Villa dei Venti

This small hotel is set on the edge of a village with views down to the coast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the a la carte breakfast was fabulous! There was plenty of on street parking outside the hotel and a couple of restaurants around the village square a few minutes walk away - we enjoyed our meal in Ta'Vestru. Gozo is a small island so the ferry from Malta and all of the sights that we wished to visit on Gozo were within easy reach.

We were staying out of season and our room was chilly when we arrived but the aircon/ heating unit warmed the room quite quickly - it is probably lovely and cool in the summer. The mirror was too far from a plug socket to be able to see when using the hairdryer and there is nowhere to hang used towels to dry. The hotel used to have an onsite restaurant but now only serves breakfast although there are restaurants 5 minutes walk away around the village square as well as in other nearby villages

Beautiful accommodation, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Stunning view and lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

The property was well situated about 5mins walk into the main square in Qala.The hotel was modern and well maintained, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful, peaceful stay with a comfortable, spotless room and excellent facilities. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming — perfect for relaxing, reflecting, and recharging. I also had one of the best french toast ever! Highly recommended!

The place was perfect, clean, well located, the amenities were modern and in good condition. The bed was confortable and the room was perfect.The staff was very kind, especially Rick who gave us great recommendations and was lovely to meet

Nothing everything was perfect

The location is amazing and offers great views over Gozo. Also, the staff was exceptional and friendly and accommodated all of our wishes as we were there for a round birthday. The amenities are all very clean and well kept :)

There is only minor things about the rooms that we didn’t like: - The beds are very soft and the mattresses seem like they might need replacing.- There are no mosquito nets in front of the doors/windows.- One of the rooms had a shower curtain which made the shower very small, which seems a bit outdated.

Clean, modern, relaxing and beautiful views.

We like everything about Villa Dei Venti! The decor, the cleanliness, the staff, the rooms and the breakfast.

We had a chance to change our room with a pool to a room with a hot tub, which was nice, because weather was quite chilly even for us finns to swim.The whole place was clean inviting and beautiful.Breakfast granola was pretty and tasty.The staff was very friendly, helpful and they took good care of us.

The staff were really friendly and helpful - great customer service! We were upgraded which was lovely for me and my husband as it was our wedding anniversary. Nicely decorated and clean. The food was of a high standard including the breakfast- really tasty meals and nice local wine. And a beautiful view.

The bed was not the most comfortable it felt as though the mattress were broken in the middle/springs gone. The toilet seemed to be leaking slightly which gave the bathroom an unpleasant smell. We only noticed it on the 2nd night (last night) so didn’t bother asking to switch rooms especially as the smell remained in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa dei Venti. The location was great, the room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing!

Great location, lovely staff and amazing kitchen

Friendly helpful staff especially Amber who organised car hire..Eagles Garage and gave us a good recommendation for a local diving company...Blue Water who were brilliant. Beautiful breakfast menu and lunch and dinner. All cooked fresh when ordered. Nice pool and terrace area. Easy walk to the square where there were bars and restaurants. Room was lovely and spacious with a terrace overlooking the pool.

Beds where a bit small and a little bit sagged

Fabulously comfortable hotel with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. We were given great advice about where to swim, where to eat and how best to access different sightseeing locations. The private pool was a delight and made our stay unforgettable. Watching the sunset from the pool was a highlight of our awesome trip to Malta.

Property was lovely and super clean. All the furnishing have been well looked after. Food was stunning and the staff were truly wonderful.

No free drinking water available, although you could purchase bottles at retail value.

The friendliness of the staff, quiet location, and the dinner they serve on site was excellent. We missed a day because of a delay, and they were able to give us a free room upgrade, which was nice.

Nothing much. Wish I could've stayed my original two day reservation instead of just one. Flight delays ?

Villa dei Venti was wonderful!!It is a small hotel with great attention to detail and really thoughtful staff who look after you calmly and very well. I really enjoyed my stay here and the food was excellent. Will be missing my homemade granola when I get home!
