HOTEL LA CASA DE LAS CAMELIAS

Nice garden filled with flowering camelias. Very good shower facilities in room. Lovely view over the countryside from the window. Nice, lively bar and restaurant close by. Great walking trails along the coast., which is just 1.5 km away. Easy access to motorway.

Breakfast was very spartan and quite expensive. We met only Spanish speaking personnel.

We had to wait too long for the food.The heavy shower head fall on my head.

The guy attending us was super friendly and made sure we got a very nice, comfortable and big room to stay. The facilities were very tastefully decorated and seemed looked after. Also the night there was very quiet and we slept like babies. The same person prepared us our breakfast the next morning and it was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast was good. The heating was inadequate. We didn’t sleep well as the heating didn’t heat the room properly.

The room was cold, in fact the whole house was inadequately heated.

Marvelous place! Everything was beyond my expectations. Clean and relaxing that is exactly what I needed. At that price I saw nothing better.Very quiet place aside from touristic sites but everything is not far if you have a car. Excellent possibilities for hiking either in mountains or along the seaside. There are few good restaurants in 15min by car.I stayed at the hotel at the New year night and the owner brought wine and grape!

Was hard to find a restaurant to eat at before 8PM that was close by.

Great stay in very quite and tranquil place in Asturias. One of the best places we have stayed during this trip.The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoy our stay a lot!

Location, it is very difficult to find. No restaurants opened in the pueblo when we visited last week in June.

Breakfast at the hotel was fine. The environment was quiet. Although the hotel didn't have a private parking, I could park my motorcycle on the hotel courtyard, behind locked doors.

No restaurant in walking distance. The nearest (and only) restaurant was a few km away.

nothing to dislike with the property. the host Maria was very accommodating especially arranging an “interpreter” due to our lack of Spanish skills. we were travelling on motorbikes and these were safely parked at the rear of the property.

Quick check-in and spotless clean. The village is very quiet so we had a great night sleep. The room was big, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was very well equipped.

We thought this was in Luarca and followed the motorway signs to the village to find out that it was in a different one. No fault of the place obviously but it is not Luarca. However we discovered a great walk to the Busto lighthouse so it was worth the detour!

This charming little place is situated in a peaceful village surrounded by beautiful fields, and is incredibly close to the breathtaking cliffs and Cantabrian Sea. I would highly recommend staying here, as the location is simply amazing.

The location was misleading. We expected the hotel to be in Luarca but in fact it was about 10 km outside Luarca. No problem for people with cars but it was for us.
