View was amazing not far to walk to castle

No staff out of season I think

It was really great propriety. The host was super nice, the breakfast was great. Location perfect. We were looking at Bran castle from our balcony. The shower switched the hot and cold water a bit, but it wasn't a big deal. Definitely worth the price and would come back again.

The location was perfect with gorgeous views of Castle Bran. Owner was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

The proximity to the castle was only 5 minutes away. The owner was incredibly nice. And the view of bran castle was unadulterated which was perfect.

The restaurant for the evening is closed but the owner did his best to accomadate us in every way. Highly recommend.

Great location, got the most expensive room, the one with castle view. What we actually got came with disappointment.

Where do I start? Shower was leaking water on the bathroom floor due to mold and damaged sealing around the shower pan. Towel rack was barely holding on the wall. Door to the room was forced open and did not close, unless locked with the key. Wood door frame broken. No outlets, had to ask for extension cord. Sofa bed un-even, very bad shape, couldn't sleep the first night. Second day asked for a different room, owner was nice to give us a new room, same issues: shower leaking on the floor, no electrical outlets... The worst thing was lack of hot water. One of us was talking a shower and there was no hot water left for the second shower. Had to wait half hour, with soap and shampoo on, to be able to rinse... Low capacity hot water tank for the number of rooms in the building.

The owner was an amazing host and very hospitable. He provided fresh breakfast for all the tenants and told us about the activities going on in the town. Beautiful views of the castle.

We stayed in the summertime so there were many bugs as it is close to a stream, definitely keep a bug spray on hand.

The property is located 5 minutes walk from Bran Castle which makes it ideal for access to the main tourist attraction.

It’s got a pretty front but as soon as you get inside the property a strong musty smell will hit you and never leave you. The room was clean although very outdated. Old and worn furniture and uncomfortable bed. We also did not have hot water on the second day of our stay and there was nobody to report it to.

Was able to check in early and the breakfast was great

The view of the castle is trully stunning, the area outside of the chalet is also very pretty, we were very happy with our breakfast

In general the are is windy. So outside the chalet or in the rooms balconies you cannot spend a lot of time, because it gets cold very soon. The rooms are big and spacious, but could really use a makeover, right now if gives an old hoter (20+ years) vibe. In my opinion the bed was super uncomfortable

The room was clean enough. It could've been better, but decent. The view from the balcony was great.Breakfast was also decent.Parking area in front of the building.

Nothing exactly just that the whole building needs some improvements and I'm not talking about the furniture inside the rooms (old furniture is quite Bran specific), but mainly in the way this pension is being handled by the owner. Seems like a building coming from the past.

Amazing views of Bran Castle. Friendliest Staff. 5-10 mins walk to the castle. Free Parking. Good Breakfast.

The location deserves a special mention as we could see Bran Castle from our bedroom. The Chalet was very cool and the food served was delicious.

Fantastic location, our rooms had views of Bran Castle and snow topped mountains. The rooms were large and furnished in a rustic fashion, as was the rest of the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful and cooked us breakfast. The only small downside was that the kitchen was closed the day we got there so we had to find somewhere else for dinner but there are plenty of other places to eat. Bran Castle was interesting but get there early as it is very busy.

It was a great experience. The view, the room, the sound of the small nearby river made a relaxing and pleasant stay. Plus the owner that made us a hand made breakfast. It is highly recommended in case you visit Bran.

The view of the castle from the balcony was the primary reason I booked this hotel. I wasn't disappointed. Sitting outside, looking at the illuminated castle with the sound of the river flowing alongside us at night, even though it was close to freezing, was blissful. The room and the bathroom were a lot nicer than I expected. The photos don't do them justice. I was there in March and the temperature outside was cold, but the room was nice and warm and the shower had ample hot water. Check in was uncomplicated with a key code at the main door and a room key at reception. The breakfast room had stunning views of the castle and the surrounding countryside. We chose to just have some simple cheese and toast for breakfast, as we weren't hungry, but omelette and eggs were also on offer. Coffee and different teas were available for us to serve ourselves.We were able to use the parking after check out, which was good because it was a mere 10 minutes walk from there to the castle and 5 minutes to restaurants, bars and shops.The owner was very friendly and spent time to chat with us.There is seating outside, with splendid views, just a little bit too cold for us to take advantage of this in March.

A kettle in the room to make a brew when I wake up in the morning would have been the only thing I needed that wasn't a room facility. Even 1 kettle for all the guests to use at their convenience, in reception would be a nice idea with very little expense to the owner.

Property was very rustic and nice. Bed was very comfortable and the view was great. The hosts were lovely people who made the stay that much better. Owner has a lot of great stories, cooks a great breakfast and was kind enough to send via courier a forgotten item. Would definitely recommend

It was really quaint but lovely. The lady, I think her name was Christina, was so so friendly and helpful. We couldnt have asked for more really.

Good location. A bit cold in the room and the hot water, was not exactly hot. Beds a bit uncomfy, but the view compensates.
