    Pros +

    • Tucked down a small street, this was a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. If you’re planning to spend time around St. Julian’s Bay, HOLM is in a good location.
    • On arrival the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Room lovely and clean. Loved the sitting area which made our stay comfortable as we like to stay in hotel at night and relax after walking all day x
    • Bed, pillows, shower, location, view- all amazing. The design in the rooms is top notch as in the hotel as well. Super super nice.

    Cons -

    • Looking forward to the Hot tub but did not work as the majority of pumps didn't work and while we was trying to work it, there was a constant flow of water causing it to overflow. Notified staff on Friday who said no engineer on site and will get someone in next day but then was told Noone to attend at weekend so never got to use. We paid extra for this hotel because of hot tub but didn't get to use it so could have booked a cheaper hotel. We decided as the hot tub wasn't working we would try the sauna as reception stated entry I to the sauna is complimentary but embarrassingly was told when we got there that this is not correct.. We poss would have returned to this hotel but for the above reasons we will not which is a shame. No real apology especially when we paid over what we couldve paid for a room without hot tub..
    • Given the amount of mosquitoes there would be good to have bug nets on the balcony door because makes no sense to have the door closed the entire time and no fresh air
    • The shower had leaking issues, and the toilet clogged after my first use. Since it was later into the evening there wasn't much to be done as the service staff had left. The hotel had an interesting furnishing theme which seemed fairly recent but the bedsheets had tears, it seems like they renovated the look more then the experience.

Great location with possible parking at hotel itself. Staff very helpfull and premises very clean.

Check in was super smooth, the staff were really helpful and even let me into the room a little earlier then the check in time. The spa was excellent and the massage I booked was great. The room was fairly spacious, and comfortable.

The shower had leaking issues, and the toilet clogged after my first use. Since it was later into the evening there wasn't much to be done as the service staff had left. The hotel had an interesting furnishing theme which seemed fairly recent but the bedsheets had tears, it seems like they renovated the look more then the experience.

Location is good quite and far from party spots it’s good if your traveling with family or looking for a peaceful place. Room size was very good specious. There is beach close by and groceries . As well as a bus station isn’t far .

Could have more of halal options for Muslim travelers on breakfast . Personally got unlucky with neighbors next room to me because they run music super extra loud for 2 days after 10pm felt like I was in a night club but reception handled it quick .

    12 o'clock check out!Sauna with Cold plunge!Massage was amazing!

It is 2 star, doesn’t worth money.

Poor breakfast, margarine instead of butter, etcThe linen was not the normal, it was with the hole and was made of two small, so you have the line under your back. The toilet cover doesn’t match the toilet, nightmare for the child. All is outdated, the sofa in the room needs dry cleaning, you don’t want to sit on it. The carpets in the common area should be cleaned or changed. The spa is also not “fresh”.

    8ChristinePosted on: 4-10-2025

    Room was spacious and comfortable

The temperature of hot breakfast items was poor

    8AbbeyPosted on: 3-25-2025

The staff were very friendly and housekeeping was attentive. The breakfast selection was nice, especially the pastries and juices. The room was very spacious with a bed, cot, sofa and big shower room. The placement of the hotel is set back from busy streets so you don’t get much noise, but not too far away that it takes a long time to walk anywhere, apart from the steep hill directly outside the hotel.

The rooms really need air con. Our room was 24 degrees Celsius most nights and we could barely open our curtains during the day because of the heat that came through. The rooftop pool was freezing so we couldn’t use that at all unfortunately. The gym had heaters in so was way too hot to work out. We also only had access to one English tv channel (even that was occasionally in German) which was a shame because we would have liked to watch something in the evenings after we put the baby to bed. Netflix was installed but didn’t work.

Wiew at the top, indoor pool, jacuzzi, staff, gym, food, room decoration.

    Everything was nice

    7VictoriaPosted on: 3-21-2025

Nice sized room. Good selection at breakfast with slight variation each day. We liked the area. It was quiet with plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Well served by public transport. Pool area small but clean. Hot tub which was ready to use at all times. Greeted at check in with a cold fruit drink. Staff seemed pleasant. Some fresh fruit, a towel display and a handwritten note provided as a token for our honeymoon.

Not great value for money. We seemed to be unlucky with the executive suite we were given. Did have a sea view if you stood at one specific side of the balcony but could not be seen from a seated position anywhere on the balcony. We paid the extra for the suite because of the balcony and view. Seemed the others all may have had a better view. We had asked and offered to pay for an upgrade for the best room as it was our honeymoon and were told this was the best room though I'd say there were at least three executive suites that had a better view. We were in the Emperor suite. Loved the style of the room but they need to also consider the function. Big hanging lamps beside the bed, we can't be the only ones to bang our heads off these! Only access to small pool and jacuzzi during stay not the other spa facilities like sauna etc. Some people staying do have access. I think if you book direct with them you get access. Surprised we were not given access for even just one day as a token. There is no changing area in the changing rooms which seems like an oversight. Toilets seem to be the only option unless you want to stand in front of the lockers or between the showers and hair dryers. A towel hook in the swimming pool toilets would be helpful. Staff were pleasant but inconsistent. At breakfast some people would be asked if they wanted a hot drink, others wouldn't and so you would have to ask for it. At the pool we had told them our room number to register to use the pool but then we had to go back and ask for towels and keys for the lockers for our stuff. They seemed more concerned in working out if we were one of the lucky ones who had full access to the facilities rather than giving us what we needed! It's a nice place but very overpriced for what you get.

    - Rooms were clean - Friendly staff - Free parking (but the road is very narrow)- Central location - Breakfast with a small but good selection. The hot dishes changed daily (e.g. one day we had pancakes, the next day crepes)

    - The TV display had bright spots and Netflix didn't work (an update is required, which you can't do yourself) - We had booked an extra package, which unfortunately was not complete, but we got a corresponding discount after we complained about it

The location is great and the rooms are very big

Breakfast is mainly sugar and canned food… low quality and diversity. The rooms lack furniture apart from bed and nightstand and a wardrobe it is empty

Great location, close to water front, local pubs, restaurants, and public transport. Lovely contemporary rooms with comfortable beds and a good size balcony. Fridge in the room, good coffee and bottle of purified water refilled every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of freshly made options for breakfast. Small pool and jacuzzi included in prize

Additional cost of £35 per day, per person if want to use sauna

Breakfast was a great way to start the day, lots of variety, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone. Our room was absolutely stunning! The décor was sleek and modern, with a cozy yet luxurious feel. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail really stood out.The location was perfect, close to great restaurants and bars, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep.

The spa and rooftop pool were lovely, though the indoor pool was a bit on the smaller side.

The hotel is very nice, bfast was very good and Spa facilities aswell.

I was disappointed because our room was not cleaned and we had a smell in the room, I told the receptionist but no one came back to me. Another thing that could have been delt better is that one of the staff was not fluent in English and when we ordered the coffees he didn't understood us well and brought them differently.

Lovely room and veru nice breakfast great staff and very clean

    4MizziPosted on: 2-15-2025

Good but it used to be better

From the last time we went it seems that they are trying to cut in costs. Coffee was served by a cheap machine rather than doing it themselves. Breakfast was much better the last time we visited (in terms of selection, coffee & food tasted better)

    7ZanePosted on: 2-8-2025

We liked the location because it was a walk away from the see and restaurants. The staff was friendly a specially Rhea from the from reception. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy.

There was a problem with noisy air conditioning but the problem was solved promptly by switching the room. The breakfast was poor with only few vegetables and very poor choice of fruits. I missed some good lightning in the bathroom to put my make up on.
