    Pros +

    • The beds were very comfortable and the room temperature was just right. We also appreciated that they added an extra bed for our 3‑year‑old. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of tasty options to choose from.
    • The location is near airport and ferry station
    • Room, cleanliness, customer service, food, place, everything is fine.

    Cons -

    • Check-in was painfully slow, and we received no information about the facilities or surroundings—only the breakfast hours. This might have been because we stayed just one night.I would say the price is a bit high for what is offered.
    • Food - very basic.Hotel is absolutly not friendly with food to religious that font eat sea food and pork like muslims and jews - in dinnet sometimes thier is no option.I expext to have at least one option of fish that can be eaten that fits theses religiouns.
    • A 4 star hotel doesnt have one person in reception and 1 person at the pool bar everyday. That means you have to stay in the waiting line a lot.A 4 star hotel respects his clients, they didnt want to prepare us a small beakfast earlier with an hour in the day we left because the breakfast started at 7 am, but is not my fault that on this island the only ferry is at 7am or 17:00… anyway i didnt met this in any 4 star hotel in my life. Btw i was pregnant and i had a child and we needed that breakfast that also was paid.

Room, cleanliness, customer service, food, place, everything is fine.

Wi-Fi. I couldn’t managed to connect to my server and couldn’t managed to have video-calls none of the messengers and neither google meet.

Everything was great. The food, entertainment, and service were excellent. When the power went out on the Island, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa switched to its generator, and even the internet continued to work. This was fantastic.

Away from the city just enough. Less than 10 Eros cab to the city. I could hear the waves crashing and the pools were great!

No place to get a snack only during breakfast and dinner hours.

    So smelly the bathroom!

    3AlbertoPosted on: 4-16-2025

    Interiors look cool.

The whole place needs a bit of attention cleaning-wise, including the room entrances (mine was on a corner and had a big amount of dead insects on the ground). At 6am some sort of annoying noisy fan started vibrating all the walls around the bed and was impossible to sleep. Breakfast food was terrible. Dinner food was better, but the whole concept (food areas distribution of the buffet) reminds of a cruise buffet restaurant (it's not a compliment). The balcony was quite dirty, no chairs or table outside (I had to bring them out myself), the coffee machine, nice, but no capsules... Fridge empty and not even working. If you want to use the sauna, you need to book it in advance and it costs 10€ (wasn't told earlier, basically you book it, next thing you see is the POS to pay).If you have dinner included, they give you an annoying bracelet you're supposed to keep all the times with you to pay for drinks during dinner, but funny enough, it didn't even work.

Staff generally excellent with the exception. Location is great. A large room ,with comfortable bed, and an excellent sea view.

Food of poor quality. Luke warm at best. Best option was the fish/meat that was cooked to order. Limited choice of fresh vegetables.

This hotel, built during Spain's period of prosperity with EU funding, now shows some signs of wear, though it remains comfortable enough. Its east coast location offers convenient access to the airport and Santa Cruz, making it easy to get around. However, this positioning also means more clouds and wind, as the sun rises from this side. The room views are pleasant. The half-board meal plan is a good option, although dinner sometimes involves a short wait for a table. Drinks are not included with dinner. The scarcity of guests vying for poolside sunbeds likely stems from the uninvitingly cool water. The small town offers all essential amenities, including cafes and shops. Overall, the island itself is a unique experience compared to the other Canary Islands, boasting lush greenery and a distinct South American feel. It's definitely worth a visit.

    hard to say

We stayed here 2yrs ago; we had a much better experience this time! The quality of the food was really good, lots of choice and everything was fresh. The hotel isn't new but the staff work extremely hard to make sure maintenance is attended to, everywhere is clean, the gardens are in tip top condition and everything works well. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble.

We obviously arrived on a busy day, there was quite a queue at reception and check in took a while. That said, everything was thoroughly explained and any queries answered. Our only criticism was trying to attract the attention of the waiting staff at dinner to order drinks. We were normally greeted promptly on taking our table and a drinks order was taken, it was difficult to order a 2nd drink during dinner.

Good location with regular bus service to Santa Cruz. Great overall service. Comfortable room with sea view. Good choice of food at breakfast. Very pleasant staff.

    Some upgrading required.

Excellent location - 45 minute walk into the centre of La Palma Staff were fabulous and very very helpfulCesar on reception was fabulous! He spent lots of time informing us how to get into La Palma and his to get the bus for our volcano tour we had booked separately. Hotel was spotless Drinks very reasonable Buffet dining room was as expected for the cost of the stay

Our room had a funny smell - like drains but it didn’t impact on our stay The fridge didn’t work but we didn’t report it - so we can’t complain, it didn’t impact our stay We would have preferred a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea - instead we were provided with a coffee machine which was useless!!!

It is in a beautiful location and with helpful staff.

The first night the room totally smelled of sewage. We moved to another room and that room was okay. It is large, old and worn hotel. It needs to be refurbished.

extremely nice room and the restaurant is also quite good. buffet style. nice pool area. relatively close to the ferry terminal. about 5-10 minutes by car.

Easy to park. Very fast to check in. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of hot water, soaps, creams and shampoos to use as well as other complimentary things to use.The heated pool was warm and lovely, although it could have used a quick clean with a pool net as it had lots bugs and bits floating on the top.The restaurant was impeccable. Plenty to choose from and really decent things. The staff in there worked efficiently and quietly like a well oiled machine. Very impressive. The staff in the bar made lovely cocktails and were happy to chat a little with customers as they worked, giving off a friendly local kind of atmosphere. On the whole, a really nice hotel to spend some time to relax and eat.

The heated pool was a bit dirty, with bugs and bits floating on the top.The bar wouldn't make certain cocktails even though they knew how to make them, saying it was because that they weren't on the menu, which was disappointing after paying for all-inclusive. Those two things are all I can think of that I didn't like, on the whole, the hotel was amazing.

    Great location

Air conditioning in room was not working during stay. Felt like a Cruise Ship for food
