- An Exceptional Stay at Hotel Le Kaila – Perfect in Every Way!I recently stayed at Hotel Le Kaila in Méribel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel’s interior is absolutely stunning – a perfect blend of modern Alpine chic and cozy elegance. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought out to create a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The location is ideal, with easy access to the slopes and the heart of Méribel. The ski rental service was top-notch, offering premium equipment that made my time on the slopes even more enjoyable.Dining at the hotel was a highlight of my stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options to start the day. The dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant L’Ekrin was impressive, with exquisite dishes that showcased local flavors. The restaurant’s ambiance was perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing. The Nuxe spa was a true sanctuary. The facilities were immaculate, and the treatments were relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the perfect way to recharge after an active day. What truly sets Hotel Le Kaila apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is genuinely friendly, professional, and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I cannot recommend Hotel Le Kaila highly enough. Whether you’re visiting Méribel for skiing or simply to enjoy the Alpine charm, this hotel is the perfect choice. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!
- Amazing hotel, clean, aesthetic, beautiful, the best service and location, huge thanks and compliment to concierge Rafael, he was very helpful, careful, attentive, welcoming, friendly and super professional. The best experience. Strongly recommend to stay here, I would love to stay again here when come back to Meribel ? thanks to all team for great stay❤️
Cons -
- Ski in was not as easy as it looked. Electrical fault, repeated outage of all lights, after 2 - days of multiple outages daily, twice whilst in the bath, with a painful leg I had to get out carefully due to no lights, pitch black. Hotel should have offered an alternative room, which they only did on the final night at 5pm, when I was packing, spoiled my holiday and wasted time waiting for maintenance guy that didn't turn up!!
- Areas of improvement - for room cleaning service to be done at the breakfast time, as sometimes it was done around 15:00
- Very expensive for certain items . For example 8 Euros for a small bottle of water in the spa . Most 5 star hotels would be complimentary
