    • Corinthia exceeded our expectations. Our first time in Malta and I think we picked perfect hotel for our stay. Beach is divine, warm water, we truly enjoyed it. Mind you , beach is all rocks so someone might not like it , for us it was 10/10. Everything is clean, we used all facilities , sauna , gym etc. Breakfast is buffet and literally can’t be better. Location is just perfect. During the day you stay close to the beach, and at the evening all the clubs and restaurants are 5-10minutes walk from the hotel. There is even a bus stop right outside if someone wants to use it , it’s super convenient to even take it to and from the airport. Honestly i can’t find one thing we didn’t like. Brian was great , so shoutout to him and all the staff. Everyone was great.

    • Room, facilities, braeckfast, terasse, poll

    Cons -

    • Old resort, not plugs near bed. Bed connected . Worst spa in the history of spas. Not sure how this hotel had 5 stars, not possible
    • Nothing at all!
    • As soon as you enter the hotel, you can feel the specific, overly strong smell of the SPA. I didn't like that there were too many people coming to the hotel from neighbouring hotels.

Nice spacious property , excellent views of Mediterranean seas, very clean and super polite and helpful staff! Huge selection of excellent restaurants to chose from for meals! The location is secluded from the highly built up St Julian’s Bay but easily accessible by walking over to the other side too!

    Nothing at all!

We liked the seawater and sunny weather, and enjoyed being able to watch the 2025 Rolex Middle Sea Race sailing competition. It was very kind to receive a personalized letter from the manager. Perhaps it would be better if the reception also paid attention to this information. For example, about the gate codes.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you can feel the specific, overly strong smell of the SPA. I didn't like that there were too many people coming to the hotel from neighbouring hotels.

Nino was great and helped us get a room that did not face the construction.Edgar and Johanna were very nice and helpful!!!

Our 1st room faced the construction site next door.

    Scenery, pools, room comfort

Having to climb under desk on dusty rug to find a plug for hairdryer. No plugs in bathroom.Drapes were pretty but full of dust. Room smelled mildewy.

Reason for staying in this hotel were the large pools and many chairs around. The balcony is large. And bed very comfortable. In the lobby is served great coffee and sweets in the small restaurant.Very nice staff, helpful.

The area of the entrance into the see could get some attention (paint on the rails, better stairs, or at least clean the steps). The rooms are quite old and worn out. Breakfast is OK - not enough fruits and vegetables, the area around jogurt stinks, juice is made from powder. Nuts are old.Cups for tea should be larger and not like for a small coffee.

The outdoors was perfect! Pools, restaurants, access to the beach. Breakfast was excellent.

The room had a smell of old mold. It felt like entering a room that hadn't been used for a long time. The bathroom had a leak and there was no soap in the soap dispenser.

The reception team were very helpful and gave ample details. The cafeteria in the lounge was really relaxing. The hotel including the pool area were very clean. The cleaning crew was very attentive to detail.finally the breakfast team were so nice and friendly. Overall an experience i would expect from a five star hotel and you went above the threshold. Top marks and definitely will recommend.

The WiFi works well. Great location.

There were no accessible bedside outlets. We had to plug everything in across the room or near the desk. The lighting in the bathroom needs improvement. It's way too dark.

We stayed at Corinthia St George’s Bay to celebrate my husband’s 45th birthday, and we were warmly welcomed with sparkling wine and a cake - such a thoughtful touch! The hotel is a bit tired, and rooms and public areas could use renovation, but this is the only downside. The location in St. Julian’s is lively, yet the hotel itself is a peaceful haven away from the noise. There are three large pools, an indoor spa, and plenty of space and sunbeds. The on-site restaurants are excellent - no need to go into town. Staff are attentive and friendly, making our stay very comfortable.Despite being slightly dated, the five-star service and atmosphere are definitely felt. Nearby construction slightly affects the view but doesn’t disturb your stay.Overall, we are very happy with our choice and would return here without hesitation.

Wonderful staff and facilities, with something for everyone.

Only downside is the location — it’s nearest to the clubby part of St Julian’s, not a historic area, like Valletta. Still, it’s got great restaurants and views, and it’s easy to spend the whole day lounging at the pools. yes, pools. so great.

Great breakfast, great location and private beach

    10IamiraklisPosted on: 8-29-2025

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The staff were attentive and always happy to assist with any request. The morning buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the beach, though rocky, was beautiful and very clean.

    The wifi wasn't sufficient sometimes

    9JuliePosted on: 8-29-2025

There were plenty of choices for pools and restaurants on the resort property. No shortage of sun chairs, and the staff was very friendly.

Not the resort’s fault, but there is a lot of construction nearby which makes driving difficult. There was no noise problems from the construction though, so just a minor inconvenience.

Reception staff were excellent. We only booked room an hour before arriving through booking.com. They advised that all rooms were booked out and we should not have been able to book a double room. However, because of this oversight with booking.com, the hotel upgraded us to a suite.. The suite was very large and clean. The Pools were fabulous, the staff very friendly, loads of restaurant choices, etc loved our stay and wished it was for longer.

A bit old the rooms and no beach

    7RhiannonPosted on: 8-10-2025

Highlight was the Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant. Food was good and we were lucky to have good waiters who were knowledgable and attentive.

The property is quite old and in need of updates. New water bottles were not replenished in the bedrooms; you had to pay extra for them, which seemed ridiculous since they offer replenishment of tea and coffee but not water! Pool staff were not attentive and going to the bar for any form of beverage tool some time. Location is currently surrounded by building sites which makes it noisy and dusty.

    8JanetPosted on: 8-4-2025

3 different pools to choose from. We loved the adults only pool - very quiet and peaceful. Good poolside bar for lunch as well.

A lot of construction at the front and side of the hotel that you can hear from the hotel and your room. The rooms did not feel 5star rating worthy. Quite dated interiors and the bathroom needs updating
