Hotel Montana

Very comfortable stay. Staff extreemly welcoming. Facilities were good. Hotel was clean. We didn’t utilise the restaurant but it was busy and the food looked good.

The hotel is a bit dated but that didn’t impose on the quality of the stay.

Fantastic location, if you walk half a km you'll come by Schiller-Balkon, a great viewpoint. The hotel is clean and spacious, even if old. The staff is helpful. Free parking behind the hotel (big deal in Switzerland).

The hotel has a bar on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast is very basic.

Quaint family hotel, hostess was very friendly. Decent bed, neat and clean room, view to the mountains.

Shower is a hand shower only. Only way to get fresh air in the room is to open windows wide, letting mosquitos in. Floors are noisy, you will hear your neighbors.

The host was super helpful providing all info, accommodating our requests and giving good tips. The location is out of the world with best mountain and lake views. The restaurant was also very good, with a very friendly/family atmosphere in the evening. It just made our short stay memorable. Even the people from the village were very friendly.

Warm welcome from a very friendly host. We were very glad to meet the host, its very rare to find such wholehearted and happy person. Location is on a beautiful spot. Dinner in their restaurant was amazing, dont miss it if you are staying here. One of the best meal we had in switzerland.

A uniquely pretty property run by three generations of the same family. Located close to Lake Lucerne in a quiet location.

Located just by the Schiller-Balkon with the stunning views over Rütli, here one feels part of Swiss history. Numerous hiking trails offer mountain and lake views. The owner is very nice and accommodating, restaurant is also recommended. The room is basic but has everything one needs, I would come back in a heartbeat.
