Friendly staff, clean, 1/2 board- food choices were excellent

Room needed more ventilation

The location is perfect and the hotel is well kept. The breakfast and dinner (which were included in our half board) were both buffet and had good options

No service. No one helped with bags, we had issues with a broken bathroom door and some other small things in the room and no one addressed it, restaurant service was minimal since it's buffet

Location, cleanliness

Food was mediocre, breakfast chef did not understand English communication was difficult, he repeatedly overcooked, omelettes, and eggs. Food selection was minimal, especially the pastries.

They changed our reservation to Elaphusa hotel Food is amazing Beach front Really recommend the hotel

At dinner time there are a lot of staff around, but not all of them are able to take drink orders, so it takes quite a long time before someone comes over. When I asked a lady (who I believe might be an assistant manager), she didn’t really seem to care. But all waiters, kitchen team are amazing

Staff went above and beyond. We had a late ferry and late check in. They saved us dinner (complimentary) due to our late arrival. Great location, great restaurant and bar.

It is not exactly on the sea- it is across the street.

Location is great - 15min walk from ferry terminal, mostly flat. Beach is a minute away. Rooms are good size but the hotel rooms need decoration / renovation.

They could have done much better with this property, especially rooms. No personal touch at all but this is the feeling we have re hospitality in our entire Croatia trip..

Sea, food, location

Booking says 4 stars hotel, but it is actually 3 stars.

Our reservation was canceled due to early closure of Hotel Borak. We were upgraded to a better hotel (Grand hotel Elaphusa) and got room with a sea view. Perfect location and excellent amenities. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Excellent food. Helpful staff.Clean, modern, bright room with balcony overlooking the sea.

Half board paid for and not providing free tap water at meal is a bit unusual had to purchase bottled water and pay for any beverage with dinner

I only can say good, good, good.The first night, I came late (at 11), but they give me something as a dinner that was interesting for me.

Very relaxed hotel with lovely staff. Great location, only a short walk into Bol town and golden horn beach. We had breakfast and dinner and the food was great, lots of vegetarian options. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

The only improvement could be the pool! However the hotel was lovely and we would definitely recommend.

Location, clean and refurbished. Bol is a super little village

It was in a good location, very close to the beach and within a 10 min walk to Zlatni rat beach which was great. They have a buffet if you select it. There were options to chose from but the flavour of the food was bland. The pool was nice and the room clean. The bed could have been more comfortable.

The location was perfect. We were quiet season, it may have been noisier in peak season but good for us at the time we went. The kitchen staff were very helpful with chilling medication as the room fridges were not cold enough. The reception was also very helpful with ferry information as some were cancelled due to the weather

It was a bit expensive and there wasn’t snack options at the bar for a light meal

Good size rooms, comfortable beds and nice staff. Good location. It has access to a beach and a 10 minute walk to Zlatni Rat beach. Breakfast buffet is good. Good for its value

Nothing bad to say

Rooms were a great size, all the staff were so friendly. Really clean too and housekeeping were on it! Great location to the beaches and the pool was clean always a sun bed to go on. Great cocktails and wine :)

The evening food was ok, not much flavour to it, as was breakfast, a lot of food but again no flavour. Coffee at breakfast was terrible, it tastes like plastic , probably from the urn it’s made in, which was disappointing, to get a decent coffee you have to pay at the bar. And no tea or coffees in the rooms. I do think there’s a missed opportunity for the pool bar area to be more vibey, livelier more interactive bar staff (they were so nice tho) and a bit of music. It’s such a nice space

The location was tops!

The lift was ridiculously too small we ended up using the stairs. Also, there was no toilets in the foyer you had to go outside in the heat.

I liked the hotel’s location and the cleanliness of the rooms. Very clean toilet.

We had no shower gel when we arrived and there are no coffee making facilities in the room. I got charged for a coffee at the bar instead. The behaviour of other (older) guests at breakfast and around the pool is very disrespectful. Please make it clear to clients that children do splash water in a pool and that yours is a family hotel so that they should expect this. People were also pushy and mardy. Not the hotel’s fault really, I suppose. People would also put towels down around the pool then go all day and not even use the loungers they’d saved. You need to find a way to limit this sort of selfish behaviour too.
