Pros +
- The hotel far exceeded our expectations. Both the room and the bathroom were huge, clean, and we also had access to a (common) terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. There are a few parking spots right outside the hotel, however if those are taken, there's a bigger free parking space about 100-200m away. In addition, we appreciated the SommerCard (we each received one), which helped us save quite a lot of money and was easy to use. The location is great for exploring the Hohe Tauern national park.
- Unexpected charges
- We loved the beautiful location and very friendly welcoming staff. Perfect close by safe parking. We also loved that included within the price of the room was access to the GlobGlocker Pass which was one of the reasons we were visiting the area. Bonus! Bar and restaurant for breakfast were great, Will definitely visit this place again.
Cons -
- A mini fridge would have been useful for keeping our drinks cold
- Was charged an extra €6 for tap water. I didn't realise until 2 days into the stay that every time I ask for a glass of tap water for dinner, they add €1.5 to the room bill. I never heard of an establishment that charges for tap water. I think some fair things to do could have been: A, not serving tap water, so guests could choose something else from the drinks menu. B, let guests know that the tap water costs €1.5 a glass, C, raise the cost of the half board overall by enough so you can include tap water. Tyring to get extra cash for something that is customarily free seems like a sneaky practice that I would expect from some scamy Bankog tuk tuk driver, not from the lovely, well-cultured people of Austria who usually are kind to their guests and genuinly want them to have a lovely stay.Other than that:Food: Bit of a hit or miss, our first dinner was a large buffet that was really nice, and we had a few lovely dishes, but other times the food is very salty and sugary. The low point was a 'fondue evening', that really is just self-boiling slices of meet and cheap frankfurters in a plain 'broth' with the frozen crinkle cut chips. The table next to us was trying to build towers from their sad frankfurter slices, so I think we weren't the only ones who were not impressed. Parking: There isn't as many spaces as there cars, so if you don't 'get there on time', it's the public parking lot at the other end of the road for you.Sauna: I enjoyed the sauna the most. I would say they could have made more of an effort to keep it 'stocked' though, they were usually out of sauna towels by 5:30pm, and the 'water station' was almost always empty, with no tap in the area either to hydrate after sauna sessions. Maybe they have something against water in this place...? :D

Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Location and sommerkarte included, sauna also.
No fridge and old music with trompets downstairs 2 hours.
Friendly and helpful staff, nice peaceful location close to Zell an See. Good breakfast and the balcony for relaxing.
Air con would have been a bonus.
The hotel, the room and the breakfast were great.Bruck is quiet, much cheaper than Zell am See (but you don't get the guest card). Not far from the train station. There is also a pizza/kebab takeaway restaurant across the street. But no shop nearby.
Unfortunately, they messed up when I checked in, it took too long to sort it out.
Very cozy hotel, good location, mega pleasant staff! They also give you guest card which includes many activities around for free as example - globglocknrer and etc.
A very cozy hotel with a real family atmosphere thanks to extremely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean rooms, tasty breakfast and dinners. An excellent location, allowing you to relax comfortably and move between the ski resorts: Kitzsteinhorn, Schmitten and Saalbach without any problems.
Nothing really!
Unexpected additional costs negatively affected our stay
It was not a pleasant surprise that the hotel charged you extra for dinner on 31.12.2023, if you booked the HB option and before your arrival and during check-in no one informed you about it. The information was during breakfast on 31.12.2023, when you can not do anything and have to accept the fact. The problem is not the amount of the extra charge, but the fact how it was implemented and informed.
We only stayed one night on our way to the High Alpine Drive but we would come back if ever in the area again. Very friendly, nice room with a little terrace and view, convenient to a very cute town and good breakfast.
Good breakfast. Excellent location. Parking.
Everything was very nice. A little bit nitpicking though: it would be great to have a small fridge in the apartments. Also, automatic switcher of the light is awful at night (we covered it with a cloth)
Clean, friendly family run hotel. Quiet, well placed for Zell am See and easy parking.Good breakfast and BBQ evening meal.
The place was clean and the staff were very nice. You are very close to the train station, so that part is very nice. The balcony had stunning views.
The wifi did not work at all. This made things a bit difficult. Also, we were far from most of the things we wanted to do. However, it is very close to the train station, so you can easily get some places. They have a cool morning letter to tell you things to do. One day, it said we could go sledding. We were very excited, but when we called the sledding place, they said they were closed. The bed was very springy and we could hear the neighbor's TV one night, which I had a very hard time sleeping through.
very clean
The curtains smelled weird. The breakfast was good, but not enough variety
Breakfats and dinner were very tasty and more than enough. Free parking immediately in front of the hotel. A cosy little town with its own flair. Very peaceful and quiet.
Having to log on the WiFi each time I needed it.
Excellent location good food for evening and breakfast
