Hotel TISA

The girls at the reception were very nice. They smiled at us all the time and did everything they could to help us with some booking problems. Even they even spoke English and call for us at Booking.

The breakfast and the saunas can be improved!

- the breakfast was very bad and pour quality food, the same things every day.- also the pool was horrible - cold water, strong smell of chlorine, very hot temperature stand up level, cold at the pool level....- the restaurant services and food another nightmare: 40-60 min to take the order and another 40-60 min to bring it, considering that the restaurant was not even half occupied ....and so on.....

Room very clean and spacious. Balcony is big with nice view. Breakfast very good.

Not kids friendlyNot even one paper to draw or a toy or a kids corner or anything like it.Although the hotel is full of children, they are not children friendly. There is literally nothing to do for a child other than to swim. Not even one tiny thought of children or families with children. And it gets noisy from the children. The rooms are not sound proof and there is a lot of noise from the families that goes around the hotel in the evening or morning.Slow service, not paying attention to the people’s needs like making sure that if a child’s orders you should bring the food fast and not still waiting after 45 minutes.

I would recommend the Hotel Tisa for: cleaning,location,breakfast.

I would say the price is high, it is comparable with a night stay at Poiana Brasov having the same conditions.The double room is too small for a family of three persons.

- we booked the cheapest room; however, it was facing the city, and had a nice view of the park; we were amazed...- clean and spacious room, internet working fine, tv, curtains and so on.- Even a nice balcony, to sit in the evening and watch (and listen) to the musical fountain, while drinking beer to cool off.- the room has a refrigerator, for our drinks... however, this gives out heat :) - the mattresses were very, very soft.- the hotel is situated a little up the hill, ENSURING A NICE VIEW... parking spaces are available some 200 meters away, and also on the streets (there are no fines).. - the pool is nice enough... could have been a little larger, but it is ok. - the breakfast was almost ok... almost enough variety, but in the last 2 hours, they don't replenish the food that gets eaten.. the coffee could have been better, however :) i would have liked some cappuccino... - food at the restaurant is delicious. - if we come back to Olanesti, we would certainly try to return to this hotel.

- every morning, the nearby "Hotel Central" has ANNOYING MUSIC on their terrace. At 12 o'clock, they stop the music. Why? WHAT IS THIS NON-SENSE ?? why don't they have music in the evening? why in the morning? it's disrespectful towards us, who want to sleep after breakfast; WE ARE ON VACATION!- too hot in the room, the AC was 'working' but it was not cooling the room, at all! It is "old style" AC system... - in the morning, the sun heats the room a lot, making it very hot.- just one elevator. - too many old men, i don't' understand exactly what kind of pseudo-medical procedures they undertake.- on the balcony, we saw ants walking by, even if we were on the second floor... the next day, we understood why: the neighbors had FOOD on the balcony.. they were eating dinner in the rooms, instead of going to restaurants :)- at the pool, all the time there were people smoking outside, in the doorway... and, the fumes were entering the pool's room... very annoying. - at the pool, women were entering, without having their hair tied on. And many persons were entering, without taking a shower first! THIS RULES SHOULD BE ENFORCED BY THE HOTEL'S PERSONNEL!- i heard there was an 'aqua park', but i could not find it... - the prices at the restaurant were a little higher than expected; or, the portions a little too tiny, compared to the prices :)

My husband and I were very thrilled with the whole experience at Hotel Tisa, their Water Park, massage services, and friendly staff! We also highly recommend their medical staff which was highly knowledgeable and caring. Overall it was a stellar experience and whenever we come back to visit Romania, we will definitely go back!

The room was big and clean. The water of the pool is a bit cold and they do not increase the temperature of it. They said is fine as it is.

Food. We had some not good food at the restaurant. Also very expensive. Staff is small, waiting time is big.

This experience definitwly made us feel as though we time warped to the 80s! One room balcony had the view of the city and mountains but our other room had a view of other people rooms which made it unpleasant to open the curtains. The rooms and hotel are very clean .

The facilities are outdated, entrance is via a very strange Corridor. The morning we checked out we rolled our bags thru a long line of people with papers and open doors with people receiving some kind of treatment. The pool is much smaller than it seems on the photo. Also - the pictures show slides and a pool bit this Spa facilitate is actually at a walking distance (500 meters in the rain seems like forever) and at an extra cost!!

Breakfast was good.

We had a family room. The hotel has many buildings and the way to get to our room was like a labyrinth , we had to climb until 1st floor, walk down a corridor, get to another corridor, pass by the pool, climb another flight of stairs and then get to a lift. We had a 3 year old with us, not very convenient, carrying all the luggage and the child. The apartment had outdated furniture, an uncomfortable sofa and a comfortable double bed. The spa is also located in another building, approximately 500 m away from the hotel.

Big room and very nice. Loved the shower and the overall cleaness.

No soundproofing. Could not sleep all night because of noises. Too hot, pillows and beds and not so comfy.

I did like the facilities of the hotel, the big room, the location and the food was very good.

Restaurants overall. Staff overwhelmed and lack of breakfast supplies. People were constant complaining of ni cofee, no watter, etc. Also staff from restaurant is not that friendly. Maybe due to so many complaints.

The hotel is great for a 3* compared to many others in Romania or abroad. The staff was nice and helpful and the location has great facilities with an amazing spa! Totally recommend buying the room with spa access. Special thanks to the staff at the spa who were over the expectations! Amazing program at the sauna!

Not necessarily something unpleasant but the parking spot was 300 m from the hotel if you don't find one in front of it.

Everything was quite good, the food, the accommodation, the facilities. A big plus was the free access to Aquapark Tisa Spa Resort .

I did not like the drilling machine noise in the morning. it is not a good way to wake up..

Location was great.

No fan in the bathroom, therefore high humidity.Fruit and vegetable for breakfast were not at all cleaned or washed.Opaque curtained needed for a good night sleep!
