Pros +
- The bedroom was comfortable. The bar welcoming. All staff were exceptionally friendly. Half board was a very good decision. Breakfast catered for all tastes and the 5 course meal every night was to an excellent restaurant standard, perfectly cooked fillet steak was just one of the main courses we enjoyed. We enjoyed the walk to the ski lifts in the morning, to warm up before taking the gondola up. It was a good 1 km walk up a gradual hill to the lifts but there was a regular free bus to the slopes that many used daily. The leisure faculties were well maintained and looked either new or newly refurbished. We had a swim in the evenings after skiing and enjoyed it so much took an afternoon off and relaxed by the pool and it didnt disappoint.
- Extensive breakfast and very good evening meal. The latter has a buffet salad bar with soup option followed up by 3 courses if you can manage them. The food was well balanced, the chef knows how to get the best from his/her menu. The meat was nice as was the veggie option, servings were not so so big as to make you uncomfortable. You will be asked to select your main course on arrival (if in the afternoon) or at breakfast. All the staff were really nice. Its located well for the Soll centre. If I were staying for skiing the bus stops outside or if you can store up at the lifts its an easy and scenic 1km walk. In summer the pool areas would be really nice as will the new pool complex which is nearly finished.
- Excellent skiing venue
Cons -
- Nothing really, maybe a tea/coffee making facility in the room.
