RIVER Hotel & SPA

Everything here is amazing. This was our second time visiting this hotel and we would surely be back again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and neat. Maria at the spa is wonderful and I highly recommend getting a massage with her! Both pools are clean and well maintained and the kids pool is big enough for parents to stay comfortably with their little ones. The breakfast buffet is great with plenty of options and even the a la carte menu at the restaurant is very good. If you're looking for a place that has it all, for peace even when it's fully booked, then this is it. We will be back.

Everything besides the staff of the restaurant ? The pool is amazing, the rooms are over 3 stars, the location is really good and the views are spectacular.

The staff of the restaurant was really not up tot the standards of the hotel. They were rude, agitated and not kind/ welcoming at all.

Deserve 5 star's,the food, personal, clean,good smelling, recommend with all my heart, excellent for the family!

There is nothing negative about this hotel. The location is beautiful and easily accessible, the private parking is spacious and under camera surveillance. The rooms are beautiful, warm, there is a home-like feeling. The bed mattress is very comfortable, also my relative had an excellent sleep in spite of their back problems. The room is also very quiet. The hotel atmosphere is lovely. I have to emphasize the attitude of the staff - they are so wonderful, professional and smiling. All of them: at the reception, restaurant, cleaning and maintainance, and manager. The food is amazing. Breakfast has a variety of everything, very tasty! We also had the dinner at the hotel every evening during our stay, the menu is very well put together, a lot of tasty options. Our dinner was perfect every time, we tried the "dorada" fish with polenta, eggplant salad, shrimp salad, salmon-avocado starter, "papanasi" desert... The spa is wonderful with inside + outside pool, Finnish and salt saunas, and lovely music. Last, but not least, all places (indoor + outdoon hotel premises) are spotless clean. This is our second time at River hotel and we are looking forward for our next stay. <3

Everything was incredible. From the staff, the facilities, the cleanliness, rooms, food, etc. We do not have anything negative to say. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. The breakfast is also amazing with a wide variety and high quality. Ms. Maria at the spa gives an excellent massage - I highly recommend her. The thermal pool has a great temperature, and the mini pool for kids is also good. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice temperature. You even get free tea, coffee, and water in the room. There's also a mini fridge with extra snacks. You are provided with bathtowels, towels for the spa, robes, and slippers. The cleanliness all around is amazing. This place definitely deserves more than 3 stars. It exceeded our expectations, and we will surely be back. Thank you.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Staff was always there to assist. By the pool, there was a lady, always moping the extra water and taking drinks order. Both massage therapist were excellent. Water temperature was great. Food was good and coming in big portions. Breakfast was rich and had a lot of options. Restaurant staff was attentive and offering help when the line at the coffee machine was long. Immediately replacing any food or drink items that finished. Rooms are spacious, clean, very good mattresses, lights are enough, bathroom and amenities as per 4 stars hotel. Very happy with the time we spent there. We had a surprise celebration, the hotel was very accommodating and made the day special. Thank you!.

The spa and the restaurant. It is a very nice experience overall!

The room was too hot ( and did not manage to reduce the temperature), and the mattresses were too soft for our liking.

Very clean hotel, excellent food at the restaurant, loved the exterior pool.

Crowded spa, hotel is tucked between other buildings, there is no green or empty space left, feels overwhelming.

Nice location, we didn't explore much because you have everything that you need in this complex.Room size was good, had all amneties for a 4 star hotel and with a nice view of the river.Breakfast was ok with lots of choices and parking on site was great.The pools were great.

Cleaning could pay more attention to details but overall the hotel is clean.

Everything about the hotel itself was great: the room, the spa, location, the massage therapist is an excellent expert.The hotel is full quite often even though it has many rooms for its scale - that tells smth.

It's a small place so the territory and more place in the spa zone is lacking - the pool is spacious but to get to it I had to step very carefully between the chezlongs...the massage cabinet is equipped but it's just in the same place with spa and music from the spa zone hits over the music in the cabinet so while you're trying to relax you actually try not to listen this mess. Anyways those are the little things, can't say they are disappointing.The real frustration comes from the hotel restaurant: there are no places around to go eat much, and all of them look kind of the same. The reviews for the hotel say that food is amazing but...it is definitely not :( The meat and fish all come from frozen and even if the product itself was good, the way to defreeze and to cook it should be chosen carefully otherwise it has no taste, burned, etc. The desserts were too sweet, even though papanași was great but it would be really much better with much less sugar. The restaurant kitchen and menu really requires a proper revisit to keep the guests the same excited as they get after the rooms and spa impressions.

Good facilities, , comfortable, good parking area, nice view if you book riverfront rooms.The food was excellent a la carte.

The niche above the bed was fool of spider webs and even a spider, hard place to clean, but still. In the end everything was solved on cleaning request. The bad small in the bathroom, probably from the sewer.
