Hôtel Mercure Paris Gennevilliers

We meant to check in at 2pm they didn't let us in our room until 17.15. The guy at the reception was very rudenot helpful at all. We had to hang around at the reception we had go keep asking if we can get in. The receptionist was happy to talk to his colleagues and walk away from us. Im not staying there anymore

The staff was awful. Lighting was very poor. Toilet roll holder was broken 4 people stayed in the room only 2 cups provided. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

The accommodation itself was acceptable, but my experience was overshadowed by an unfair charge. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay an additional €60, which the staff assured me would be refunded within 48 hours. Unfortunately, I never received the refund, and my follow-up attempts were ignored. This feels dishonest and left me very disappointed. Travelers should be aware of this issue before booking.

Unnecessary demand for security deposit by bank card, they don’t take cash for security, some visitor from someCountries might have hard time if card don’t respond , hotel should be flexible on this specially when guest is paying in advance Hotel distance from central Paris is 50 min drive via taxi due traffic, use bolts it’s cheaper then normal taxi or uber Location is in office complex area no near by store or restaurant although hotel have a restaurant but no much choice They don’t provide sleeper even on request

Pleasant and quiet area.Some staff are friendly especially the lady with curly hair and the gentleman but some need to practice how to smile or be pleasant

Although we waited for nearly four hours, the sheets were neither clean or ready.Too warm the room.

We booked the room for 3 people. The room is bigger than we expected for 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. The space is nice for 3 people. The location is good for who traveling with car or stay 1-2 night. It take around 30 mins to 1 hours depending on traffic to Paris.

The AC doesn't work well. It only gave us warm air and not cold enough for a hot day. Bathroom is quite small and give the floor wet when we take a shower. Over all the room was ok for us for 1 night.

Clean rooms, spacious with a good bathroom.Good price-quality ratio.

Location, really isolated from Paris and other facilities.Facilities at the hotel are limited, breakfast is really basic. Bed was really soft, almost no support for your body during the night.

Not much that I liked unfortunately

After a long drive from the South of France, my family and I, along with another family, we're keen to have a shower and freshen up. The hotel had an issue with water, so you couldn't shower or flush the toilet. I asked when it would be resolved, and they stated this should be resolved in an hour. I asked if I could be called to confirm so we could have a well-deserved shower/bath asap. After a number of hours that passed, we still didn't hear anything. After proceeding to the reception and asked about it once more, they confirmed the water had already been fixed. I asked why i wasn't contacted, as we all were waiting for the confirmation.The 2 rooms my family and a friends family had were a family room. The double beds were actually 2 single beds pushed together, so whilst laying with my wife, there was a dip in the middle, which made it extremely uncomfortable. We only noticed when we went to bed, which was rather late. This was very frustrating.I paid for breakfast on the last morning at the hotel. Afterwards, I proceeded to reception to ask what they could do for me and my friends' family, as the experience wasn't the best. The guy in reception had the cheek to say, "we could have offered you a free breakfast, but as you've paid for it already, there is nothing I can do." I responded, saying, "I paid in cash, not by card on this occasion, so can't you provide me the money back." - He responded, saying,"No, as they don't have the capability to do that, as he is not the manager." I asked if I could speak to the manager, where he responded that the manager doesn't work on weekends. So if there is any type of dispute, you have to wait for a week daycto try and discuss. If you leave on the weekend, it's tough luck.I am amazed by the lack of service. Casual behaviour by some of the staff (not all).

I booked a family room with 2 double bed although it was not available in the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and offered us a shared twin room instead. The situation is handled good.

Breakfast content was not enough. There was lack of material in general. The lady who works in the restaurant for breakfast was not friendly.

The location is good., easy to go the center paris through trams

When it come to check up . I asked for débloque the amount (150) €. I was told that it take a couple of weeks, then they told me I took a meal of 27 euros. When I wasn’t , then they said that it wasn’t me

The property was near though we had no operational fridge which was difficult for a 4 day stay.

There was not antything specific to like. Excpected more from a 4 star hotel

We did not like thay the AirCondition did not work and when we asked about it, we was told to open the Window, instead of being told that it was going to be fixed. The breakfast was not that amazing, always cold, not a lot of options either.

The staff were nice and the room was clean.

Not as close to the station as what I thought

On the day of checkin we called the hotel to tell them that we are stuck at Dover Port and will be late and checkin around 2-3am. When we reached the hotel, our booking was cancelled without any notification via booking.com or directly. Guy at reception said they cancelled the booking as we didnt checkin early and also said just because we have a confirmed reservation on booking.com doesnt mean its confirmed and hotel can cancel. Anyways, they made us a new booking for 2 nights ( I specifically asked the guy 3 times that we will be checking out on 28th morning and he confirmed yes). On 27th morning they wanted us to checkout as the booking is only upto 27th morning. After further argument they charged more money for 27th night which we were earlier told that is already covered.

Staff has no idea what they are doing. One of the worst experiences.

Breakfast is not good enough. You pay 9 euros per day for parking and it is 40 minutes by car from Paris main centre.
