Pros +
- There are many facilities in the hotel and the staff was really nice. Excellent value for the money!
- I just like that the rooms were clean.
- Fast reception
Cons -
- Only bad thing is that you need to pay for wifi and the breakfast is really expensive, except that everything was amazing.
- What I really didn't like that the Wi-Fi is not free and the breakfast is not free and it's very expensive. And the playground of the kids is not free so do I have to pay for everything?
- The room was super tiny, surely not 4-star, more likely a 2-star motel: ~50 cm around the bed. I feel myself fooled. The "terrace" actually was a part of a parking lot, with a small table, where I found dirty dishes and cigaret butts. During the evening there was a "show" with loud musik and stupid artist, regardless of the fact, that on this day in Austria there was a day of mourning for the children killed in the terrorist attack.

Loved everything about this beautiful hotel, especially the nice front desk people. Also appreciated the comfortable beds and many offerings available. Truly it is a resort!
I didnt get to see the hotel since they moved me
Upon arriving to hotel Berghof i was told they are fully booked even tho i booked. Then i was told i need to go to "better hotel" which is nearby. Im a reasonable, mistakes can happen. I went to this better hotel Tennenwirt also in Soll,Austria. Around 20:00 i entered room, left my luggage and went to dinner which i was already late to. Came back at 22:00. Started to prepare for sleep then saw entire bed covered in black hair. Went down to talk with manager about it. His response was "you were in room 2 hours before, you should saw earlier,i cant do anything now" . There is no way hotel was full since i didnt saw or hear anyone. I even asked for new sheets which i was gonna change myself. Again in very rude manner i was told he cant do anything and i want to go leave im free to go. Next day i went to hotel which i booked to report all this. Also not much help apart from apology
Nice staffNice and quiet area
No free WiFiNo kettle, mini fridge in the roomBathroom standard not four stars
Since I just had a transit night in a place that is actually a leisure hotel I did not take advantage of any of the amenities. But the place looks good. With a personal and somewhat quirky touch
Nature around hotel.Restaurant food and stuff.
Rooms need renovation. No sound isolation so you can hear everything from rooms around.Pillows and beds are uncomfortable.Smelly towels. Broken shower had.
We really liked the balcony in the room, the spacious bathrooms, the toiletries provided and the free access to the fitness room. Also the staff was very welcoming.
Our only complaint is that the WiFi was not available in the rooms and was charged as an extra.
Nice clean rooms. Good but expensive breakfast.
Stayed only 1 night but i will repeat it for a longer stay for summer and winter. We liked the room and the facility. Many activities for kids.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff and flexible late check-in.
We are a couple and got a very big room for a great price.
The most friendly front desk staff I ever encountered - thank you for the warm and friendly welcome
The staff at the restaurant - but the food was good :)
The location was really good, staff was friendly and helpful
The Glases in the bar were not clean at all
Its a super cute family hotel with a nice view
The furniture was quite outdated like 80s stlye but it was also charming and fit to the hotel
Staff, decor, position, close to the Söll ski, the music, welcome drinks, happy hour.
Some rooms are very old, feels you like a 2 stars hotel.
Enough words can't explain the high level of customer service and efficiency of the reception. Everything is absolutely perfect, highly recommended for anyone who wants a quality in exchange for the right price. Absolutely impressive place in the middle of Austrian Apls not far from the most beautiful sky resorts in Alps
I couldn't find something to dislike. All absolutely perfect...
The location was very close to the Brixenthal - Scheffau - Soll, etc. ski area, which was a plus (I did not use any of the ski areas listed above). There was ample free parking at the hotel, although that is not surprising, given that the hotel was built farther away from the road. This location is probably advantageous for families with kids, but it is hard to imagine what they would do if they did not have a car. To reach the hotel, one has to drive some ways from the road where the bus drives, including having to drive right through someone's active farm (with animals and machinery), therefore it would be quite a drag having to walk to the road to catch the bus (the hotel guide says people can catch the bus on the road; it offers no assistance in this regard).
The young man at the reception was not polite; in fact he did not provide the usual service either. When I signed in, he only focused on getting my money, but did not provide the usual information, or even let me ask questions. To start with, I was surprised that at such a large hotel, he required pre-payment on the first evening of the stay (as he was hoping to charge me for three nights, although - based on my experience - I decided not to stay beyond the first night that I had originally reserved). Even at small pensions, they charged me only before my departure on the last day - although the owner had to come individually at that time (while the hotel has a receptionist there anyway). Also, since I desired information, I came back a bit later that evening, and when the man was again not available, I came back to the reception the third time. Then he responded to me some, but then went away again. And when I asked for the sewing kit that was missing from my room, he just yelled from the back office that it must be there. Also, for an example, it turned out that only when coming to the sauna door, one learns - in German only!!! - that even as a guest of that hotel, they have to pay 29 Euro per night (or a bit less if using the sauna for more nights), as seen in the attached photo. This information is not in the hotel description at Booking, and it is not posted anywhere - where the guest could see it in advance - either. While the receptionist certainly did not volunteer the desirable information. But they do provide bathrobes on every bed, and even little clips to make sure your bathrobe will not be mistakenly used by someone else in the sauna - see the attached photos. Thus I am not sure how they expect this to go - when guests get their robes on, come down to the sauna area, and only then learn about such a charge, which would be unusually high even for a public establishments, while I have not yet seen a hotel that would charge their own guests for sauna.
Really nice huge garden, great for kids to playTasty foodGood service
The atmosphere here was just great, a lot of fun to do everyday. The staffs were so nice to us and after 3 days we were just like friends ? the location was far from Soll ski area however the ski bus stops just in front of the hotel. And you have everything you need here, a big ski room, a bar, a good restaurant, sauna…
Well, we booked 7 rooms in advance but when we came the man at the reception told us there were only 3 ?which were shocked at first, he gave us a discount for breakfast and spending at the hotel. In the end the stay was really nice for all of us.
