    Pros +

    • The food was wonderful and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helped us out when we had issues. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the area. Highly recommended
    • Very well positioned on the camino. All-in-one option: alberque, restaurant and market. Very good meal and big big portions.
    • Clean and comfortable - right on the Camino. Good food!

    Cons -

    • The washing machine and dryer are next to the beds and are too loud .. especially the dryer was so so loud.
    • There is no fridge which is unusual for an albergue. It was cold enough to leave things at the window, though
    • The full 18-bed dormitory has only two bathrooms. Each bathroom has both a shower and a toilet inside, meaning only two people can use them at the same time. As a result, there were often lines to use the facilities.

Perfect Albergue for Camino Primitivo, especially if you don't know if you'll do Hospitales or Pola (good option for both). Nice individual rooms with private bathroom. The individual rooms have more of a hotel feeling. Great supermarket including fantastic options like artisan bread, fruits and local cheese. Very nice staff.

This is a nice albergue with great facilities, including a supermarket and a restaurant nearby, which makes it very convenient.

The full 18-bed dormitory has only two bathrooms. Each bathroom has both a shower and a toilet inside, meaning only two people can use them at the same time. As a result, there were often lines to use the facilities.

I had a comfortable, clean room. The food at the restaurant was delicious, I had both lunch and breakfast. Adjoining store had all kinds of amenities. There isn't much else in the area but this is a good place to stay if you are on the camino.

Other people tend to slam the doors of the rooms, you didn't have to but I don't know what could be done about that other than maybe a notice on the door.

The mattress and pillow were with memory foam, very comfortable, cotton bedsheets.

    Everything was ok.

Clean, comfortable, they let hang out there past the checkout time. There is a restaurant with great burgers and a good store, which is great as you need supplies for the Camino stage that follows. And great view

The staff had very little English and very little patience.

Great location before the long haul up to Los Hospitales. Exceptionally friendly/helpful hosts

Bathrooms were a bit swampy. Bring bath shoes

Has all the best elements for a pilgrim traveler: right in the route, bar, hotel area, integrated food market. Inside and out seating. All meals available. Clean, well kept, very attractive. The service was absolutely top notch. Judith was especially helpful with many items.

    Really nothing.

    3DalePosted on: 5-7-2025

    It was clean.

For a “town” that only exists because of pilgrims, they seem to not actually like pilgrims. They just seemed rather rude overall to guests who were not locals in the store/restaurant which is all the same owners. The alburgue is just one big room with beds, some tables, w/d all in the same room.

    10MiroPosted on: 2-6-2025

Everything was excellent. Food was delicious, extra fine. The room was great. Personel was excellent. Comfortable room, great bathroom, clean. Warm and cozy bar with charm. All the best. Warm recommendation for future travelers.

Casa Herminia is a really special place. The room was great, the food was excellent, and the landlady was motherly in the best way. The whole place had a great vibe.

    Clean beds.

Honestly, this place is 100% commercial stuff, I did this reservation because another albeurge was full. However this is albuerge for piligrims, but owners didn't put a refrigerator and when I asked owners to put my food in a refrigerator in the bar they told me: ''No'' ok it what it is, but if you guys doing albergue you have to think about customers I'm not sure is too expensive, In conclusion in that albergue not enough space for sitting inside and packing my stuff at morning because I 100% bothering another piligrims. So, for piligrims I can say, to stay in another place.

This property is situated very well for anyone traveling the Camino. It is fully stocked with a grocery store and hardware/camping supplies and great for staging before a very long next day on the Camino Primitivo. The rooms were clean and lovely. Nice views!

Patio could use a little upgrading.
