Hotel Douro Inn

From the outside this place looks a little rundown but that is not the case inside. We were really happy with the location and the value for money. Safe parking was easy to obtain outside the hotel.

Booked at the last minute and got the last available room. The staff was very kind. There was a parking spot right across the street. There is a market nearby. We enjoyed our one-night stay and breakfast the next morning was fabulous!

The outside is a bit run down but the inside is very nice.

It was not at the hotel but a house nearby. It was a big house with plenty of room for everyone.

There’s a church next to it and the bells toll every 30 minutes, day or night. There was no internet connection available for us to upload our photography photos which we had to do on our personal phones and data plans!!!

A lovely hotel in a friendly and interesting mountain village. Room was comfortable, clean and modern. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the street below. Staff are wonderful, very helpful and provide recommendations for restaurants and sights. Good value. I definitely recommend staying here.

We got in late in the evening but the gentleman working the reception desk went out his way to accommodate us. Since there was no food available at that late time at the hotel he called a couple of local establishments to find out what time they were closing. We ended up sitting in the empty hotel bar with the same gentleman serving us drinks after a very long day. He was very friendly and informative and helped us decide what we were going to do the following day. It turned out to be a great memory and wonderful travel experience. The breakfast the following morning at the hotel dining room was good. The room was very nice with nothing lacking.

No light over mirror for shaving one towel for a 2 day stay very little toilet roll,awake both mornings at 05.30 with traffic noise,I just couldn't believe it for a small village.hotel located on a busy junction with a cobblelock road surface outside hotel making traffic noise horrible.i was travelling on a motorcycle and was wrecked for the two days.hotel should invest in triple glazing.

The hotel was right in the center of Tabuaço

The hotel seemed a little bit abandoned. It seems there was a restaurant in the past but now it was not functional and closed. Additionally, the hotel did not have an elevator.

Comfortable room, good shower. Good location in Tabuaçu. Close to the main interest points.

The 2nd night stay was terrible could sleep before 4:00 in the morning due to a “fiasta” music stage 20 m from the room making windows and shutters vibrations
