Hotel Schloss Ragaz

Stayed here for New Year the year before so I knew what to expect. Easy check in, very comfortable room. .Excellent dinner in the evening and good breakfast before we left.

Nothing, it was all fine.

Breakfast was fantastic!! Location near Tamina was super convenient.Facilities on set were lovely.

Better toiletries in bathroom.

We really enjoyed the Spa, massages and the Breakfast was very good. Location is just a few minutes walking from the Thermal.baths which we also would highly recommend doing??.

Overall really good we just think that the reception seemed a bit rushing when we got therr and we didn't have much answers to what we were asking.

Good sauna, a spacious room with a mountain view, and attentive staff who mailed me the items I had forgotten.

It feels like the rooms in the castle haven’t been renovated since the 1980s. The bed is broken, the floor creaks, there are moths in the bathroom, and the power outlet for the hairdryer is more than two meters above the floor. The layout is very odd.Plus, the spa unit is located outside the hotel, and I had to go there fully dressed (in winter).

The castle is such a beautiful old treasure with charm.The staff at the restaurant was great and very friendly.

The whole property is around the garden, not well accessible, nor clean, very old rooms with some not so charming insects. The lodges are new but lack all kind of charm. The spa is very smelly and not very welcoming.Very bad condition of the facility.

Restaurant was good, breakfast buffet nice.

Not very clean, no bar/area to get drinks. First room we were given had many cobwebs, phone not working.

Great hotel location and excellent service. The rooms are spacious and very clean. On the day of our early departure for the Bernina Tour, the staff kindly prepared sandwiches and fruit for us in the morning. Special thanks to the maître d’ for the helpful advice and recommendations — they really helped us make the most of our stay. We are very satisfied!

It would be even better if there were a small fridge in the room. Overall, we are very satisfied!"

The pool and spa were pleasant. The breakfast was great. The parking just behind the room. The staff is ok.

Using the app booking to book the room and we get the room the more far away from the castle. Weather is hot when we stay but no air conditioning in the room, difficult to sleep.

Nice location in Bad Ragaz. The room was big, but a little dated and could use an upgrade. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and local products. We would come back just for the breakfast.

"We had a wonderful one-night stay at Schloss Hotel Bad Ragaz while travelling home from Scuol. Our family room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a perfect stopover. We especially enjoyed the wellness centre, which offered a relaxing break after our journey. For dinner, we dined at the hotel restaurant, where a delicious Indian buffet—apparently a local highlight—was served. The next morning, breakfast was beautifully presented as a buffet, offering a great start to our day. Overall, a lovely and refreshing stay!"

I would have loved to have stayed longer

Room too far from hotel. Strange because there were enough rooms vacant. Minibar empty, no coffee or tea at the room. Bed to be replaced urgently. Restaurant was so so.Room very depressing, not even something like a painting on the empty walls. Cannot imagine People are willing to be here for a longer stay.

Great location in a park with a nice view to the surrounding mountains. 5min walk to the famous thermal bath. Great starting point for many activities in the neighbourhood.

Bedding quite hard, which may not be to everyone’s taste. The pillows were quite thin and there weren’t any extra in the room (but I’m sure I would have received an extra if I had asked)

1. Horrible stuff experience - they over charge me for a few stains on the mattress cover due to my gf sickness. They were rude and unwelcoming.2. Extremely small breakfast esp. relative to the high price3. Didn't offer help in finding a taxi as there is no shuttle service

The Indian food in the Restaurant and the ease of access by taxi to and from the train.

The room was located in a separate building, a good distance from the main hotel. There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room, so just to get a tea or coffee, requires a brisk walk to the main building.

Location, the historical charm. Parking included. Very spacios room, large terasse. Restaurant with Indian character, a pleasant surprise. Staff friendly, helpful.

Very old furniture and infrastructure in the room (to match the legacy, 'castle' image? Could benefit however from renovation).Also noisy rooms, can hear neighbours walking and when walking vibration sent into the whole room. Unfortunately found also 2 stink bugs (pentatomidae), very unplesant. Too expensive IMHO for the quality offered...unexpected for a swiss hotel.
