The Restaurant service was disatrous. Waiters were running everywhere amd we were proposed a single menu as i t was a monday and they didnt inform us when we reserved or even when we checked in. We had the wine menu and the water along with the starters. We were a bit forced to eat a whole memu in 1 hour.

Great Hotel and staff, beautiful room and great services at dinner.I suggest this structure for hight standard.

Rooms clean and okay size with balconies, splendid views all round, outdoor pool was fair size with good sun aspect, large car park, good breakfast with more lovely views. Golf facilities including a lovely driving range were great and the golf team, especially Thibault and Melanie, were so incredibly helpful, informative and accommodating.

We had two double rooms booked, one stank of smoke upon entry and we are offered another cleaner room, however, the shower in that room could have been cleaner and lights directly above the mirror help no one. Although we didn't book a table, the restaurant was not available for the night of our stay, nor room service, and the staff were totally unhelpful regarding alternative eating options - nothing was suggested or offered at all and they just shrugged when we asked for assistance. This is poor for a large hotel, and if there were limited covers or there was an event, we should have been made aware in advance - nothing via Booking.com or email. Be aware very little was open nearby for eating on our Tuesday night stay, nothing in walking distance. The outdoor pool area was nice enough (lots of bugs) but it and the indoor spa area were messy with used towels left lying around, not to mention the indoor spa pool was more the size of a puddle.

Very rude staff. We were very rudely turned away in the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. We had only just arrived. The restaurant was empty. There are no other restaurant options in the village. A nice member of staff at the bar in the hotel had noticed and helped us get a table but we were not served by the waiters in the restaurant so he looked after us, set the table and took our order. A very unpleasant stay.

Missing information in the room - breakfast time, information about the SPA, information about WIFI, missing do not clean/do not disturb notice. Wifi connection problem.Otherwise everything was fine.

Very good hotel with helpful staff. The location is very beautiful, you wake up to amazing views. Restaurant is very good, but you need to book in advance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Views are amazing!

Nothing to do with the hotel, but if you miss your turn on the highway, you will have to drive one extra hour to get to the hotel.

In evening everything was closed and no possibility to have drinks or something in the room as an alternative. Indoor (and outdoor) pool was very comfortable as wel as the sauna but kind of l”not lively”.

This is really a great hotel. The area is gorgeous, the views are gorgeous, the pool is fantastic, the spa is very nice! We had the outside pool, inside spa (a sauna, hammam and small inside pool) all to ourselves at around 8 PM. Just a great atmosphere. The room was nice and clean. Large walk-in shower. The beds were very comfortable and not too soft. We had a nice morning coffee on the terrace with the views. People were kind. I just really loved this hotel!

the breakfast for high price for me was poor. nothing special. food in restaurant was specific. but wive of the place at all was good.

On a road trip back from northern Spain to Germany on the 1st of January 2023 I decided to book 2 rooms in the Domaine De Saint Clair for my wife my daughter and myself via booking.com and payed in advance via the booking.com portal, the advance payment was 166,43 EUR for two rooms with breakfast. . All was just meant to give us a high quality sleep over&breakfast on our road trip back to Germany.Before I start off and to be fair: The hotel itself, that needs to be said, is a clean, nicely maintained property with a decent breakfast and friendly staff.

Here is the caveat: After our stay, on the 2nd of January 2023 I was asked by the clerk to swipe my card again for room charges. Soon after I saw a push message on my smart phone telling me that my card was charged with 230,50 Euros for two rooms with breakfast.I informed the clerk about the additional, unfounded charge of 230,50 EUR since I prepared via booking.com and he apologized and took my IBAN, promising the money would be wired back in within two weeks. That never happened, unfortunately.An Email to Domaine De Saint Clair, sent on the 19th of January 2023, explaining the situation above, also stayed unanswered as of today (13. Feb 2023)Fraud is a harsh word and I do not want to call it out here (I agreed to get my credit card swiped again on checkout), but for sure I wish for better customer communication and care from a hotel.
