Hôtel du Pont

A very nice reasonably priced hotel for a short stay. We were there for one night. The beds were very comfortable and we had a view of the river from our balcony. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of room for our things. The breakfast was excellent, better than I was expecting. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for us to have it outside which must be very pleasant when you can.

Nothing. It was all very pleasant and enjoyable - a good start to our holiday.

Our bed was full of hairs. Not just one or two but loads all over the bed and in the quilt too. I am not sure if the sheets were actually changed from the previous guest. We went down to Reception to ask for clean bedding, but the staff had all gone for the evening. The only thing we could do was to take off the sheets and shake them out, so we had a very uncomfortable sleep.Also the back of the curtains were full of mould.

Location was beside the pretty village of Ascain, room was great and breakfast was very satisfactory.

The parking was ample but not secure, there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and those in the village were quite busy.

It was one quick stop during our roadtrip and it was near to the frontiere and the price was correct

Room extremely small could barely walk around the bed. Bed was not so comfortable

Well located on main road, short walk to the town. Good room with balcony overlooking the river. Room at the back so very quiet.Interesting little town with many eateries.Very helpful receptionist for keeping my bike safe and lending me cutlery, etc.Got very good rate from Booking.

Nice hotel in great location didn't know the hotel was closed after 7pm but it was February luckily we had called ahead and instructions were left for us to gain access

Staff highly unfriendly. Did not make the invoice in my company name. It was the first time it happened in my life! The conditions of the Hotel are terrible!

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Due to Easter weekend we were having great difficulty to find lodging and this hotel came up as the only one available with a reasonable price. The location is next to the main road but our room was overlooking a very beautiful and peaceful little river with lots of green and trees and the view of the bridge. The room was small but very updated with plenty of storage place. The bathroom had a great shower and it was of decent size. The beds were very confortable and the room, although the hotel was full, was very quiet. Breakfast, at a small price, was plentiful and yummy.

Comfortable bed.

No facilities at the hotel apart from an average breakfast. Should at least have a fridge in the room so you could buy your own food/drinks. The male receptionist was not particularly welcoming or helpful & didn't seem to know his job.

Clean and new

The bathroom door was very difficult to open and got stuck. The blankets and pillows were harsh and didn't feel like cotton. The mattress was too firm, not comfortable.

Its a really nice hotel, with a kind staff. The location is good in case you dont go with car because you have the bus
