- Once there, good location for ski lifts etc
- The location is unbeatable. At the top of Hexwessen gondola and truly a ski in and out accommodation. The views were phenomenal, as were the meals and the staff.The owner took personal interest that each of his guests needs were being met.
- What an amazing location, halfway up the mountain. Perfect for hiking, amazing giant playground right in front of the hotel, beautiful views, and the eggs at breakfast were cooked perfectly. In the evening, it's very quiet and the kids especially enjoyed having the empty playground all to themselves.
Cons -
- At the hotel once the Hexenwasser cable lift closes at 16.30 the only way down to the main town of Söll is by a steep, icy mountain road ( I.e. local taxi) .Apres ski was until around 7 o’clock and after eating evening meal nothing much to do but hit the sack !
- Rooms are a bit small, just to set expectations fairly. There's not much room to sit down except on the bed (there was also a single small chair) so know that if you want to hang out, it'll need to be at the restaurant/bar or outside. This was not any different than is advertised, so just know that this is the case.
- The water fluctuates in temperature whilst you shower. So be prepared that it'll go from super hot to cold in a second and then change again moments later.

Wonderful location! We loved being halfway up the mountain. It was a very special stay. The staff were amazing! So kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast had plenty of food-local specialties and friendly service. We were so happy to stay here. It was a special part of our trip!!!

Excellent location. the hotel is a restaurant located at the top of a ski lift. no transportation required at all to get to great skiing. you can also purchase lift tickets and ski rentals in the buildings next to the hotel. The half board is a very good deal, without it it would be difficult to find places to eat for dinner as the hotel is quite high on the mountain. the food served is very good. rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
The location is awesome. Right next to ski lifts and ski pisten. The personal was nice due the whole stay.

Depending on season you have to realize to travel up with the lift and park below.
