Hotel Bonavida

Perfect location for skiing and to walk around Canillo. Lovely common area with a fireplace. Delicious breakfast. Close to public parking.

Clean hotel and very good breakfast

Unfortunately no air conditioning but with windows open its ok

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. We stayed in a family at end of August so had no much of other people. Staff were hyper friendly and helpful. Even opened the pool for our children that has been already closed for the winter .Restaurant had a lots of choices and food was tasty. We appreciate a lot the ambiance :)Thank you so much for hosting us !

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent. Rooms very comfortable and sauna great. Heated boot room added bonus. Could not be any closer to the lift!

a bit of variety through week on children’s menu

Our overall experience was amazing! The hotel's proximity to the ski lift, convenient ski storage room, delicious dinners, and very attentive staff made our stay exceptional. We also loved having access to the sauna and jacuzzi. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the bus station.

The only thing that could be improved is providing a kettle in the room. It would be great to make tea without having to go to the restaurant.

Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and the amenities were functional but needed some updating

The facility seems older, there are some areas that need updating and the hallway near the elevator always seemed to smell like sewers :(

Great place, near the Canillo lift with a perfect and complete breakfast (you have a lot of choice, all hot drinks you want, juices), huge room for 4, room access to the Spa

Location very close to Gondola, ski/boot room, staff very friendly and always helpful, food menu brilliant, lots of choice and delicious.

Nothing to fault it

Location, communal area great as well. Staff were AMAZING!!! They were all a credit to the hotel!

Hot tub/jacuzzi not very warm.

Hotel was right beside the gondola station, it had parking and a boot room for skis. The food was excellent and staff couldn’t have been better, very friendly and accommodating. Showers in the rooms were clean and hot, rooms were spacious with plenty of storage space for luggage etc.

Beds were slightly hard and you could hear noise from other rooms through the ceiling

The hotel was fabulous! The food was on another level! We opted for half board, for ease (never done this before). They had 3 choices for starter and also for main (which changed every day) and additional options for a small fee. Then a full sweet selection to choose from. The huge Breakfast selection was incredible, Full English, Continental or Pastries. We were always full and ready for the day. The Spa (Sauna and Jacuzzi was small, but as you needed to book and they only allow a few guests in at a time, it was perfect and just what we needed after a full day's Skiing. The rooms were lovely, had fantastic views and was clean, warm and spacious. The service from everyone in the hotel was fantastic, especially Juan on reception, one of the friendliest and most helpful humans I've come across. See you all next year!

I really couldn't fault the hotel.

- top location- great dinner- if you booked a ski-pass online - they can exchange it to a real one in the hotel- free spa- there is a nice supermarket at the same building with a nice choice of fruit and vegetables. Our favourite is 1l of orange fresh for 4€ which you can do yourself

- Same breakfast every day- No kettle in a room- No fridge- No spoon or fork, no plate- No ventilation in a room- Lock on the balcony door is broken- Old bathroom- Cheap toiletries- No ski boots dryer- The hotel blocks money on your bank card as soon as you book your stay even if you still have a free cancellation period

Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Only the children's menu remains the same during the week.The staff was very pleasant and tried to help with every question.The ski vacation location is perfect. Even children succeed to go and carry the ski until the gondola.

No kettle in the room

We loved everything about our week long stay at Bonavida. Location, access to the ski resort is UNBEATABLE. So are the service, the staff, etc. They help with ski passes, ski equipment rentals, have it done for you, all is a smooth process, just unbelievable. They really make you feel welcomed. Special thanks to Juan at the front desk and Sol in the restaurant. Food is delicious and plenty. If parking is full, there is a public parking option so close, equally a good option. For those who have concerns about charge, with ski-pass you only pay 50%, so don't worry at all, if you can not park in the hotel's garage. Also, there is a storage for your skis and boots on your way out by the garage. Telecabin literally 50 meters away. Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay, we will be back.

I really can not think of anything.

The stuff was friendly and always answered to questions with smile. Maids were cleaning the room every day. Hotel restaurant food was delicious and fresh.

Excellent location, the closest hotel to the lift, the bus stop is just around the corner. Very nice and helpful staff. Cozy hall with a fireplace. Very good breakfast with a big choice of pastries.

I missed some fresh vegetables/lettuce for breakfast.

Included breakfast was unexpectedly good. There was a wide variety of breakfast foods/drinks at a good quality. As well as the times, until 10am they were serving! Also bonus microwave in the dining area to use when needed. Cleanliness was really nice and the wifi is good. Staff were always so nice and helpful! Location was really convenient to the lifts as well as the included ski lockers and boot heaters in the basement.

Not a big deal: small doors in the ski locker, small winding back entrance staircase. Hotel room doors also close pretty loudly and can be heard while in rooms.
