentive and eager to help us make the most of our stay, providing excellent recommendations .Overall, our stay at the Capvermal Hotel was wonderful. The combination of luxurious accommodations, excellent service, and beautiful surroundings made it a memorable vacation destination with my wife . I would highly recommend it to anyone .
Excellent breakfast, attentive staff , very clean
Location - Not much around canyamel
Beautiful property, extremely comfortable rooms (free minibar was a lovely touch). The quality of the food at the restaurants is excellent - significantly aided by the addition of Roka’s summer popup which has been there every year since summer 2020. Their tapas restaurant was also very good
The pool area needs to be completely redone - the kids pool is not used at all, resulting in all of the babies and kids sharing the adult pool. Similarly, the smaller quieter pool feels very disjointed and uncomfortable with a complete lack of service from the pool bar. Worth the resort spending the money with a complete redesign, taking advantage of the incredible views over the mountains. The service by the pool could do with significant improving - they require one or two more staff members by the pool and from morning to late afternoon should be asking guests what they would like to order rather than hotel guests making the journey to the bar to ask for some water - lost opportunity for income for the hotel. The pool restaurant is tiny and felt like an afterthought. Generally, the hotel could do with more areas at their bars and restaurants taking advantage of the stunning scenic views of the mountains.
Quality of the rooms and professionnalism of the staff
Smimming pools are too small
Outstanding service! Nice breakfast with a big variety of dishes, traditional pastries and seasonal fruits. Rooms are big and comfortable, staff is just amazing!
Welcome champagne and cake…..exceptional.Breakfast was excellent. Room and view…very special. No mosquitos which was fantastic but no one would tell us what the secret was.
Food and drink descriptions were often not followed through. Listed ingredients should be represented and not substituted by alternatives.Pool bar smoothie wasn’t what you would expect…..no real fruit and probably just a syrup and ice blend.
Hotel and food was amazing. The Adults only pool was perfect for us on our honeymoon. Gym was handy and quiet. rooms were fully equipped and water was always available. Valet parking and golf kart to your room was a nice touch after a long day exploring.
we liked everything, friendly staff that really helped us with an issue with our car.
Service, location, hygiene, rooms; very well appointed.
Niets
The staff were absolutely fantastic. Particularly the check in team who were top class. The pool and and guest areas were spotless and the room was super. We loved our meal at Roka and cannot wait to return to try VORO.
The pool bar menu was fairly limited but what we had was tasty.
