    Pros +

    • Can’t find anything that wasn’t perfect, except perhaps the fact sometimes the noise level in the restaurant and spa was a bit too high for our taste, due to a large group being noisy. Not anything the staff could do about it.
    • The facilities were clean and recently renovated. The place is what you expect from a 5 star property. Exceeded our expectations
    • Excellent location, very attentive staff and the facilities were great.

    Cons -

    • Would be great to have a little more variety when it comes to food but it might be because we were in the pre season time.
    • The gym needs a new treadmill(probably two ) /better weights /more towels
    • Lunch service on the terrace was ignored for over half an hour. Also a burger of 37 euro's should be more special then it was. Also please get some good alcohol free beers for our sporty beer lovers.

The ski in ski out was just perfect . Excellent staff who were cheerful, welcoming and helpful . The property is beautifully designed with a lovely ambience . A good large spread for breakfast.

The hotel is lovely-cute, it has more of a home feel than a 5 star luxury hotel, which I was expecting for the price I paid. Very clean and has a new feel to it,, staff all very friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Bryan and lady from skii shop. Ski shop rental conveniently located at the hotel. Ski passes organised by hotel also very convenient. Still and sparkling water was free in room everyday. Free mandarins and walnuts, though was not refeeled.I appreciated a free shuttle the hotel provided to go to and from the town. They dropped me off and picked me up as soon as I called them. Hotel is on the heal, easy 5-10min walk to the shops, markets nearby. It is easy to ski out but not so easy to skii in. Out of 7 days I managed to skii in only twice (I'm intermediate) because is hard to find hotel off the slopes or if poor visibility day, forget it. It took me to go on Cascades lift to actully see where hotel was. Best chair lift to skii in was Plein Sud - take right and ski till you get to the very stip slope, the hotel is in the middle of it on your right so go slow not to miss it. Hotel has no visible signs to see from the mountain - it would be great if they had a big red/orange logo with lightd on the roof to see it from the slopes. Otherwise all hotels look the same and hard to find Pashmina.I enjoyed sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.Breakfast was plentiful: fresh yammy pastries, I appreciated greenery cucumbers, tomatos, salad, cheese, salami, smoked salmon, omlets and sosages, pankakes, cereals, gems...but every day it was the same. I staid 7 days and after 2nd day I was over it. Would be nice to have red caviar at least once in 7 days ;)You can drive up to hotel to drop off your luggage. My room had a balcony and nice view on the mountain and slopes. Though it did not have airing option only full door needed to be open, which is not ideal being on 1st floor. Small kettle in the room was very handy.

My fist night at the hotel - it was a very strong wind outside (about 50km/h) and my door was making very loud noise, it woke me up at 2am and it was pretty scarry. It would not stop so I could not sleep - for a 5 start hotel I would expect insulation to be better and not have any noise. I was moved to another room without noise, very inconvenient to do it in the middle of the night. Being solo traveller I was terrified going to a new room in the middle of the night. It was an amazing huge 2 level apartment :) Thank you to the night staff lady for checking every room with me ???Second night - at 3am there was a false fire alarm. It went off for several minutes and felt like ages. No announsment was made so at 1st I thought it was neighbours alarm going off. I'm glad it was false and all was okay. I had a great practice run - frantically opening up safety box, grabbing passport and dressing up fast in the middle of the night :).Skii in - hard to skii in back to the hotel as it is hard to find hotel as no visible signs to identify hotel from the slopes. It is not convenient when all you want is to skii in and rest after all day on the slopes. I had to walk up the hill twice, be picked up from random places to get back to the hotel. Please install a huge visible logo on the roof for your guests to see and light it up in neon when visibility is zero. Would have been nice to have toothbrush, tooth paste and hair tie as part of amenities as expected from 5 star hotel (I had to ask for it as I forgot mine)Cutlery and plates in room would be greatIt all ads up to the travelling adventures - I'm glad I'm okay- keep up the good work Pashmina team.

Friendly and supportive staff. Convenient ski store. Hotel food is excellent. Availability of local transport even at late hours of the night

Ski out is perfect. But ski in is limited. It took us several rounds to find the track that leads to the hotel.

OMG - this hotel is our favorite ski lodge that we have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world: [1] Super funky wonderfully styled suite, [2] Fantastic staff through the whole hotel, [3] Magnificent food in both restaurants and the bistro, [4] Special shout out to Jean-Michel Brunel for his care for buffet breakfasts each day (magnificent ! strongly suggest to include and pay for the breakfast !!). We stayed in a Junior suite, not a single room, and we were ridiculously comfortable and happy for our stay. The Michelin Star restaurant was available for us, without a prior booking (though I would recommend booking) - that experience was exceptional, as you would expect. Unexpected though ... was the magnificent food in the other "main" restaurant. There is very obviously carry-over from the Michelin Star restaurant. Before staying here we read reviews, and it seemed the only valid "complaint" was that it is a bit of a walk up the hill. This isn't really a concern - make sure you have a phone connection and ring the hotel and they will send a car to pick you up from wherever you are in the village. So helpful, and so convenient ... this is just one example of the extra trouble they will go to, so that you stay is perfect.

There is nothing to complain about with this hotel. There should be a warning for "first time" skiers .. the "ski in" and "ski out" is fine for intermediate and better skiers, but might frighten first timers - they can instead ask for the free shuttle service to take then down to a more sensible and easier slope.

It is a small and very cosy hotel. It has a Michelin starred restaurant. Well trained staff. We enjoyed staying in an igloo pod one night. Very nice cocktails. The ski shop staff were very helpful.

There were limited food choices for kids. The lunch menu was limited and did not change once. Perhaps we were early in the season. We chose to have lunch on the mountain instead. Location is very good but the ski-in is quite tricky so not for unexperienced skiers. Very narrow, steep slope and very busy. Most people had difficulties coming down that way. It made an entertaining view from the outside hot tab. Watching people trying to come down after some apres ski in La Folie Duce. Most ending up on their bottoms. The one bedroom suit was comfortable but the toilet and the bathroom were separate. Which meant you could use the toilet while someone else was in the bathroom, but there was no hand basen in the toilet which meant you still had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands. They were not next to each other, either. Apparently it's a regional thing. Makes you wonder if the French wash their hands after the toilet and do they pee in the shower. For our family it was rather inconvenient.

They rip you off they charge us 18 euro per glass of trash orange juice in the morning When we already head backrest included in our booking that didn’t stop them for charging us extra for everything Bottle of water in breakfast ( all included and paid already ) but the charge us for it

The Pashmina is absolutely excellent. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. We had a deluxe XXL room with 2 bedrooms and a central lounge, which worked wonderfully for our family. We also had our own harman, which was a hit after a day's skiing.

My only small issue was Les Explorateurs, the Michelin star restaurant at the hotel. It is highly overpriced for what you get and the experience was lacking compared to other Michelin star restaurants I have been at. At the request of the restaurant, I provided my culinary preferences, and when we sat at the table, I was told they never received it. In addition, we had a table close to the kitchen, and it sounded like they were having a party in there - not what you want in terms of a quiet evening of fine dining.

The hotel is beautifully designed, The team is wonderful, efficient, pleasant and thoughtfulVery convenient ski in & out and the equipment in the shop was of good quality.Pauline, with whom we corresponded prior to our arrival was very helpful and helped us secure restaurants, She had excellent tips.It was also great to be able to schedule massage at the spa in the last minute. Both masseures were very good!

Upon arrival my car was taken away to be parked. My luggage taken care of and room was upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Location is superb. Spa area was fantastic. Breakfast was great very friendly attentive staff. On departure day I had an early flight out of Geneva… Asked for my car to be ready very early and there it was all prepared, heated seat on! A superb hotel which I will definitely come back to. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

The staff - amazing. The spa - superb. The food & wine list - incredible.

Rooms a bit pokey. Parking charges were steep and early check out time is a bit annoying.
