Hotel ibis Budget Laval

A budget hotel for a budget price. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel of this category. Good enough for a 1-night stay. Easy to find, and free parking.

No elevator. A/C was not functioning properly.

Conveniently placed if you need somewhere to stop while on the road. Clean. Friendly staff.

REALLY basic facilities, no bedside tables or charging spots on one side of the bed. No hairdrier provided. The breakfast was very basic for 10 euros per person. Overall not good value for money, for the same price we definitely could have stayed somewhere nicer.

Breakfast adequate. I am gluten free so a little more of that would be good!

If you don't have a car it gets expensive with taxis. I am gluten free so couldn't have dinner there.

I stayed at an ibis the night before and was so impressed I wanted to stay here for my last night of travel. Staff were so welcoming, smiley and friendly. Spoke good English. Very good for the price. Very clean and quiet. My room was huge! Such a great idea having a bunk bed over the top of the bed just in case.Easy to find and right next to the freeway so just get back to your journey first thing. I stayed here because of the polite and friendly staff.

Nothing to add. Didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on the food.

Greeted by friendly reception, even at 1am. Room as you expect for an Ibis Budget, but one of the better ones! Breakfast was great and wonderful staff. Communal parts nice and modern and clean

The reception was lovely. The room immaculately clean. I slept like a log and woke to a great shower with lots of hot water.

Nothing. It was exactly what I wanted, no frills comfortable and cheap after a long drive.

Disappointing

The room wasn't very clean. There were dirt on the floor. The location is very difficult for public transport.

Nice little hotel that serves a purpose. If you want a cheap stop over its perfect. Not too far to a big supermarket with fuel station.

The single beds seemed a bit small. However the mattress was comfortable and the sheets nice and clean.

Quirky in the way the room was for a family of 3, loved the lay out

Reception staff smoking by the entrance door that you had no choice but to walk past and then be servers by her as well and stank of smoke - not a good promotion

The AC was weak. They were aware of this and apologized. It will probably be fixed by now.

Actually slept really well and room was clean and there was plenty of free on site parking. Staff friendly and helpful.

No lift as it's a refurbished old motel, several flights of stairs with suitcase were a challenge. Managed to bash head twice on child's bunk bed positioned over top of main bed.

The breakfast was the only thing that let this stay down. There wasn't enough of everything. Everything had to be asked for and seemed to be in short supply Even cups Also the room that breakfast is served in is for a disabled person in either a wheelchair or a mobility scooter a little cramped and no offer was made to help me as a disabled person get the breakfast unlike at the previous ibis budget hotel I stayed in at Mers les Bains where they fell over backwards to help me

It was ok for a stopover on route to holiday destination. Nice pizza available as there isn’t anywhere handy to get anything to eat unless you want to drive again

Our room wasn’t prepared for 3 of us, no top bed made up- had to do it ourselves. Rather out of the way. Breakfast a bit unorganised, no plates then no cups etc. Member of staff was bit grumpy if you asked for things.

hotel was good, location could always be better but was ok. great pizza and great staff.

cost with breakfast was a bit on the high side.

The staff was very heplfull and kind, very nice people always ready to help with smile, perfect!

Moisture in the bathroom, climatization not working

The stairs, this hotel would not be suitable for people that suffer walking difficulties.

Easy to find, park and access the room. Room was clean and tidy and shower was good

Emails and notifications were spot on with all the information I needed for my stay. Our room was ready for the time I asked. Hotel receptionist was very helpful on arrival, polite and spoke English (althoughwe speak french)
