Staff friendly and helpful. We had apartment with washing machine which allowed us to set off with clean clothes for the rest of our trip - important when traveling by motorbike with limited luggage ?

This is an old stately hotel in the city center with large classically furnished rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean.The hotel is located next to a beautiful park and with pubs and eateries nearby. Behind the hotel are a few parking spots that can be used by hotel guests, and there is also another small parking lot of the hotel somewhere in the neighborhood--good to announce at the receptionist if you park in either of those two places.

The airco in the room did not work, which really caused issues with sleeping at night during the hot summer time.If you need to open the windows/balcony door for air/cooling down the room, the square downstairs is too noisy for sleeping and the noise also starts early.The breakfast is ok, if you don't have too high expectations.

There is a very appealing 19. century Habsburgian flair to the rooms and the building in general. You will like it as well as its prominent position in the inner city of Satu Mare while still having very comfortable parking opportunities.

The hotel was old, smelly, in the bed I found living bugs.

It was a good price and dogs are allowed for reasonable price too. Also the location was great and with available free parking. The hotel would need some renovating as it has a lot of potential. It's a beautiful historic building.

There was dirt on the floor, mostly under the bed and smelly bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was so low that it was impossible to take a shower with hot water. The receptionist woke me up at around 6 to tell me that there was breakfast (i tried to get some sleep after coming very late). I suggest everyone to disconnect the hotel phone upon arrival. Also the toilet was leaking a bit. The wifi was very weak.

Large and very high rooms, quite old antique and personalized furniture. Breakfast not very diverse, but sufficient.

The hotel is located ultra-centrally, unfortunately the area is a huge construction site, the parking lot behind the hotel, next to some old and abandoned buildings. At the entrance to the hotel it said "Tourism Agency" and we thought that was not the hotel. I think it should benefit from some renovations.

Old, with old windows, broken curtains, outdated bath with small shower tub, shower curtains are 20 cm from the tub and all the bath gets full of water because of that

Central location. Good modern restaurant opposite. Amazing wooden pigeon-hole arrangement for room-keys behind reception.

Characterless, despite seemingly dating from the Habsburg Empire. Street noise late into the night (rowdy passers-by). Mosquitoes. Ineffective mosquito plug.
