No way the reviews are accurate to what we experienced

First time I’ve ever had to call out reviews as fake. Road in looks deserted, fence falling down by pool. They hang out their linen to dry so it’s either damp or hard as a rock like sandpaper. They use a very overpowering air freshener in the room causing my friend to have an asthma attack. Lights burnt out in hall and on the stairway. Loved that they had the US flag up but unfortunately it is torn to shreds, very offensive and disrespectful. We moved hotels after a few hrs on property due to overbearing scent in room. Not what I aspecting.

Breakfast, the room they want to be in wasn’t good place, than they put us on different where was for 3 people and they had to extra bed.

we were very satisfied with everything. Breakfast was very delicious, the rooms were clean, the pool was great, and the staff were very attentive.

The location was great, but the walking path to the sea was bad; when it rained it became muddy, so we couldn’t go to the sea.

Perfect & quiet place, especially for a family vacation ...The rooms were all renovated , and the view from the balcony is breathtaking..The pool is a great value for the hotel.Friendly and helpful staff !

Only thing i didn't like to much, is the private beach area,but this is not their fault because all the beaches around that area are the same !

The one truly amazing part of this stay was the sea view from the balcony—absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. That said, even the best sunset photo is slightly disrupted by the neighboring property in the frame. The views are undoubtedly the highlight and make breakfast and dinner feel special, with dinner being fresh and enjoyable. Breakfast was just okay, but again, the view makes up for it. The staff were polite and responsive, helping us with a tea kettle, cups, and beach towels when we requested.However, the overall experience didn’t quite match the pictures on Booking.com—whoever did the photography, kudos to them, because the reality is more underwhelming.

We stayed for 2 nights and while the location has potential, the experience fell short in several areas. The access road to the property is still under development and quite rough. There was no housekeeping service during our stay, and the WiFi didn’t work—even in the public areas as advertised.Several amenities were not as expected: the table tennis equipment was very worn out, the kids’ pool was out of use and not maintained, and the cabanas didn’t look like the covered ones shown in photos. The beach is not easily walkable due to the condition of the surrounding roads.Inside the room, the AC worked but the swing function was broken, there was no dustbin provided, and no drinking water was placed in the room. The bathroom was spacious, but due to its design, the floor remained wet after each shower, which was inconvenient.With improvements to maintenance, service, and facilities, this property could become a solid option—but as of now, it feels incomplete.

Very nice detached house with access to an incredible view of the mountains and pool. It was clean, all amenities are available in the room. TV, small fridge, hairdryer. There is an unheated salt water pool on the territory, but due to the hot sun it did not prevent us from swimming there, there are sunbeds and separate towels for the pool. There is also a private beach, which is very convenient. The breakfasts were delicious, and there is also a small restaurant right on the premises with low prices and delicious food. The hotel grounds are very clean and well landscaped, with many trees, including fruit and olive trees. There are also cats running around, which immediately adds +1000 to the positive impression. The staff is very friendly and does everything possible to make your stay comfortable. We liked it very much and will definitely come back.

I liked everything

After a disappointing stay in Sarandë, Edva Resort in Vlore completely turned my opinion around about Albania. I only stayed one night, but I wish I had spent the whole week here. The large, clean pool filled with seawater was a highlight for me, and the restaurant by the pool had impeccable service with reasonable prices. Though I didn't get a chance to visit the private beach, the breakfast was exactly what you'd hope for – plentiful and delicious. The owner was incredibly attentive, even offering us an apartment for extra comfort, but we opted for a family room for privacy, which was perfect. The resort is surrounded by olive, lemon, and orange trees, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. Instead of overpaying in the south for subpar accommodations and beach access, I highly recommend staying at Edva Resort for an unforgettable experience in Albania.

Cozy hotel with friendly and helpful reception staff. The room and bathroom are modern, and the large pool, though not heated, is great. Also the poolside restaurant/bar was good.

Likely due to the end of the season, the afternoon drink selection was limited. The location is a bit inconvenient to reach and not ideal for walking, as it's surrounded by construction. Also, the breakfast selection could be more varied for those who prefer a sweet breakfast. WiFi connection wasn’t good in the room.

It's a great venue at the top of a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. It's just glorious. Watching the sunset there is an event in itself. There is a lovely salt water pool, a restaurant and relaxation area. The rooms are spacious and clean, you receive free towels for the local, private beach where you can relax on the sunbeds and eat at the local restaurant. There are useful shops within walking distance and the weather was wonderful. The staff are friendly, helpful & kind and to top it all, there are four beautiful cats who have free reign of the space! Everyone is professional but there is a lovely informalness to the running of the place. They are gorgeous. And at the same time, they do not intrude on your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The road up to the hotel isn't so easy to climb for some at the moment until there is a clear path but it's worth the effort if you don't have a car. The shower in the room is wonderful and powerful but the drainage needs looking at, perhaps a simple hole needs to be placed next to the grid that is already there. Else the water almost floods the shower room.I think they need to invest in more room keys. And people need to bring them back. So that you can go off and spend the day alone away from friends/partners/family without having to communicate where the one room key is at any point.Personally, I could have done without the music playing around the pool area, at least not constantly, it was not to my taste!:) I tend to prefer silence but there is a cross dynamic of generations so it might appeal to some dance music lovers.I fell ill on my last day, whether from something I ate or a virus that was apparently around. Perhaps it's always a good thing to research such things ahead of time, and to bring a small pharmacy ahead of time. Wherever one travels, anything can happen. However, I was well taken care of by the proprietor, Hilda.And it has not put me off visiting the venue again in the future:)

The sea view was to die for,the cleanliness, the salty water pool, the restaurant and the amazing staff members were always there to help us with anything we needed 24h.

Good Room, beautiful swimming pool

The street to reach the hotel is inclined and not with asphalt. A bit difficult to drive.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They helped us with every request of ours. The pool is beautiful and at a very nice temperature. We could have stayed there all day! The restaurant attached to the hotel has a good price range. And the food is very delicious!

The Wi-Fi is not very stable.

Hello, my friends and I rested at the hotel for 8 days, the hotel was good. But the location of the hotel is more suitable for family vacations, because it will be a bit boring for young people. The hotel is nice, the air conditioner/mini fridge in the room worked. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The food is very tasty, the sea is really a few minutes walk away. We liked everything!

Our stay at Edva Resort was overall very pleasant. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, and even gave us the tip to drink Corona beer with salt around the neck of the bottle – something i had never tried before but found surprisingly good! The location is beautiful, and the pool is clean and well-maintained.

A small downside was that there was no furniture on the terrace in front of our room, which made it less comfortable to sit outside. However, the owner promised to consider adding furniture next year, which we really appreciated. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay and the peaceful surroundings."
