    Pros +

    • The staff were very helpful and the location is good
    • The hotel was great, it had it all. It was clean, the room was a bit small but not a problem, bed was comfy, toilet was clean. It was a bit far from the city center but the Saint Mande Metro line 1 stop was just a minute away so it was not a problem. Breakfast was great. Just great, if you are looking for a nice hotel that doesn’t cost a lot of money, this is it.
    • Excellent location, close to the metro line 1. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

    Cons -

    • Only cons were that the rooms do not have AC (understandable), the toilet flusher buttons didn't work well, and the key is a hole-punched card that is cumbersome and easy to break
    • There weren’t slippers, that’s all.
    • Toilet sit so dirty, not clean very well. Toilet door cant open properly coz it stuck the sink and cant close too. Window cant closed good too. No any brush tooth, tooth paste, no ironing,… Electric plug with type C only. Nothing there except hair dry, towels, bath/ hand wash liquid. I paid full money ( plus city tax) but hotel reception said “ NO INCLUDE BREAKFAST!”.

    Paris is very nice ?

The staff were great, helpful and very welcoming. Very close to the Saint Mande metro station only a 2 minute walk. Metro line 1 gets you to touristy Paris direct.

Bathroom was small but sufficient to be ok for a short stay. Quite a treck from central Paris which was around a 20 minute journey.

Tiny room but very clean. The staff was very kind and breakfast lovely and generous

If you are travelling as a couple I would upgrade the room.

It was clean, the staff were friendly and it was in a lovely location. Saint Mandé is a pretty place on a convenient metro line for visiting landmarks.

Location next to Metro and local dining was good.

Very small cramped room, hard mattresses, no hot water in shower for 3 days due to defective mixer tap. Limited power points, no heating (ancient air-conditioning unit not working). Window covered with opaque sheet - no view.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, attentive, gentle. We stayed for 22 days and we loved the location, the friendliness, the courtesy. We feel completely welcomed. Merci Sofien, Boris et les autres messieurs. One "marché" is in front to the hotel some days, you could buy fruits, clothes and other charming products. Monoprix is near, you have boulangeries, and the metro station is in the corner. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and beautiful.

We went in summer, it is necessary that the rooms have air conditioning.

Friendly check in, comfortable room, excellent restaurant.

A bit of noise from street outside.

The hotel was very nice located and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel is very old and not worth the money they asked for.

The location was perfect, in quiet pleasant St. Mandé, two metro stops from my place of business, the metro station for line 1, which takes you to the main sights of Paris, almost on the door step. The room was very quiet, the duvet was wider than the queen size bed. I slept very well. The tables in the restaurant were set with white tablecloths, business people dined there at lunchtime. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Breakfast was pretty boring and meagre, every day baguette and croissant, always the same type of sliced cheese and cooked ham, yoghurt in plastic cups and pickled fruit, packaged portions of butter and jam. There was neither fresh fruit and vegetables nor eggs or muesli. Presumably breakfast is not that important in France, but that's a pity in a country of gourmets.

Staff here are lovely, they made us feel welcome. Breakfast was simple but did the job and was nice. Coffee/tea, croissants and jam, baguette, cheese and meat, fruit salad, orange juice (Charged at €8 per person per day). Shower was good, powerful, no issues with temperature. Bathroom overall fine. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, not exactly GhD but again, does the job. Very handy for metro access, less than 30 seconds to station entrance. This is probably the best thing about the place next to the lovely staff.

The pillows need replacing; they are pretty bad. Flat and old, the filling has separated. Also stained if you look underneath the pillowcase. Room can get a little hot at night, this was late May early June so I imagine in the height of summer it would be worse. There is a fan provided in the wardrobe, however, but no A/C. It's quite loud with the window open, so it is not good if you are a light sleeper as the hotel is situated on a main road, there are loud car noises (people in Paris are very fond of using their horns), on Sundays there is a market right outside the window which is noisy if the window is open.

Great location and good value for money

Room was very hot, had to sleep with windows open. Only a heavy duvet and no top sheet. There is a fan provided but I don't like the noise.

The Hotel was in a great location for us as we were visiting people in Saint Mande. However it was also great for going into central Paris as it is close to the metro and bus services. Plenty of restaurants in the area and the hotel.

    English speaking tv channel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean. Nice to have breakfast in the morning. Close to metro stopDinners very good.

Bathroom very tiny. Couldn't turn around. No space to put toiletries. No space for 2 suitcases. One on table so Couldn't use the table. Closet door had to opened with two hands as it seemed off the track. Hotel way out of the way. No dinner on weekends and not much else around. No elevator and I don't go up stairs very well

Staff, Location, Great Daily Maid service. Very safe neighborhood with many restaurants and services. Metro Access was 2 minutes from the hotel.

The beds were in a small alcove with very little room between them and right up against the wall. It was hard to not rub against the textured paint on the wall when sleeping. The shower was hard to get in and out of.

    5JurkraPosted on: 11-5-2023

It was clean and great location. Staff were helpful.

It was too expensive for what it is, a small room with 4 beds and very old bathroom, very outdated.

    3MariaPosted on: 10-21-2023

    Not up to scratch

The room consisted of 2 single beds and 1 folding bed. It was smaller than expected and the towels were frayed at the edges and even had holes in some. The meal at the restaurant had a srew inside the beef tartare. The meal was not refunded and only a glass of champagne was offered as a form of apology.
