    • The location, the organization.
    • Clean
    • Really modern

    Cons -

    • The bathroom always wet, my bed curtain was broken, the staff told me it would have been fixed day, which never happened.
    • Everything charge money.
    • The location isn’t terribly out of the way, but it’s not exactly in the heart of Paris either, where access to major tourist attractions is easier.

I really appreciated the facilities, especially the privacy offered by the bed curtains. They are uniquely designed and genuinely effective at shielding you from prying eyes. I honestly will not stay in a hostel that doesn’t offer privacy curtains, unless I’m truly desperate. And for once, I didn’t even have to pin them in place. That alone made a huge difference in comfort.I also liked the intimacy of the lobby. Many hostels prioritize bar culture over guest needs, with lots of noise and very little thought given to functional spaces. There are often not enough proper workstations, outlets, or comfortable seating. Once the bar closes, usually around 23:00, you’re forced to work in the dorms, which often aren’t even equipped with enough outlets. This place felt different. It was designed with guests in mind rather than bar traffic.

The location isn’t terribly out of the way, but it’s not exactly in the heart of Paris either, where access to major tourist attractions is easier.

For the amount of money that we paid, the room was totally worth it. The room itself was big and clean, and both the shower room and toilet were also spacious. All the beds also came with big privacy curtains that covers the whole bed, which is nice. The neighbourhood the hotel was located in was also nice, as there's restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

There was no place to hang your coats in the room. There was also no thermostat in the room if you want to adjust heating, so it was a bit chilly at night. It also takes about an hour to get to the city centre, though I'd say it's worth it with the price paid.

Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby, just 7 minute walk.

Washers and dryers are in disrepair.

We were traveling as a family of five. All adults. The five family room was tight but had everything we needed. Great way to travel on a budget. Location was about a 30 to 45 min Uber to some of the key places but it was New years so it was a little busy. . That was okay with us. We needed to be on that side of town for a few reasons, so we were OK with distances.Laundry was good. Vending area was good. One machine had card issues. No big deal. There is a store at the end of the street. Several places to walk to for food and other items.

The location, the staff, the vicinity, many halal options food available nearby. We were also given early check in upon request.

There should be a full length mirror in the rooms and the sink of our bathroom was leaking but since we were out most of the time, we didn’t get time to report it. Also a gym area would be nice.

The customer service is below average :) the reception team i met was not supportive, i requested early check-in they said its at 13:30 however on the information document they have in the lobby it’s mentioned 12:00 and its paid, so i decided not to have ealry check-in cz of descripency in the document and what they said. I asked can i check-in at 15:45 the lady was rude and she said only at 16:00…even thats the hotel rule however they have to be more nice…the bed blanket was not clean…

    The location

When I came, they didn’t find my reservation in their system. They checked on booking.com, they found it. But, they told me that they won’t give me a bed until my reservation reaches their system. Even, after someone from booking.com called them to explain the situation and to ask them to give me a bed because they were working to solve the problem. In final, I had to ask booking.com to cancel my reservation and to give me a refund

Good deal. The rooms are clean and have restrooms inside. The beds are well distributed.

    7AthenaPosted on: 10-16-2025

Location is 10 minutes walk to metro stations, food options, Lidl.

Separating the toilet from the bathroom inside the rooms is fine until you consider there is no soap provided. Gross.Access to a microwave is convenient but there is -nothing- else, and that coffee machine will dispense you the smallest imaginable coffee. The room was absolutely stifling and there's no way to open the window.

No kitchen access. Not even microwave for hot water.

This is still a pretty good place to stay but it used to be much better in the prior years. It still is fairly clean And has great security with overnight security guard And state of the art in room lockers.

No kitchen, not even a refrigerator. Windows in rooms do not open, it gets smelly. Housekeeping usually open windows during cleaning but in 3 days I was there room was not aired out once. Shower drains can get smelly too.

I liked the bed, the curtains and the locker.

The room was stink, and I got locked at the restroom twice!!! No one has fix the door

Bad service, bad attitude of the staff, absolutely no guidance of the rules of this place, charged €5 for keeping my luggage in the locker between 11am and 4 pm even though I had reservation for 2 consecutive nights.Lack of communication from hotel, absolutely no willingness to take responsibility and admit that they screwed up.No kitchen, no sink to wash hands, no utensils or even garbage bin in common area. Locker after check out for a fee €3 for 4 hours then €1 for each extra hour.Self check in via machine. Locker wasn't opening with a card later, needed to look for a staff to open it for me.Poor neighborhood, walking 12 min till the closest metro station. Grocery store was far, no fridge to keep your food, no utensils or paper towels to clean a table after yourself, garbage bin on the other side of the common area. Window was always open probably since AC wasn't working well.No possibility to book 2 night in a row on their site, this is how they make money by forcing you to check out every day at 11, put your luggage in the locker for €5 until you check in again at 4 pm and then the same every day. No hand soap or towels provided in the room. Locker is narrow but deep, probably won't fit a big backpack. Luckily I had s standard size carry on suitcase so it fit.It was hot to sleep, second night a guy left the window open for the night, which was better since it was less hot outside then the previous night.I have made a request to be reimbursed for the €5 ,heard just blame in my address. If I knew that this is how it works, I would have stayed in my previous hotel The People Bercy Paris which was excellent.

Rude staff, gave me attitude, didn't explain rules of every single day check out issue, the girl was annoyed by me coming down and asking to unlock the locker which wasn't working with the room card. The guy refused to explain why my luggage was locked and I need to pay €5 fee for hell knows why, I says that I will calm the police, vit didn't scary him. I says that I will leave a bad review, he just didn't care.I asked to speak with the owner, he said that only tomorrow morning someone will be available. The next morning was just another clerk. Now I will know where NOT to stay in Paris next time and if they have another hostels somewhere else in Europe or elsewhere, I will avoid having to deal with such a awful service.
