    Pros +

    • Excellent location, the food was amazing! And the bar as well. I had the best pisco sour ever. Staff always kind and calm. Also enjoyed the spa facilities. Overall the hotel was perfect for me, not too fancy or formal. Cozy, friendly but not too friendly, no one bothers you which is perfect. The hotel aesthetic is also very nice if you enjoy mid century style.
    • large family room, amazing breakfast, welcome drinks, staff very welcoming, great location right next to the cable car, beautiful views
    • The hotel is exceptional. Location, view, facilities, this is the 2nd time for me to be here. Highly recommended.

    Cons -

    • Sometimes it was hard to navigate the spa facilities, some doors only have the "description" in swiss German and if you are not sure you gotta ask the staff, which is okay but it could be more explicit. One of the nights some guests were outside making noise and we could hear it, I guess the room isolation could be better.
    • unfortunately the spa is not tailored for kids: the indoor pool was too cold, so the only place they could use was the outdoor jacuzzi which is often crowded. a shame given that the main interest of the hotel is the spa, so families can't really enjoy it much
    • Price is quite high

Loved the spa area. What a wonderful way to relax! The food in the restaurant was excellent!

The bathrooms in the rooms were a bit tight, and the step down into the shower was a tripping hazard.

The location on Stoos mountain, the friendly personnel, the fireplace by the bar, the breakfast and salad buffets. The indoor pool and spa are great. I used it every day.

    Can't think of anything.

Perfect Location - 3min walk from the cablecar station with great sunset view from the station and from the front of hotel. Great service, all useful information provided before getting there; all hosts are kind, efficient and friendly. Guests can use the spa facilities even after checkout (in the afternoon of the checkout day). Food is good with affordable prices.

    All good.

This is a beautiful hotel situated in an unbelievable location perched on a mtn edge. Everything is 1st class especially the staff. Thank you to Herr Kalt, Jana at dinner & Jana in housekeeping. I did the research don’t look any further this is where to stay in Stoos. Get the half board as the dinner is lovely!

It’s a great property. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Visited during a heatwave in August. The room was so hot that the cool mountain air didn’t cool it down until early morning despite balcony door open wide. What’s worse, the restaurant was boiling hot during dinner service. I understand in that area people worry more about cold winters. It’s hard to blame them…

It has a spa but the water should be a little hotter or have at least one hot pool. Location is great and you can do may outdoor activities.

Pool should be hotter or have at least one pool that is hot.

The property itself was beautiful & the staff were very friendly. Loved the amenities

It wasn't a big deal but the room we had booked had low sloped ceilings close to the bed so you couldn't stand up straight and walk to or from the bed. The bathroom was also open concept with no shower door for privacy. Again not a huge deal but when traveling with friends it's nice to have a little more privacy. Not sure if all the rooms were like this or if I accidentally booked a room that had these minor things in it. Overall loved the stay though!

    9LisaPosted on: 6-24-2025

    Beautiful area, scenic views.

Very hot, no air conditioning (common for the area) and no fans. A fan would have been nice.

    8JeffPosted on: 6-22-2025

    The Wellness facilities were great.

I wish the Wellness facilities would have longer hours, with dinner from 18-20:00, sunset not until 21:30 it would be nice to enjoy dinner and the daylight for as long as possible then come back and relax in the Wellness facilities and not have to pick one or the other. I also wish the room had A/C as summers are only getting hotter and A/C should be standard in hotel rooms.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing location, what an incredible stay. I only stayed one night, arriving around 3. I left at 9:30 the next day, really fulfilled and happy after a wonderful night’s peaceful sleep. Really nice staff, every single person I encountered was wonderful.

Wellness area was amazing! After a day in mountains, it was a blast! Good selection at breakfast. Super nice staff.

    Nothing major!

The wellness area of the hotel is superb. It has a wide variety of saunas and steam baths of different temperatures, for everone's tastes. ALso, the outdoor welness are is incredible and very well kept. Also, the hotel restaurant is very well managed with attentive staff and friendly as well. All in all, an exquisite experience.

    I liked everything

Very friendly staff and the area is really beautiful. We were able to use the spa even if we checked out in the morning which was highly appreciated.
