Mercure Bale Mulhouse Aeroport

After getting royally screwed by Easyjet we were left scrambling to find a hotel for the night when this popped up.Despite arriving well after 10pm there was still someone at the front desk happy to help us and he was the one to offer a shuttle back to the airport without us asking for it. The staff were also kind enough to allow us to use the bar so we could vent our frustrations into a nice craft beer. I made an off-hand comment about being cold, only to be given an extra quilt which made me laugh, but was such a sweet gesture too.The room itself was bigger than expected and had decent facilities - shame about no toothbrush, but that's my fault. Temperature was easy to control, nice shower...everything an annoyed traveller needs and at a respectful price considering the short notice. Thank you to all the staff for giving us a little silver lining.

I almost got into a fight with the towel heater because I am too stupid to know how to turn it off.

Hotel is close to the airport. Free shuttle. This was the reason we booked it

The toilet did not seemed cleaned as it should be between guests.It was cold. The heating was off.. the room has tiles and in december .the floor was freezing when we arrived and we have small children. It did not warmed as it should have after we opened the heating.The restaurant was closed on christmas eve...i get it...but its not normal to offer nothing wheb everything is closed .. we had something bought from town..otherwise, i dont know what my children would have eaten.

Great hotel for recharging on the way. Very comfortable beds for great sleep, excellent swimming pool and hearty breakfast.

Location is very convenient, with a shuttle service to/from the airport. Room was of great size and bathroom was sparkling clean. Restaurant was fantastic.

Most staff were unwelcoming, especially morning and day staff. Evening staff were much better.

Very clean and pleasant airport hotel. The restaurant facilities, bar and other features were welcome and appreciated. Outstanding breakfast.

Very close to the airport and provides free airport transfer. Good as a hotel for very early flights in Basel airport.

Nice sauna and pool. Good food in the restaurant. Clean rooms. Free airport transfer to/from the hotel.

Front desk very helpful

The bartender originally said our draft beers were 12 euros each…when we showed surprise at that expense he charged us 10…Beer delivered room service was 8.50.

Room was clean and quiet. The staff was very polite and the food was good for both dinner and breakfast.

We stayed one night during a long road trip—a great choice! Close to the highway with a large, free parking lot. The ground floor has a bar and pool area; staff are kind and attentive. Dinner at -1 floor restaurant was plentiful and tasty. Our first-floor room was spacious, with a mini-kitchen, large comfy beds, a work desk, kettle, and a big bathroom with a Japanese-style smart toilet and bathtub. No entertainment or restaurants nearby. Pet-friendly.

The restaurant was nice. Decent menu, friendly staff. The location was good.

Our room was not made up from previous guest. Sheets and towels were all over. Our room was directly over the parking lot where a bus came in a 9pm unloading guests. Very loud. Also, we never received morning wakeup call...which is why we booked there to be close to the Airport for a 5 30 am checking in. I asked for a checkout receipt, the person on duty said it would come from Booking. com, not them so I couldn't verify anything. It showed up in my email later that day. But in French which I cannot read.

Very well localed airport for early flights. The free transport (Tesla car for the very early transfers) is reliable and quick. Confortable beds and quiet hotel

The location isn’t at the airport (although there is a free shuttle bus) the room was very basic and the staff were ok.Unless you have a car, getting anywhere from here is very expensive

You are really stranded without transport if you are looking to see the local area ( there is a supermarket opposite) . Arriving late at night , you have to contact the hotel directly to ask for the shuttle bus . Entirely acceptable, however I was cut off 3 times before getting through . Then the instructions ti the collection point are not entirely clear . Is it straight outside the doors ? Or further into the car park? Not what is needed at the end of a travelling day. If I were to do the trip again, I would stay in Basel.
